Weird Nuisance Brought on America: Another WNBA Team Bites the Dust
By Debbie Schlussel
For over a decade, I’ve written about a national sports farce: the WNBA a/k/a Lesbian Basketball, Inc.
Why does a “sports” “league” that never made a profit in a decade of operation, and that has yet to reach the ratings that the XFL got in its single season, continue to exist?
Political Correctness–with a capital PC–subsidized by liberal NBA gazillionaire owners, who make NBA fan/customers subsidize it, too.
It still exists, but the WNBA (Will Net Bupkus Always) has just seen another team go kaput, the Charlotte Sting.
In December, the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats got rid of the money-losing WNBA Charlotte Sting. A female marketing executive wanted to buy it, but couldn’t raise the $3.5 million (they should have paid her $3.5 million to take the loser “investment”).
Yesterday, the team folded because neither the NBA nor the WNBA could find a buyer. Surprise, surprise. Also not a surprise, the WNBA had no comment, yesterday.
Time to pull the plug on this failed social experiment in pro sports feminiam. They’ve had over a decade to prove themselves. It’s a solid, consistent failure.
And a Waste of National Broadcast Airtime.

Dammit, Debbie! That’s another 12 lesbians… err… “athletes” that are out of work. Now what are they going to do?!… United Way-sponsored mentorships at girls sports camps?!… High School P.E. Teachers?! I had a lesbian high school P.E. Teacher for a couple of years. It was an old school bootcamp, to say the least.
