Debbie, itís frustrating and frightening to see how out of touch so many Americans are to the radical Islamic threat here in the United States. America is infested with what I believe to be a large number of radical and disloyal Muslims who are complicit in the growing threat of terrorism. Some may not participate in terrorist activities directly, (as far as we know) but are guilty of collusion nonetheless by simply looking the other way, doing and saying nothing, when they may have knowledge of events that have happened. If they are against it, you rarely hear a word. Well, I really didn’t comment on your articles because it was the same old crap, you hating on the muslims blah blah blah! But I noticed now you have dearbornistan not celebrating thanksgiving. Well you are totally wrong! I don’t know what part your visiting, but in my part of “dearbornistan” we enjoyed a delicious Turkey, with some stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, salad, gravy, and all the yummy pie, with might I add, our relatives. You couldn’t even park your car because how crowded the streets were. Boy oh boy do I love thanksgiving. My turkey was halal just as yours was kosher, Debb. You are right about lebanon flags being hung up without an American flag by them. However there are many homes with Lebanon flags next to a United States flag. Thanks Debbie for once again showing the citizens of dearborn, Michigan and the country that the Muslims in America are the victims. I hope you had a nice thanksgiving yourself.

I respectifully differ on this post. Lebanon’s a multi-ethnic country who democracy has been impaled on that ubiquitous cedar tree from Palestinian, then Syrian, then Iranian domination. Even if most Lebanese are united in a resentment and even hatred of Israel, any hope for that country being a stable democracy will come from identifying, in that flag, the hope for Lebanese independence of outside Arab (and Persian) domination.
If you want the UN, the French and the Hezbollah flags the hell out of Lebanon, that cedar flag is the one you want to see flying. It’s a step in the right direction.

I was thinking along the statesmanlike lines of Israel’s UN Ambassader Dan Gillerman, who said at the outbreak of last summer’s war: “The Lebanese people have been living under oppression for over 30 years. They deserve to be free as well [as israelis from Hezbollah]…. Wouldn’t you be intimidated if a word against the Syrians would blow your car up?”
