Immigration Status of Dry Run Islamic Terrorists: Guess Which Prez Gave One a Green Card? Other is Illegal
Last night, as I watched local Detroit TV news coverage of the two Islamic terrorists from Yemen, Mohamed Nasser al Soofi and Hezem Abdullah Thabi al Murisi–the men whose luggage contained explosives in an apparent terrorist “dry run”–I wondered about their immigration status.
Ahmed Nasser Al-Soofi & Hezem Al-Murisi: Neither of These Islamic Terrorists Should Be Here
That’s because local relatives–who are VERY DISTANT relations–of Al Soofi said that he does NOT speak English and, yet, he lived here for years and worked at a job in Alabama to send money back to his wife and kids, WHO LIVE IN YEMEN. Huh? Why is he here? It turns out that Al Soofi has legal permanent resident status a/k/a a “green card.” Why? How did he get it? He isn’t from here, his family lives there, his relatives who are here are very distant relations, and he doesn’t speak English. So, why was he given a green card and the right to work at jobs that Americans should be doing?
If we stopped this baloney, we could get rid of a ton of potential and actual Islamic terrorists like him right off the bat. But, instead, as I’ve reported before, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services spend less than six minutes per background check per green card applicant. So, even if there was a red flag–and that doesn’t need to be a presence on the terrorist list or terror watch list, but can be the factors I’ve listed above–there is no way they’d have even noticed. It’s basically a rubber stamp. And by the way, the rubber stamp f0r Al Soofi’s green card was issued under PRESIDENT BUSH. Many experts and former feds complained about the inadequate background checks for green card applicants. And BUSH. DID. NOTHING.
And, then, there is Al Murisi. He came to the U.S. on a visitor’s visa, which he apparently overstayed for quite some time. That means he’s an illegal alien. Why is he still here? And why don’t we track guys like him to make sure they are gone when their time is up? Well, you can thank Republicans for that one, too.
As I’ve previously noted on this site, in 1999 and 2000, Republican Senator Spencer Abraham (a Lebanese Arab and pan-Muslim apologist whose chief advisor and press secretary/apologist at the time was FOX News Contributor Dan Senor) starved the INS budget of all funds meant for a computerized visa tracking system for all aliens, a system Congress voted for but Abraham defunded so that it would never happen. Abraham–whom Mark Levin praised and for whom he repeatedly made excuses when Abraham later became Fred Thompson’s campaign manager and I raised this issue–defunded the computer tracking of aliens at the behest of the pro-HAMAS/pro-Hezbollah Islamic terrorism-apologist, Jim Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute.
But, don’t worry, on Mark Levin’s show, tonight, the high-pitched hack will not mention this. Instead, he’ll engage in his usual ignorant partisanship and blame Obama.
Sorry, Mark-of-Idiocy, but these two terrorists came here and stayed under President Bush. And he didn’t enforce immigration laws either. It’s worse under Obama, but it was bad enough under Bush.
And remember these two, whenever you see and hear former Bush administration official Dan Senor on FOX News or in the Wall Street Journal excreting his BS about being against Islamic terrorism. He’s responsible for people like this wandering in our midst and trying to blow up planes, because he helped stop America from tracking and deporting them.
Again, no, I still don’t miss Bush yet. If you do, maybe you’d like to take a plane ride with the luggage of Mohamed Nasser al Soofi and Hezem Abdullah Thabi al Murisi.
Yes, Bush is gone from office, but his squandering of over seven years post-9/11 lives on forever and we shouldn’t forget his many misdeeds that brought us to this point. I’m sure his soon-to-be-released memoir will be well-fertilized with claims about how tough the former Prez was on national security and terrorism issues. Don’t believe it. As my late father would say, “Cast Thy S**t Upon the Waters.”
Yup, the Bush national security / “counter-terrorism” excrement is floating back to us in spades. If they had blown up the plane with those explosives in the luggage, sadly he would get none of the blame he so richly deserves.

Great article Debbie, I first heard this story on Michael Savage’s radio show yesterday evening, when you mentioned which president issued one of these guys a green card, I wasn’t surprised that it was Bush who did that by issuing a green card to one those guys. I hope other conservative sites post this story on their webpage and give out the entire facts on which former president gave one of these guys a green card.
