AGAIN: Detroit Muslim Arrested on Terrorism “Dry Run,” Amsterdam Flt; Allowed to Fly w/ Explosives

By Debbie Schlussel

Hey, it’s yet another Muslim alien from my neck of the woods using that Amsterdam flight route to perpetrate his terrorism–a route between the US and Amsterdam similar to the Amsterdam-to-Detroit route used by UndieBomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and two other men after him who lied to authorities and locked themselves in the bathroom, after boarding with no luggage.  In this case, actually, there were two Muslims involved that we know of . . . and likely many others of whom we don’t know.  Yup, more “Religion of Peace” “Peacefulness” in drag:

Ahmed Nasser Al-Soofi & Hezem Al-Murisi: Traveled w/ Explosives, Terrorism Dry Run

Two men taken off a Chicago-to-Amsterdam United Airlines flight in the Netherlands have been charged by Dutch police with “preparation of a terrorist attack,” U.S. law enforcement officials tell ABC News.

U.S. officials said the two appeared to be travelling with what were termed “mock bombs” in their luggage. “This was almost certainly a dry run, a test,” said one senior law enforcement official.

And here’s the really incredible part–that they LET the men board a flight, despite being stocked, locked, and loaded with all the ingredients for explosives. Yup, you and I have to dump our orange juice and bottled water and Muslim Arabs get to do this:

The two were allowed to board the flight at O’Hare airport last night despite security concerns surrounding one of them . . . .

The men were identified as Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi, of Detroit, MI, and Hezem al Murisi, the officials said. A neighbor of al Soofi told ABC News he is from Yemen.

Airport security screeners in Birmingham, Alabama first stopped al Soofi and referred him to additional screening because of what officials said was his “bulky clothing.”

In addition, officials said, al Soofi was found to be carrying $7,000 in cash and a check of his luggage found a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle, three cell phones taped together, several watches taped together, a box cutter and three large knives. Officials said there was no indication of explosives and he and his luggage were cleared for the flight from Birmingham to Chicago O’Hare.

HUH???? HUH???? HUH??? “NO indication of explosives”?! WTF? Anyone who reads this site (and we are not law enforcement or explosives experts) knows that cell phones and watches are used as bombs and timers, respectively.  As I’ve noted both Al-Qaeda terrorists Ramzi Youssef and Ahmed Al-Ressam used timers as watches to set off bombs in airplanes.  So did recent terrorism indictees Wesam El-Hanafi and Sabirhan Hasanoff.  Several Muslims have been caught buying up disposable cellphones, which they admit they know are being used for IEDs in terrorist attacks in Iraq and elsewhere.  And they let this guy board? WOW! Someone needs to be fired. Pronto. On the other hand, if you stop a Muslim with makeshift explosives, thousands of dollars and weapons, then you are unfair to Muslims. It’s absurd.

Once in Chicago, officials say they learned al Soofi checked his luggage on a flight to Washington’s Dulles airport for connections on flights to Dubai and then Yemen, even though he did not board the flight himself.

Instead, officials say, al Soofi was joined by the second man, Al Murisi, and boarded the United flight from Chicago to Amsterdam.

When Customs and Border officials learned al Soofi was not on the flight from Dulles to Dubai, the plane was ordered to return to the gate so his luggage could be removed. Officials said additional screening found no evidence of explosives.

Dumbasses. Again, see above.

The two men were detained by Dutch authorities when the United flight landed in Amsterdam, according to the officials.

Wow, someone’s lucky a plane wasn’t detonated into oblivion. Luck only, not skill, stopped anything from happening here.

Yup.

The sheer incompetence of federal aviation security authorities is exceeded only by the audacity of would be Muslim terrorists in successfully penetrating the airline security.

All because we don’t have ethnic profiling. I was checked not only the first time I boarded a plane but also when I boarded my connecting flight! I have to take off my shoes and be searched and this harassment is one reason why I don’t look forward to flying anywhere. But if you’re a Muslim (redundant would-be terrorist), our politically correct and pathetically inadequate security measures are a very minor inconvenience.

How many days are we away from the 9th anniversary of 9/11?

Oh, I am so sure that does not matter into it at all. Or their funny sounding names.

Oh yes, I am an American so it’s very bad for me to conclude Islamofascism has a thing to do with this. CAIR may get angry at me.

SARC!

At what point will it be ok to conclude the obvious?

That Gregorian/secular date is infinitely more important this year. In fact, the jihadis won’t be able to help themselves, as this dry run illustrates.

This year that date has a quadruple witching element, jihadi factor of 0.998.

I sure as hell wouldn’t be caught…near…an airplane around that date.

I expect air travel to the GZ 9/11 event to be white-knuckle, and not due to turbulence.

9/11 is also Shabbat Shuva, the Sabbath between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. The synagogues will be overflowing. I hope they have increased security.

So did any one taste test the Pepto with the cell phone taped to it? I can picture twiddle dee and twidle dum going thru the luggage, Hey there’s a phone taped to this big bottle of pepto, what should we do? Put it back it isn’t dangerous and besides the passenger can’t get to it from his seat. Yep, morons are running the show.

Isn’t this why they put a limit on the amount of fluids you can bring on board? Now are they going to start dumping checked bags to look for fluids? So another successful test run that was averted after the test was finished. TSA should be proud and maybe give someone another made up award.

Debbie, I recently passed through security on a flight from London to the US. The guy checking me shnagged the unopened diet coke I tried to sneak on board in my carry on and made me throw it out. The thought of waiting for the stewadess to award me a drink was mildly distressing, plus the airline was Pepsi based which is a minor issue. The hilarious part was that this security guy was a bearded Muslim, one of scores of visibly Muslim workers at the airport. Next time maybe I’ll hide my drink in a hollowed out Koran. On the plus side, my Kosher meal had three times the fat and calories of the regular meal, and they served the special meals first.

A1 on August 30, 2010 at 9:16 pm

Sickening. Just sickening. I’m glad I’m not flying any where. Now to move some place safer than the middle of the burbs.

samurai on August 30, 2010 at 9:39 pm

A1… they’ll try to smuggle explosives inside a hallowed out Koran. I bet it wouldn’t be given more than a cursory inspection. They don’t revere the alleged sanctity of their own holy sites, then they wouldn’t pay much regard to desecrating a Koran if it would help to strike terror into the hearts of the infidels.

All that BS filler about respect for Islam is infidel butt-kissing of it. Muslims themselves treat it like a joke when no one is watching them.

NormanF on August 30, 2010 at 9:44 pm

I live in Alabama and I swear even I who has no experience with security or terrorists, would have easily seen this was a huge problem. I am so angry that they allowed these f’ers on a plane from here. They could have easily used these knives or the box cutter to kill crew or passengers and then it would have been 9/11 all over again.

I wonder how many other Muslim morons aka murderers did the very same thing today and succeeded! I am very worried for our country.

Pat on August 30, 2010 at 10:14 pm

I agree they are morons who should have never been allowed to remain on the flight.

You seem like a moron also.

In response to this statement of yours.
“They could have easily used these knives or the box cutter to kill crew or passengers and then it would have been 9/11 all over again.”

How could they “EASILY” have gotten the knives or box cutter from CHECKED in baggage?

If that is the case everyone would put their favorite liquor bottles in their checked luggage and EASILY get the bottles out in flight to drink from instead of paying $5-6 for a mini bottle.

Rick on August 31, 2010 at 8:36 am

      Rick

When I received the news, the specifics were not given on the “checked” baggage. Only that the items were found in their “baggage”. But still you have to wonder even though the I.Q. for you may be extremely low, if these terorrists had three cell phones taped together, why wasn’t the one found taped to a bottle taped with the other ones? Because this was a test run to see what can get by screeners so it can be used later in an attack.

The cell phone taped to the bottle is a big deal and a red flag as far as I am concerned. They should have been detained in Alabama. For all we know, they could have detonated something there.

Finally, we have man here illegally. That too is a big deal.

What difference does it make to comment on DS’s pic? Not relevant to this story. You just have to be a lib jerk.

Pat on August 31, 2010 at 7:12 pm

So this becoming a pattern. Altho one cannot actually prove willfull, wanton, criminal and wreckless negligence…my view is that unless and until the higher ups in aviation security, congresspeople, senators, actually themselves become victims, that is to say, until their family members are actually beheaded on you-tube, hijacked, blown up, box-cut, only then will the little energy efficient light bulb illuminate, and will they begin to put a stop to this suicidal folley they call security. Thank you Debbie for continuing to shine sunlight on this mold…

hill billy on August 31, 2010 at 1:22 am

There are way too many of these so-called dry runs to be real dry runs. They are not such.
They are false-flag operations designed to imitate terror attacks. The goal is two-fold: arrest these operatives on minor charges, often dropped because they really were not serious…..especially if you are a Muslim, and, to allow the real bombs on board without question. All of these are designed to give Islamic passengers a special privilege.
It is trained, and all goes back to the Mosque. The Minnesota Imams.

pat on August 31, 2010 at 1:35 am

These men should have never been able to board the flight.

The bottles were empty, not full.
You find errors in people’s comments, so fix your error and state that the bottles were empty.

Rick on August 31, 2010 at 8:26 am

Also, who does the photoshopping for your picture that is on the top of the page. You look quite different from the appearances on the various television program appearances.

Rick on August 31, 2010 at 8:28 am

Un-freakin’-believable. What a pathetic bunch cowards and losers we have protecting us from Jihad/terrorism.

Rick: empty or full bottles? Not really the point, dude. Also, Debbie’s alleged photoshopped pic seems rather unimportant compared to the USA’s collective bending-over-and-dropping-pants in the face of Islamic Jihad. But hey, I guess everyone has their priorities.

Don Kenner on August 31, 2010 at 8:54 am

In the context of Debbie’s reporting it is. She is always critiquing other people’s comments so I decided to critique this post.

I believe that these idiots do these “dry runs” to scare us and ruin our traveling experiences.

I am not of Islamic or Arabic descent but I did take a world religion class and in the class we learned that this jihad story used by the terrorists is a misinterpretation by themselves. The religion itself is not saying to do any of these horrible things.
That is what I learned from my Catholic World religion teacher.

Fired? The agent/supervisor in charge will probably be promoted!

In April I was standing outside Radio City Music Hall for 9 hours to get tickets for the NFL Draft. About one hour before we were given our bracelets to get in the next night, a jeep pulled up with 4 guys in it. All were wearing costumes to hide their identities. They slowly drove down the street, filming the thousands waiting on line. As I watched this jeep go down the street I noticed the license plate of the Jeep said “GAZA”.

The next day, before heading back to Radio City, I decided to go to my local precinct and report what I saw. After all, a huge crowd standing outside Radio City was a lucrative target and I thought ” If you see something, say something”. The woman at the desk of my local precinct could not care less. “Its not illegal to film people, sir”. “I didnt say it was illegal I said it was suspicious”. She acted like I was spoiling her entire week but told me she would contact Intel.

11 days later, some guy parks a van full of explosives in Times Square, and the Mayor of New York City says it must be
someone who opposes healthcare legislation. Are these people idiots? These are “Public safety officials”?????????

Barry on August 31, 2010 at 9:28 am

The agents that caught these men will probably get fired for racial profiling.
Their job isn’t to catch terrorists.
Their job is to look like they are trying to catch terrorists.

The shocking part of the story is that the government actually used the term “dry run”.
Debbie gets ridiculed for using that phrase as if she is a paranoid nut-case. And here even the MSM seems to be admitting that there really are “dry runs”.

Rick, why are you so concerned with minutea and not able to see the big picture? Try to open your mind beyond trying to pick at Debbie.

You just never know what the muzzies will try next. Maybe next time they will try to get one of their little children that want to be suicide bombers, dress them up in an animal suit and stash them in a cage in the cargo hold. Or, they could implant a bomb inside of an animal. How are animals screened anyway? Probably way much better than the average white man.

KING HUSSEIN OBAMA’s FBI say they are not suspects. Now move on.
The MSM is going forward saying there was no law broken and we should be happy KING HUSSEIN OBAMA’s Homeland Securtiy was on top of this. Homeland Security has now become PC Security. Actually it has never secured the homeland even with Bush in there as well. And the media never asks why all these dry runs involve Muslims.

Why is Amsterdam always involved? Alaos, is Detroit one of Amsterdam’s biggest destinations at least from ain air travel point? I know DTW is a major hub but why these specific geographic places? Why not Heathrow or Degaulle?

LaTonio Carter on August 31, 2010 at 3:52 pm

Don’t the officials in the Homeland Security remember that the 9/11 Muslim terrorists used box cutters to successfully carry out their hijacking of the planes to smash into the twin towers of the World Trade Center?

How come the Homeland Security spokeswoman Amy Kudwa said “The items were not deemed to be dangerous in and of themselves” when a knife and cutter were found in the baggage of one the two Muslim men in addition to a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle?
Of course the knife and cutter have been proved to be very dangerous items in the possession of radical Muslims on commercial flights.
The presence of a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle which simulates a remote controlled liquid explosive bomb is additional evidence that it was a dry run for terrorist attack or an intentional act to erode the US security against terrorist attack if they are let go without conviction.

If they are not convicted of any crime, soon many radical Muslims will be doing the same thing and there will be many cell phones taped to bottles with suspicious liquid inside the baggage on board US planes. One day, many of those contraptions may contain real explosive liquid and functional cell phone remote control wiring and dozens of US planes may explode over US cities within a short span of time, causing wide-spread destruction and panic even more terrifying than that of the 9/11 Muslim terrorist attack.

The TSA said, “None of the checked items violated U.S. security rules“, so the Muslim man al Soofi was allowed to fly with the bottle of liquid with a cell phone taped on it in the baggage.
Really?
So why did the TSA tell the woman Cirillo-Tarica that she could not board the plane unless she threw away the three ounces of breast milk she had just pumped?

The TSA and the Homeland security staff need to stop putting their heads up their asses to pretend that they see nothing wrong with Muslim men making dry runs of terrorist attack in order to please Obama.

Bull Connor says,
“Simon you dope they were in locked and checked luggage
Tea Party brains
lol”

Since the AP in Yahoo News blocks me from replying to the ignorant comment of Bull Connor under the heading “US investigates potential terrorist test run”, I’m going to debunk his liberal trash here:

Bull Connor you moron, cell phone remote control bombs can be activated by dialing the correct cell phone number even when they are in locked and checked luggage on board a plane. That’s why the simulated cell phone remote controlled bomb made by the Muslim man al Soofi should not have been allowed to pass through security and put on board the plane EVEN WHEN IT WAS IN LOCKED AND CHECKED LUGGAGE.

You’ve got a typical liberal trash brain.
Your LOL is proof of your stupidity.
I recommend that Dunn should be your middle name.

simon6071 on September 5, 2010 at 12:28 am

Associated Press headline on October 29. 2010 says:
Obama: Terror explosives found, bound for US

When the Muslim men Ahmed Nasser Al-Soofi and Hezem Al-Murisi made a dry run for terrorist attack earlier this year, the Homeland Security spokeswoman Amy Kudwa responded by saying “The items were not deemed to be dangerous in and of themselves” when a knife and cutter were found in the baggage of one the two Muslim men in addition to a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle.

That’s why the Muslim terrorists decided to go ahead to use real explosive this time because the stupid Obama cohorts did not take the simulated bomb in the dry run seriously.

Last time it was the Dutch government that uncovered the dry run simulated bomb. This time it was the British government that uncovered the attempted attack on the USA with real explosive. It was the passengers on the plane who stopped the crutch bomber. It was a street vendor who uncovered the Time Square bombing attempt and saved Americans from another major Muslim terrorist attack.

The AP headline should read:
British Government to Obama: Terror explosives found, bound for US

Fort Hood massacre is what would happen when the Americans are not vigilant thinking that the Obama camp has taken warning signs of Muslim terrorist attack on Americans seriously.
