I can’t describe here what I wish to do or how I feel. The least I can say is: I’m speechless because I’m frustrated.
Speechless but not for so long. I’m not talking only about myself but about the silent majority of my fellow Americans.
Debbie, I refer you to Bush’s “Islam is a religion of peace” if you want to know why the Muslims are doing what they are doing in America and why our government is doing nothing to stop them.
If the Republicans (who call themselves “Conservatives”) are letting the Muslims loose, what can we expect from the Liberal-Democrats?
The American people must take America back.

Assuming that mass attendance at that parish was so low, that it “had” to be unloaded, there was no one else to sell this building to?

Unfortunately, old gothic-style churches have no other purpose other than for worship. It’s not like a hotel or office building that can be converted into co-ops or condos. You can’t convert a church of that size into a manufacturing center, either. The archdiocese doesn’t have the capital to raze it and build housing (although I wish it had). They could’ve razed it and sold it as an empty lot but it would’ve taken money to do so, and they would not get as much for it than if a building (church) stood there.
I am certainly distressed to see the church now defiled by a bunch of Satan-worshipping bastards. These savages exist only to murder the very same people who built that church and worshipped in it.
They get to pray, with their asses in each other’s faces, in a beautiful building filled with such architecture – architecture that their minds are incapable of understanding. They will also use the church as a place of segregated worship, where men and women can’t pray together. However, while it was used as a Catholic church, men AND women worshipped side by side.
What a shame that the building will be used by a bunch of demon-worshipping Neanderthals.

Back in the 80’s there was a ‘liberation theology’ movement in the Catholic Church. It was basically a program to reshape the Church into a pro-Communist force. In fact, two of the most leftist teachers in my high school were two of the nuns. In part I think that since they lived like Communists and it worked (in their eyes) it was good enough for the rest of us. Nevermind that external subsidy by Capitalistic participating Church goers.
When the Soviets fell, I wondered what happened to them. They no longer had their beacon in the world. But they did what the rest of the lefties did when the Soviets fell, they blended in for the most part with their one exception. They will hasten the destruction of the traditional West (America) whenever possible.

I am shocked reading this just now. It’s sad enough that the church has to close down but why turn it into a mosque? Why? Why not a homeless shelter? Antyhing but that Yuk, Ugh!

Yes, that parable is about the ChurchÖthe small seed represents Peter (the leaderÖthere always has to be a clear and visible leader, not unlike Moses or David in the OT) and the 11 (disciples), while the tree represents the tangible and visible growth of the Catholic Church from these original roots~
This Muslim acquisition aside, and the necessary purges of the Church by God from time to time, the Church has grown phenomenally from itsí beginning.
That parable of Our Lord Jesus was also, therefore, a prophecy.
As Jerusalem was the centre of the Old Covenant, Rome had to become the centre of the New Covenant. At the time of Jesus, Rome was the centre of the pagan world, and had to be brought under Godís rule. New wine (the Gospel) for new wineskins (the pagans)Öso the whole world would be won over to God, and not only the Jews.
So the CATHOLIC CHURCH can, of course, never dieÖit must keep growing right up until the end, byÖare you ready for this BurtÖsupernatural necessity~
