Funny Letter of the Day

By
The funniest letter of the day has to be the Letter to the Editor in today’s Wall Street Journal (subscription only) by M.A. Mohammadi, Press Secretary of the Mission of Iran to the U.N. in New York.
You need not read the contents of the letter, just the title summing it up (which consists of a statement taken from the letter):

“Iran’s Nuclear Program is Entirely Peaceful.”

Uh-huh. Sure it is.

Mr. Press Secretary of the Mission of Iran writes that “the international community will reject any attempt by the U. S. to transgress the rule of international law”.
This due to the WSJ printing an editorial by a private citizen suggesting that economic sanctions particularly with regard to the sale of wheat may work against the Iranian regime.
The Iranian regime has a thing or two to learn about international law particularly with regard to the execution of children. Not just dishonor killings by family members but public executions of children by the regime.
Visit iranfocus.com or any of a number of sites that can verify the extreme cruelty visited upon Iranian citizens by the mullahs.
Iranian officials raped Canadian-Iranian journalist Zahra Kazemi before she died and put chemicals in her body to speed up its decomposition.
And now their press secretary is writing to the WSJ about the United States of America transgressing international law.
This one deserves a letter writing campaign in response.

Osama, in his recent warnings message did say the heaviness will come down in Iraq and Afghanistan to start with.
Obviously, they want to clear their own *house* before they move to * our house *.
Logically we must really put our shoulder to it and remove Muqtada Al-Sadr and his black bands running about kidnapping and lopping off heads of non-payers.
For Pakistan and Musharraf explained in a nutshell by a Captain*s commentor. To save you the search, find it at:

We could bring you to your knees: Mush
LONDON: General Musharraf has mixed rank self-righteousness with a remarkably stark warning to the West that it could be ‘brought to its knees’ if Pakistan withdraws its cooperation in the so-called war on terror.
………But sources here said Musharraf’s passionate defence of his country and its infamous intelligence agency early on Saturday morning was yet again undermined after Mumbai’s police chief firmly blamed the ISI for planning the 7/11 train blasts.

The US must change the nature of dealings with the Pakis-they never were friends and never will be. The border issue has to be readdressed:
SOLUTION
Afghanistan and Balochistan should form a legal team to challenge the illegal occupation of Afghan territories and Balochistan by Pakistan in the International Court of Justice. Once the Durand Line Agreement is declared illegal, it will result in the return of Pakistan-occupied territories back to Afghanistan. Also, Balochistan will be declared a country that was forcibly invaded through use of force by the Pakistanis; and with international assistance, Balochistan can regain its independence. It is the right time to act now because the US and Allied forces in Afghanistan are positioned to facilitate the enforcement of the Courtís judgment.
After Pakistan vacates territories belonging to Afghanistan and Balochistan, a new boarder should be demarked amicably to determine Baloch dominated areas to become the new Balochistan, and Pashtun dominated areas to be merged into Afghanistan. And, with the help of the US and Allied forces, the Afghans and the Baloch forces can flush out members of Al-Qaeda and Talebans from their respective countries.
A wise observer once said, ìPakistan is a completely superfluous and artificially created spot on the world map that has become a breeding ground for extremism, and trouble that would be best done away with.î
