Dumb Editorial Column of the Day
By
Yet another reason why the USA Today op-ed page is completely irrelevant. And dumb:
Today’s USA Today op-ed page has a column by Lionel Beehner of the lefty Council on Foreign Relations with this absurd headline:
A Bush-Ahmadinejad Debate? Why Not?
Anyone who needs to ask this question is a complete moron. It’s a headline more suited for The Onion. This is not a Coke-Pepsi taste test, in which both commodities are equal.
We’re lucky Beehner and McPaper weren’t around for this op-ed:
A Roosevelt/Truman-Hitler Debate? Why Not?
Among other stupidities encapsulated in the Beehner op-ed, is his anger that President Bush is ignoring “the Iranian leader’s quirky blog.”
Quirky? The guy is a madman loon who could annihilate the world. And he calls him “quirky”?!
Which leads us to the op-ed we would write:
A Council on Foreign Relations? Why?
The only good thing ever to grace the USA Today op-ed page is our friend, Cal Thomas. Other than that, it is pure birdcage liner.

Yeah…. “Quirky”… Quirky like a batshit crazy, megalo-maniac, only with enriched uranium to eliminate a few million Jews just a stone’s throw to the west of him.
