MTV Casts Anti-Israel Muslima on “Real World” – “The Real World, Hezbollah”

By Debbie Schlussel

When Rima Fakih–a Shi’ite Muslim Hezbollah supporter (from a family of top Hezbollah officials and “martyrs”)–was chosen as Miss USA, last month, many ignoramuses, including several on the right, claimed she couldn’t possibly be an extremist or Hezbollah supporter because she wore a bikini.  Just like Mohammed Atta couldn’t possibly be an Islamic terrorist because he drank alcohol at strip clubs and gambled in Vegas.

therealworldhezbollah4.jpg

Now, MTV is pulling a Miss Hezbo USA in casting Lebanese Sh’ite Muslim Sahar Dika--a graduate of Dearbornistan’s Hezbollah High (Fordson High School)–in the newest season of its lame reality show, “The Real World.”  And Dika is openly anti-Israel.  Check out her tweet, below, from her Twitter account, attacking Israel over the HAMAS Gaza terrorist flotilla.  But, hey, since she’s wearing a low-cut halter top in the picture, she couldn’t possibly be a Muslim extremist or Jew-hater, right?  And if you believe that, I have a strip joint in the Bekaa Valley to sell you.

Her tweet on Israel:

sahardikatweet

Moreover, Dika’s father, University of Michigan-Dearborn Arabic professor Dr. Rifaat Dika, Ph. D., is militantly anti-Israel and a supporter of Islamic terrorism. In 2005, he presented a paper to the annual meeting of the American Sociological Association, arguing in support of “resistance” (a/k/a terrorism) against Israel and claiming that Israel and the U.S. have “marginalized” Arab and Palestinian “culture.” In 2004, he signed a letter to the director of the U.S. Census, authored by the openly pro-Hezbollah, pro-HAMAS Arab American Institute, attacking the Census for sharing information on Islamic terrorists with the Department of Homeland Security.

The Muslima apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Expect to see pan-Muslim, anti-Israel propaganda on MTV’s “The Real World – New Orleans.” Best not to watch the show . . . or anything on that crappy heap of mind pollution they call a cable network. And, just like with Rima Fakih, don’t look for her to denounce Hezbollah . . . or for anyone to dare ask her to.

They shoulda called it, “The Real World, Dearbornistan.”

Remember the “good old days” . . . when MTV was about bad music videos by “Aha” and “Poison”?

Well this message is for my little friend Debbie. U need to stop hating buddie, the real world has 6 other cast members so y u are pinpointing one girl and namingf the show after wat u ASSUME she believes or follows. Just because a muslim joined the cast doesn’t make the whole show about that. So stop the narrow mindedness, its an attribute of the ignorant. Hollywood is basically owned by all the anti-muslims in the world, you dnt hear muslims complaining. So do yourself a favor and stop bitching just because 2 muslims got a shot. You don’t know where they’re from or what they’re about. Get over urself.

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for your response to my “mind candy” response of yesterday on FB.
Besides enjoying your articles, I have a few creative ideas I’d like to share.

As goes Israel: Everything that you’re saying to babel is pretty much something she could say to you. I mean, that’s the Muslim message (per this website), right? They’re all “wide awake” (I doubt THEY think they’re brainwashed, even if you do), see you as a threat, and fear that if they don’t fight you every waking minute, then you’ll kill them and/or make them submit to your moon god. Which, really: what is a moon god? Sorry, but all religions are equally ridiculous in premise, although certainly not equally violent.

I’m not Muslim – not religious at all, really – but hypocrisy bugs me.

hellcat on June 29, 2010 at 2:47 pm

Hey hellcat — you may be bugged by Christians or Christianity, but they won’t behead you for not converting. The same cannot be said of Muslims. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Ted666 on June 29, 2010 at 2:55 pm

    Teddy!

Thank you for handling that very small matter, hellcat. He has been roaming the boards for a couple of days now and each post is stupider than the last.

Life or death! That’s the difference hellcat. Start smoking.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 29, 2010 at 3:15 pm

And they will behead if you ever try to leave Islam. The US government is spending more energy seeking to deport an ex Hamasnik turned Christian to a certain death sentence than it has ever done to remove Islamic terrorist Ibrahim Parlak. You wonder why all the “beautiful people” are not applying pressure to allow him to stay. Its sad when his Shin Bet handler had to reveal his own identity to try to save his life.

MTV is still on the air?

The last time I watched it was when Beavis & Butthead were on and I think they even did something silly like play a music video.

I’m still baffled why people watch “reality” shows.

Jeff_W on June 29, 2010 at 3:02 pm

hellcat, “Sorry, but all religions are equally ridiculous in premise, although certainly not equally violent.

I’m not Muslim – not religious at all, really – but hypocrisy bugs me.”

Hypocrisy bugs me, too.

I think all non religious persons are equally ridiculous. They just say stupid things like “All religions are the same” just so they don’t have to think and investigate.

In fact, I think all non religious persons wet the bed and are sissy momma boys or dumb broads.

I like “thinking” in broad brushes and cliches!!! It’s so much easier.

Jeff_W on June 29, 2010 at 3:11 pm

You are so fucking dumb.

Sandy D on June 29, 2010 at 3:15 pm

Stopped watching that skank program when they stopped playing music videos. Same with VH1. If they’re not airing some sort of reality garbage than its all Black all day every day. From the looks of these two programs one would think that the only musicians out there are gun toting, hoe pimping hoods who wind up in jail after a few short weeks and only one song to their credit.
They should have the Real World Iran, or Syria. They only put the Muslima on because they have already done the gay, lesbian, racist, drunk, rehab charaters. They’re running out of shock value.

perception of truth on June 29, 2010 at 3:18 pm

MTV is a trash network. On the other hand, I think Sahar Dika should be on it. Let’s have Americans see who “Westernized” Muslims really are.

You can take the Muslima out of the Middle East but you can’t take the Jew-hating savage out of the Muslima.

Keep that in mind when you see her in a halter top and shorts on “Real World.”

NormanF on June 29, 2010 at 3:31 pm

Ted – I’m not bugged by Christians or Christianity. Really, anything that makes you a good/kind/moral person, I’m all for it. My point was just that it sounded like As goes Israel was saying that Islam is a ridiculous religion, and I pointed out that they’re all based on rather ridiculous-in-premise stories – see below. Never compared them in terms of violence or goodness. And thanks, but I’m not really a smoker.

As goes Israel – I’m a girl. What kind of name is hellcat for a man? And I’ve actually been on the boards longer than you have. So if you take issue with my posts, please comment on the posts themselves – I’d love to debate any of them with you, but it sounds like BS when you don’t comment until I call out your post.

Jeff, again – I never said they were the same at all. I just said they’re all based on ridiculous premise. I’m realizing a bit late how offensive it came out, so please allow me to clarify:

I don’t mean that Christianity as a religion is ridiculous – from what I know about it, I think the principles are quite admirable. What I mean is, when you tell the story of Christ to a child, it sounds like a fairy tale – as does the story of all religions. I hope that clears it up even a little bit. I’m not anti religious, nor do I think religious people are ridiculous/ignorant/the same, or whatever you are implying with your “broad brush” comment.

As goes Israel: I don’t know, I don’t really feel like it I guess, and America is still a free country, right? Plus, I don’t see you answering my question – which of my posts did you take issue with before I hurt your pretty little feelings by commenting on yours?

hellcat on June 29, 2010 at 4:39 pm

Sure, you can use your tongue as a shovel.

        You go girl.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 29, 2010 at 5:41 pm

You stay classy, As Goes Israel. I’ll talk to you when you can engage like an adult, instead of slinging petty insults like a child out of ammunition.

hellcat on June 29, 2010 at 9:55 pm

Hellcat,I invite you to read just one book of the Bible, the Gospel of John. Read it over a few times, thoughtfully. If it does not raise any questions in your mind, then wait for some time and try it again. If it does raise questions, then find someone knowledgable in the Scriptures to answer your questions. Enjoy your reading.

Not too concerned with this. She admits she doesn’t “know much.” MTV is irrelevant, anyway.

Lilida on June 29, 2010 at 4:06 pm

She actually got it partially right in her tweet. She doesn’t know much…

Brian Cuban on June 29, 2010 at 4:41 pm

Just another celebrity who should shut up and do what celebrities should do: entertain! They don’t need to inflict their moronic opinions on the rest of us.

NormanF on June 29, 2010 at 5:08 pm

Anneka, If you are referring to me then too bad so sad.

Nothing I said is racist or anti-Black. Facts are funny things, like the truth.

First of all MTV glorifies the black ganster rap culture and EVERYTHING that goes with it. The guns the violence, the drugs, the HOEs, pimps, etc…..etc…

There is more filth related to the hood persona on MTV then on BET. When MTV goes back to equal time for all musicians then maybe I’ll watch it again, although with its latest stunt by putting a Jew-hating Muslim on the air, I think I’ll pass.
Where’s the Jew, or devout Christian on the show? Like I said earlier, MTV is runing out shock value. Putting a Jew or a Christian on the show would…well, just be boring.

perception of truth on June 29, 2010 at 5:46 pm

Next thing you know they will have a somalian pirate on the show for “Shock Value”.

Irate Pirate on June 29, 2010 at 7:47 pm

CaliforniaScreaming on June 30, 2010 at 4:04 am

perception of truth:

Sorry, you are responsible for what you said. You stated that you didn’t watch MTV because “its all Black all day every day”. Only when challenged, you shifted to the more publicly acceptable “conservative” discourse of “the black ganster rap culture.” If that is what you meant at first, it is what you would have said at first.

“When MTV goes back to equal time for all musicians then maybe I’ll watch it again …”

That is a real laugher. When MTV first came on, they refused to play ANY black musicians AT ALL. Herbie Hancock had to refuse to appear in his own video in order to get MTV to play it. MTV tried to address the complaints by hiring a black DJ (or VJ or whatever they are called) but that was it. It took Michael Jackson’s record company (CBS I think) to threaten a boycott of all their artists from MTV in order to get them to play black artists, and even then FOR YEARS they would play only one or two black artists A DAY, usually Michael Jackson! As late as the early 1990s, MTV rarely showed black artists outside of their set-aside “urban” programs like “Street Party.” MTV only started regularly showing black music when AND because the rock music scene collapsed (when record companies foolishly abandoned it for the alternative/grunge fad, only to have nothing left when the alternative/grunge fad died out) leaving them no other white videos to play but basically country and older acts. If there were current white acts out right now like Guns and Roses, Journey, White Snake, Metallica, Phil Collins etc. like there was in the 1980s, MTV would play them. But it isn’t MTV’s fault that Lady Gaga and former American Idol contestants are all there is.

And yes, there is the double standard, big time. You dislike the black ghetto culture in hip-hop and rap? Fine, so do I. But what on earth makes the white “sex, drugs and rock and roll” culture any better, especially when so many of them have radical politics to boot (i.e. the entire punk rock scene)? From the drug addicts to the devil worshipers, I am mystified that anyone can regard rock music as being any more moral – or any less destructive – than rap music. That’s why the “family values” types back in the day opposed both of them. And not just the conservatives like Bill Bennett either. The far-left Geraldo Rivera did exposes on what that heavy metal scene was doing to kids. The Columbine killers weren’t rap music fans (in no small part because they were very racist and hated blacks). Instead, they were into that heavy metal/industrial metal/goth rock music scene.

I am sorry, but the person who says that they won’t watch MTV because it’s all Rihanna and the Black Eyed Peas, but would turn it on if they were still showing Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Marilyn Manson needs to have their value system examined. MTV used to show “Yo MTV Raps” and “Headbanger’s Ball” back to back. Convincing yourself that the latter was in any way morally superior than the former is nothing but a delusion.

LMAO That is so true!!!!!! SAHAR DIKA BELONGS ON THE REAL WORLD BECAUSE SHE IS TRASH -She Is NOT a muslim and should not consider herself a muslim.. She is going Against everything that the Religion is about. THe only reason why she got casted is because she has a reputation of being a dumb whore that parties hard and thats exactly what they are looking for. How will her parents be able to show there faces every again when there daughter is on TV making out with black guys?
(not to be racist but that will make her family have a heartattache) man this girl gets Dumber by the day.
Stay with your christian boyfriend sahar because he is the only person who will marry you after this stunt.
