Two charged in driver’s license scam plead guilty

DETROIT (AP) — Two people charged in what authorities say was a scheme to sell hundreds of driver’s licenses and other fake identification documents to illegal immigrants have pleaded guilty in the case.
Ali Hawil, 34, of Dearborn, a Guinean citizen, and Daher Al-Mayahi, 37, of Dearborn Heights, an Iraqi citizen, entered the pleas Thursday to one count each of conspiracy to commit document fraud and one count each of visa fraud, prosecutors said.
Hawil and Al-Mayahi were originally charged with conspiracy to commit document fraud, and the visa fraud charges were added later, said Gina Balaya, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney’s office in Detroit.
Hawil and Al-Mayahi each face up to 15 years in prison and $500,000 fines when sentenced Oct. 14. Hawil already has been ordered deported to Guinea following his sentence, federal prosecutors said in a statement.
A criminal complaint against a third defendant, who was a Michigan Secretary of State employee, was dismissed in May. Authorities had said Barbara Wilke of Oakland County’s West Bloomfield Township issued many of the improper licenses and accepted money for allowing applicants to skip the mandatory written test.
The complaint against Wilke was dismissed without prejudice, meaning charges could be refiled, Balaya said.
The case was not believed to involve terrorism, authorities have said.

Funny, I don’t see Abu Moskowitz’s name anywhere in the article. Did Moskowitz’s buddy, “former” PFLP terrorist Imad Hamad, give the okay for this one? Regardless, this one indictment pales in comparison to the many similar investigations I know of, involving similar facts, which Abu Moskowitz has shut down. ONE token indictment in TWO years–in the heart of Islamic America–does not change the facts. In fact, it bolsters them.
The facts are: Abu Moskowitz, not me, has an agenda. The agenda is not to protect the safety of Americans and enforce the law. It is to do what it takes, however outrageous, to advance Abu Moskowitz’s aggressive career plans, at the expense of American security and safety. This involves his disturbing, close relationship with “former” terrorist Hamad–close to the point that he’s allowed Hamad to conduct his recruiting of Arabic speaking agents, including a close Hamad relative/associate (pressuring other agents to help hire this questionable candidate). Did you know Hamad was engaged in a sham marriage? That’s immigration fraud, something Moskowitz is supposed to be enforcing the law against–not hanging out with the law’s perpetrators and having them run ICE policy for Michigan and Ohio. (The other part of the agenda is to get as many new members of his harem as possible.)
Nowhere in his agenda is the protection of Americans from Islamic terrorism, money laundering, and illegal immigration. The numbers don’t lie–under Abu Moskowitz, more than 3/4 of all deportees are Latinos. In the heart of Islamic America, that’s clearly by design, pursuant to an illicit agenda–Abu Moskowitz’s agenda, of which you, “truth doesn’t sell,” are clearly part of the problem (you are obviously one of the few Moskowitz ICE agents to pander to him, the rest know better and despise it.)
Abu Moskowitz’s agenda is helping Abu Moskowitz, not America. Which side are you on, “truth doesn’t sell”? I think I know the answer, and it’s not the latter. Scary, since it’s obvious you are an ICE agent in the Detroit area.
