Yes, This IS America’s Future: Muslims Are Your Food Police

By Debbie Schlussel

Since Islam is mostly ripped off from Judaism and Christianity, it’s no surprise that religious Jews, like myself, do not eat or use any pig products.  Islam stole this practice from Judaism.

islamiccrescent.jpgnoalcoholnopork

But, unlike Islam, we Jews do not impose our religious requirements on anyone else.  We don’t insist that the rest of the world comply.  We keep our religion, and celebrate that you keep yours and live your life.  But not Islam.  Muslims want everyone to submit.  That’s why Islam means submission, forced submission.

It’s no surprise that Islamic law is dominating France.  That’s why, several years ago, I told you that French police began using government permits to shut down soup kitchens which served pork soup.  They didn’t want to offend Muslims.  Now, it’s getting worse, as the French prohibit pork AND alcohol from street fairs.  Again, this is done to pander and capitulate to Islam:

French police have banned a street party whose organizers planned to serve alcoholic cocktails and pork sausages in a heavily Muslim neighborhood of Paris, authorities said in a statement Tuesday.

Police said the party, called “Sausage and Booze,” could have been viewed as a provocation in the Goutte-d’Or neighborhood of northern Paris, where many Muslims pray on the streets because there are not enough mosques. Alcohol and pork are forbidden by Islam and the party had been slated for just after Friday’s main Muslim weekly prayers.

Organizers said they were holding the party to protest Islam’s encroachment on traditional French values in the neighborhood. Muslim groups had announced a counterparty serving halal, or religiously approved, food.

Think this can’t or won’t happen in America? Think again. It’s already happening. We are just a few hundred thousand Muslims away from doing what France is doing–and we’ll soon be caught up through Muslim birth and legal and illegal immigration to our shores.

And we’re doing nothing to stop it.

Little by little, piece by piece…
Something like this happened in the book I’m reading. Only, it was the Christkindlesmarkt in Germany that was shut down.

why and when was the Christkindlesmarkt shut down?

Since I follow the New Testament, all food is good!

I enjoy all food 🙂 Screw muzzies.

    Well, not “all food”.

Shy Guy on June 17, 2010 at 12:48 pm

      Food – eloquent explanation

There is a tradition that states that we Christians should obey all of the food ordinances. The New Testament clearly says that we are no longer subject to the food ordinances. Those who claim we are still bound by those ordinances must take the scripture and contort it to make it say what they wish. We will look at one passage many tend to twist to make us believe we are bound by the dietary ordinances of the Old Covenant. They take a scripture where Paul tries his best to say that we are not obligated to the food ordinances to make us liable under them. They twist this scripture to make it say the exact opposite of what it does say.

1 Timothy 4:1-6 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; {2} Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; {3} Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. {4} For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: {5} For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. {6} If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.”

Now, let us dissect. Let us try to leave nothing to the teachings of men or a man.

First, specifically Paul says that there will be a time when men will listen to spirits that will seduce some into departing from the faith, believing in doctrines of devils, hypocritical lies. I am not accusing anyone of doing the above things willingly, but they do happen. Paul applies this to several teachings of the Judaizers, including the dietary ordinances. (Those same men who preached adherence to the dietary ordinances also preached that one could not have salvation without circumcision). Those who teach that we are obligated to the dietary ordinances of the Old Covenant are the same as those who say we must be circumcised. They are “giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”

Let us take apart the phrase, “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats (????????? ????????–apechesthai brômatôn), which God hath created (? ? ???? ???????–ha ho theos ektisen) to be received (??? ?????????–eis metalepsin) with thanksgiving (???? ???????????–meta eucharistias) of them which believe and know the truth.” In the Greek, the verse reads literally like this: ????????? ?????? ????????? ???????? ? ? ???? ??????? ??? ????????? ???? ??????????? ???? ??????? ??? ??????????? ??? ???????? (“koluonton gamein apechesthai bromaton ha ho theos ektisen eis metalepsin meta eucaristias tois pistois kai epegnokosin ten aletheian” or “Forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believers and those knowing the truth.”)

Literally the Greek places the phrase “to be received” as part of the larger phrase “to be received with thanksgiving.” The words “to be received” are a part of the whole phrase, “to be received with thanksgiving”. The prepositional phrase, “with thanksgiving” modifies the verbal phrase “to be received”, and the whole adverbial phrase, “to be received with thanksgiving” modifies created. You cannot separate the two without altering the meaning of the whole verse. To state that the words, “meats to be received” means only those foods deemed clean by the Law of Moses is absurd. This requires that the statement be taken out of context. In context one must use the whole statement, “to be received with thanksgiving”. Taken in context and with no gerrymandering of the words, the statement is that all foods are provided to be eaten with thanksgiving.

Let us also define the Greek “eis metalepsin (??? ?????????)”. It literally means “to be taken.” A definition of taken is eaten. The modern usage of the English word “received” means something entirely different than “eaten.” It means to get something into one’s possession. When the KJV translators used “received”, they meant “eaten”. A definition of the word “receive” is “to eat” (see Merriam Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary, definition 8). Technically, the entire phrase “to be received with thanksgiving” literally means to partake of the Eucharist! How does one partake of the Eucharist? He eats the bread and drinks the fruit of the vine.

When taken out of context, the meaning is shaded to state that only certain foods are to be received. But that is not true. The verse says that ALL foods are created by God to be received with thanksgiving. As an added witness, let us look at verse 4.

1 Timothy 4:4 “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:”

That verse proves my point that all creatures are good for food if received with thanksgiving. It does not say, as some try to make it say, that every creature allowed by the food ordinances is good. Nowhere in the context does Paul refer to the Levitical ordinances concerning clean and unclean food. Instead, he refers to those teaching the false doctrine that we should only eat those foods deemed clean by the Law of Moses.

1 Timothy 4:5 “For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”

All food, every creature, is set apart by or made clean by God’s word and by prayer. Paul refers to the Word of God here. What is the word of God? Well in the Old Testament, it was the words written in the Torah. But now, under the new covenant where is God’s Word written? “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (Jeremiah 31:33) The Word of God is written in our hearts. We know in our hearts and by the scripture written here that all creatures are good for food. We are released from the law of clean and unclean foods by the New Covenant, that is, by the blood of Christ. We pray to God with our thanksgiving for our food.

The reason for clean and unclean foods in the Law is that those foods look forward to Christ for fulfillment. We are unclean unless sanctified by the blood of Christ. Unclean foods are a type of the unsaved in the world. Clean food is a type of those saved. We are saved not by something we did, but by what Christ did. What Christ did fulfilled the law and made all foods clean. In Christ we no longer need to worry about the clean and unclean. Christ makes all clean, if they choose to believe Him and accept Him. “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” (Matthew 5:17)

Here are some added witnesses. All discuss the ordinances of clean and unclean foods given in the Law of Moses. All say those ordinances have no effect of Christians:

Romans 14:3 “Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.”

1 Corinthians 8:8 “But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.”

Colossians 2:16 “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:”

Hebrews 13:9 “Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.”

This verse sums it up nicely:

Colossians 2:20-23 “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, {21} (Touch not; taste not; handle not; {22} Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? {23} Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.”

Paul asks why we should subject ourselves to the ordinances (including “taste not”, i.e. the dietary ordinances) when their use leads us to perish. That means that we cannot be saved by these ordinances so there is no need to keep them any more. Christ died for us and fulfilled the ordinances and they are of no account. So now they are just the commandments of men. They have an appearance of wisdom but are of no use (“not in any honour”) in resisting or restraining the flesh or sinful nature. So why follow them if they do us no good? In fact, they actually make us follow the traditions of men. If we are dead in Christ, we are dead to the world and its activities and no longer need to be concerned with the food ordinances.

      Addendum

The most important thing to remember about these food laws is what Paul says in Romans. We have noted what he said in Romans 14:3. Let me add Romans 14:6.

Romans 14:6 “He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.”

This simply says (we are only interested in eating) that the one who does not eat according to the food laws, eats his food at God’s pleasure and the one eats according to the food laws also eats his food at God’s pleasure. Neither one is condemned by God. Whether you abide by the food laws or not, either is acceptable to God and here is why:

Romans 14:17-18 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. {18} For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.”

What we eat or don’t eat is not the important thing. The Kingdom of God is not concerned with those things but with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. As long as we serve Christ whatever we eat or do not eat is acceptable to God.

Finally, we are not to dispute over these things:

Romans 14:19 “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Paul is basically saying here that we should not dispute or argue over such things as listed here, that is food, drink, and feasts. We should do our best to promote peace and unity among the Body of Christ. In any group of people there will be disagreements over such nonessential things. We are not to allow those disagreements to escalate into anything that would damage our Christian witness or credibility. Many churches have split over such nonessential things. We are to be peaceful toward one another and we must build each other up in the faith (and not tear anyone down).

Romans 14:20 “For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.”

We are not to argue about lawful or unlawful foods. That sort of thing may offend a weaker Christian and cause him to stumble. Even though, according to this verse, all foods are pure, we are not to allow any dispute over the food laws to interfere with our witness or to cause another to fall. We are not to argue over such things at all. God accepts either course of action.

Those of you who will not have fellowship with anyone who will eat supposed unclean meats are just plain wrong. You are causing dissentions in the Body of Christ. I have no argument with you. If you wish to follow the food laws, that is your prerogative and God will honor it. But do not condemn another who does not follow the food laws for God allows that as well.

Ever since Paul, Christians have been exempt from following Torah law. But the Christian understanding is the moral teachings from Mt Sinai still apply to all of mankind. The same one the followers of all monotheistic faiths have to follow. The believer has to set the example. And the government is there only to deter others from doing harm. Islam on the other hand, makes no distinction between the sacred and the temporal and that is why there is no separate of religion and state in any Muslim country. They are one and the same and they exclude any one who is not a Muslim.

The burqa has nothing to do with clothing.

First, it’s a cheap way to dress.

Second, they don’t wash them much and wipe on them.

        Third, it conceals contraband.

Fourth, it’s great for hiding men as women.

Five, it’s wonderful for committing robberies, murders, and other violent felonies.

It is a body mask and should be outlawed just as face masks are illegal. Muzzies are never about what they are about. And, everything they do is evil. They seek to devour, kill, and destroy. Christians know who that is..

It happened in a book called Caliphate. The interlude chapters detail the fall of Germany and the rest of Europe to radical Islam. In that particular chapter, the secular “coexist” type main character bemoans the closing of the Christkindlesmarkt. She wanted her daughter to experience it.

cirrus1701 on June 17, 2010 at 12:43 pm

I’m really not too surprised about this. Granted intolerance is inherent in Islam. Nevertheless, the PC of the last few decades has been paving the way for this sort of thing. We all know that PC restricts freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom to eat what you want (the food police), and this has paved the way for stronger restrictions. The Muslims are latching onto this; if PC had not been around the last few decades in the US and Europe, they would have had a much harder time.

Or it could have been viewed as a definitive example of “French culture”–LOL.

“Think this can’t or won’t happen in America? Think again. It’s already happening.”

Here in NYC, they’ve already banned smoking in bars and restaurants, and trans fats, and required restaurants to post the caloric content of all items. Now Mayor Bloomberg is talking about banning salt in prepared restaurant dishes, and the TSA is close to banning peanuts on U.S. flights because 1% of the population has allergies.

    The comparison is unfair.
Whether you consume transfats or not, you do not affect the health of the person sitting next to you by doing so.

That is not the case with cigarette smoke.

I’ve been enjoying smoke-free environments for years. It’s about time!

The difference Jewish dietary laws don’t bind any one but Jews. Muslim dietary laws are meant to be forced on every one, whether they like it or not.

So Islam wants to run YOUR life. And if you want to eat food or drink alcohol they don’t approve of what is worse is YOU can’t but THEY can – when they think no one is watching them.

That’s what will happen if we don’t put a stop to their coming here.

Are you up to more than one word statements now? Try reading the article for yourself. What is happening in France is not unique. Instances of such Islamist supremacism can be found in the United Kingdom, Holland, Germany, and elsewhere in Europe. The gradual imposition of Muslim dietary laws is spreading. France merely furnishes a more advanced example of this process. If you want a ready example of this in the United States, just look into what is happening in Dearborn public schools. The meal programs have been captured by the Islamists.

UK educational institutions have granted a Halal monopoly for two decades. Their thinking was: other religions either didn’t seek accomodation, or didn’t need it. Therefore Halal was made the default.

The depravity of that view is: Halal slaughter methods are cruel and primitive. Students would be offended if those were publicized.

Remember when Brigit Bardot was unpersonized for speaking out against Halal slaughters? Don’t pretend that Freedom of Speech is safe in Western Civilization.

Splank on June 17, 2010 at 3:53 pm

Halal slaughter is a Muslim rip off of Jewish ritual. Much of what’s in the Koran is really a bastardized and distorted version of Judaism, to which a large dose of Arabian fanaticism was added. The hatred of the Jews is because not only did the Jews ridicule Mohammed’s claims, they refused to accept anything that superseded the Torah. And of course ever since, the Muslims have been against the Jews.

“… and we’ll soon be caught up through Muslim birth and legal and illegal immigration to our shores.” Caldwell (“Reflections on the Revolution in Europe”) points out how Muslim immigrants actually accelerate the process (and hinder immigration) by seeking a spouse in the “home country”, then bringing him/her to the new colony. (Yes, that’s what it is. An Islamic colony.)

In response to MK750’s suggestion to “Now go get a nice KOSHER shwarma pita. Grilled lamb, Yummy.”, make sure it’s lamb. A lot of shwarma sold in Israel is actually made from chicken to keep the cost down. Definitely not as good.

To NormanF who writes, “Jews look in askance at pizza and cheeseburgers but they don’t try to ban any one else from eating those items. ” Jews do not look askance at pizza (note the number of kosher pizza joints in New York and Jerusalem). We just don’t put meat on it.

Shutting down soup kitchens that serve pork soup IS giving in to Moslem pressure. But it occurred to me that the organizers of the street fair WERE staging it in a Moslem neighborhood as a deliberate act of provocation-“Let’s remind the Moslem immigrants whose country and culture this is,” and the police didn’t want the organizers and vendors to be beaten to a pulp.

Miranda Rose Smith on June 18, 2010 at 1:49 am

Miranda, what’s wrong with a “provocation”? Just because a primitive will become violent if I live my life as I wish, do I then need to live someone else’s life?

The Johnny-come-latelys to the principles of a democratic republic (e.g., the Euros, UK, and Israel) simply do not understand this basic point.

The reason Muslims become “provoked” is because they expect others to be dhimmis. They are gravely insulted and “humiliated” when others refuse to comply. That is why I think we should actively seek to tell the truth about Islam and infuriate as many Muslims as possible. Then, we should make damn sure that the law is enforced when these Muslims violate the law.

skzion on June 19, 2010 at 4:31 pm

Perhaps. But no one in the Muslim neighborhood was forced to eat pork. Same thing if the cookout had been staged in a Jewish neighborhood. As long as no one is being forced to participate in some thing that goes against their beliefs, what other people do is their business.

The issue is a long standing one with the western world and that of the near east because the war has never ended people. The Persian Empire vs Roman Empire is ramping up again and this time Europe has let down her guard. This time its an enemy we cannot see as it can easily blend in with our fellow citizenry and can mimic our characteristics to findout secrets as well. The social weflare system is being abused in Europe to the point of lunacy cause when your an immigrant for the most part you are to contribute not to distribute to. This is the major issue with western democracy is recognizing our roots of christianity (e.g. catholics) to unite with the common name of christianity under the Roman Catholic Church and throw the other titles away for the time.
We need to call what it is an invasion. I went to college at my former university and heard of a student from Saudi Arabia attempt a rape of a british student. The muslims were hypocritics drinking in bars and smoking a chimmney up and laughing all the while. One talked about having a wife in Saudi Arabia and wanting to get one here. Another one tried converting me over and this all happening in little old Alabama. Imagine what is happening in more liberal states (e.g. California) with their superficial lifestyles and dumbed down brains. The less religious states is where I’d be worried about cause muslims have a strong foothold in such liberal states as California, Washington and Florida. However, look at the statistics about 20k convert to Islam per year out of a estimated 5 million or so muslims living here right now out of 310 million americans in only a short while. Caucasian women are converting the most out of everyoene even feminist. However, it seems to contridict itself with Islam and liberalism in that Islam with sharia law will eventually destroy itself in the end. Look at the burkas, nikabs, and hijabs with supression of homosexuality, descending religious views, pictures of Mohammud, Haul meat not pork, polygamy legalization, multiple offspring reproduction, etc. Its stupid that europeans with their great enlightened thoughts couldn’t see this one coming just shows you that intelligence doesn’t mean commonsense. Hopefully I’ll be dead by this time it invades to such an extent in the U.S.A
