Should Murderers Get Released When They’re Dying? No Way

By
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****
There’s nothing wrong with compassion. But compassion for convicted murderers is misplaced.
Take Carla Ringleka. In 1999, she and her extramarital lover paid two hitmen $450.00 to murder her husband of 31 years, Howard. They axed him to death. Carla Ringleka was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Now, she has terminal breast cancer (she was diagnosed in 2001), and her doctors say she likely will die within weeks. Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm wants the Michigan Parole Board to reconsider their recommendation against a medical commutation of Reingleka’s sentence and to grant an emergency hearing.

Carla Ringleka: Murderer Wants Medically Commuted Sentence

But Howard Ringleka didn’t get any kind of commutation of his brutal death sentence of being hacked to death by an axe. So why should his wife–who arranged his murder–get one? The purpose of sentences like hers–she got 20 years in prison–are to make people suffer for their crimes. Especially if they are murderers.
According to the Grand Rapids Press,

Howard Ringleka’s brother, Jerry, said he opposes the commutation and waiver of the 30-day waiting period. “She didn’t give my brother much of a chance,” he said, “so why should she get one? I’d let her rot in Hell.”

We agree. It may seem cold-hearted to say she should die in jail. But what she did to her husband was far more so. Do you agree?
****UPDATE: Convicted murderer Carol Ringleka died today. ****

Letting her go would set off a vicious chain reaction which would result in a ton more criminals appealing to their lawyers to get such actions in motion for themselves. I hope they stick with their original decision.

Debbie, I’m a gentle and G-d fearing soul. The only time I’m heartless, cold and brutal is towards murderers. Of course I want them to die! As far as I am concerned, whoever takes an innocent human life has forfeited his own right to live. And our Torah mandates capital punishment for murderers. Compassion for them is a perversion of justice. Carla Ringelka should be executed – preferably the way the Left killed Terri Schiavo.

Good riddance to her.
Just because a con develops a terminal illness while in prison does not mean an automatic commutation. LIBERALS keep telling us we’re a nation of laws (especially when they try to deter our fight against terrorism) but then they selectively disregard those laws when it comes to their bleeding heart compassion, when it comes to trying to overturn an election, or when it interferes with their agenda (free speech on college campuses, anyone? LMFAO!).
There were plenty of Mafia figures who developed fatal conditions while in prison, and not one of them was ever released prematurely. Lots of them died in prison – John Gotti, anyone? (Where’s the phony LIBERAL compassion for mobsters? LMFAO!)
Cop killers, gang founders, and America-haters are ALL celebrated by Hollywood, and are the subject of fundraisers, movies, demonstrations, websites, etc. LIBERALS always want those vermin released – so much for a nation of laws, as they hypocritically say so. LOL!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man! That’s classic! If only they had given Terri a couple more years, I’m sure she would have snapped out of it!

Excuse me if I’m not exactly grieving on hearing the news. When it comes to the righteous, my heart overflows with a sense of loss and I hate death. Every day, in my thoughts, I think I would like so much to see my mother and father again. My philosophy is to be cruel to the wicked and merciful to every one decent and loving and respectful of others.
When I made that observation, what lingered through my mind is how we are urged to give convicted murderers every benefit of the doubt and yet our country rushed with unseemly haste to put an innocent woman to death, denying her even food and water. That’s the first time in my entire life I felt ashamed of what our country had done and I never for a moment, considered the issue of someone’s right to live a “private family matter” as most people did. I don’t think we should judge someone’s humanity by whether they can tell us their thoughts and wishes. They still need to be loved no matter what and if we don’t do everything in our power to save an innocent life, our hands are full of blood. My view is we must always do right because G-d demands it of us.
The way Terri Schiavo died is something I never want to see happen again.

Did the state allow the release of the good Dr. Korvikian (sp?)? After all, he was just trying to help out and not “Murder” anyone, right?
Sick, slick, and always the politically savvy “moral” legislators.
(Re Schiavo: I don’t believe anyone will be able to explain to me why her husband, living with another woman, maintained the “medical rights” to her. Did he not wait until she had been put to death to remarry and carry on with his new wife and THEIR children)?

I’ll tell you why. Because after a divorce a man pays alimony. Lets say after so many years, and paying $800 for alimony to his ex, the man wins the lottery or he goes back to school, studies and gets a great job, is the woman entitled to more money? In some states yes, even after separation, because, marriage is a business.
Mr. Schaivo was Teri’s partner and he was still married to Teri. As for mr. Schiavo knocking up his girlfriend? It’s legal, adultery is not a crime. Or even if it is, it’s not enforced.

I don’t belive mr. schiavio had ANY financial obligations to Teri’s care. It was a hospice and I would believe Medicare/Medicaid would have been meeting her needs.
I would believe a first-year lawyer would be able to achieve a divorce without alimoney.
Her parents wanted the responsibility for her.
The chump did hit the lottery bud, he got to move on with his life and still still soak up his moments of fame. And true to form, he’s trying to get back into the hot spotlight.
