More College Football Players Get Away With Murder; Palestinian, Terror-Supporting Lawyer Helps

By
On Friday, “Invincible“–a great movie about 30-year-old bartender Vince Papale’s Cinderella story of becoming a Philadelphia Eagle–debuts. If I have one objection to this movie, it is Greg Kinnear’s portrayal of then-Eagles coach Dick Vermeil as such a nice guy.
In real life, Vermeil isn’t such a nice guy.
If he were, how does one explain his drafting of Ryan Tucker to the St. Louis Rams in 1997? At the time, Tucker and three other college football players nearly beat Bryan Boyd–a man half his size–to death for no reason. As detailed in “Pros & Cons: The Criminals Who Play in the NFL,” Boyd was read his last rites, and even though he miraculously survived, he is severely wounded to this day–with paralysis, memory loss, and permanent brain damage.

Dick Vermeil Jumpstarted Career of Attempted Murderer Ryan Tucker

When confronted by the press, Vermeil responded,

He [Tucker] can finish a fight. That’s a positive.

Nauseating.
Because Vermeil nonchalantly hired this attempted murderer who got away with it, Ryan Tucker has a great life, is a multi-millionaire, and will soon start his 10th season in the NFL.
Then, there are James King and Jerry Seymour, former Central Michigan football players, whom . While members of the CMU starting line-up, they and six other football teammates beat Demarcus Graham, 26, to death outside a bar. Originally charged with second degree murder, both will be out of jail in days because of absurd sentences handed down by Isabella County, Michigan Judge William Ervin. Sentenced to only months in prison, they are already claiming they have football scholarship offers to play at other schools.
Apparently, no-one minds that murderers are on the team, if they can score on the gridiron. It is incredible that murderer Seymour took a man’s life, and yet Isabella County Judge William Ervin sentenced him to only six months in jail with one month suspended. Ditto for King who was sentenced to six months with three of them suspended. Sickening. We note that King’s attorney had the chutzpah to protest this light sentence, insisting that King serve no jail time.

College Football Player Murderers James King, Jerry Seymour

& Palestinian, Terror-Sympathizing Lawyer Doraid Elder

More importantly, we note that Seymour’s lawyer is Palestinian activist and terrorism supporter Doraid Elder, who told Judge Ervin,

Jerry Seymour is not a cold-blooded killer.

Consider the source. To him, cold-blooded killers are never that. The old-world, Islamist “ends-justifies-the-means” philosophy fits in very nicely with murderous violence in college football.
Apparently, you can still get away with murder in America . . . if you can run the football. And if you have enablers like Dick Vermeil, Judge Ervin, and Palestinian lawyer Elder to help you out along the way.

Let’s not forget that Dick “Tears As Big As Horse Turds” Vermeil proliferated the career of career thug and woman beater, Lawrence Phillips. Vermeil was still the coach and went to bat for that drunk, dumb ass, Leonard Little who killed a mother and ehr daughter by running a red light at an intersection in St. Louis while intoxocated by more than 3 times the legal limit!!

Debbie
There are instances like this that are largely relagated to the deep pages of the criminal codling Leftist Judicial system. Could any human being in right mind (that’s important) read this story and NOT say how the heck do these scum get away with it!!??
Killing a human being in one instance and maiming for life another is abhoring. I’m shaking my head which is exploding after reading this. Oh the judgement that awaits these scum. I know that it takes some time before someone really gets their just deserts and many would probably agree it is not soon enough in these instances.
I would think they’re must some groups or organizations out there like MADD that people could connect with. Are there?

Brings to mind the case of 5 or 6 Cal State Fullerton football players who killed a US Marine outside a bar in Orange County, CA by taking turns kicking him repeatedly in the head after he was already on the ground. This occurred quite a few years ago. No charges were even filed by the county DA who I believe at the time was some RINO republican whose name I don’t recall at the moment. The so-called conservative Orange County Register didn’t utter a peep over this blatant mis-carrage of justice other than write a few dismissive “puff” pieces justifying the actions of the perpetrators as though gang killings by thug athletes were everyday excusable occurrences.

I was in the parking lot the night that marine passed and your facts are all wrong. It’s amazing how a story can grow with fabrication so far from the truth.

Run to his rescue, did you? Nauseating.

Hopefully the producers of ‘Invincible’ with Tim
Roth, which I think was one of the best, most
interesting and most recent movies about pre-Holocaust Germany, sue…Regarding the Philadelphia Eagles,it isn’t surprising they would hook up witha schmuck like Vermeil;the former team owner Leonard Tose tried to sue Atlantic City for pushing his gambling addiction over the edge.

Wow! I admire your bravery in attacking something sacred like football. Still, I question doing it. For instance, I have great reservations about what Mother Teresa did, but I rarely discuss them because I’m afraid that people will be less likely to listen to me on other topics. I wonder if you should be silent about pro football for the same reason.
Otherwise, keep up the good work!

I heard Kinnear was really good in this, maybe the guy wasn’t AS terrible back in day when he was a first year coach??

First is there is the huge umbrella of protection from the NFL, where atheletic talent comes before character. Of course there is the exception, but more importantly we are dealing with people who have large inflated egos and an IQ a tad bigger than their shoe size, or maybe a house plant.
You forgot to mention Ray Lweis Who is most notorious for murder. The bottom line is the bottom line it is all about the money, if a player produces and brings in the fans week after week he gets his reward more money.
College is just as bad, classic example is Maurice Clarette, played one year at OSU, took money lied to the Police and finally the NCAA could not protect him anymore and he was dumped. Now the players are saying , oh poor Muarice, well Maurice brought this on himself. Recently he was arrested on a weapons charge he had a couple of loaded guns in his car, as I said we are not dealing with Phi Beta Kappa’s here, these guys are dummer than dirt.

A population that fails to boycott criminals like Ryan Tucker has no credibility in complaining about terrorism.

Columbine 101 on November 19, 2009 at 3:56 pm

Columbine 101…where on earth do you bring terrorism into this? And do you not think that the “criminal” Ryan Tucker has PAID his dues? One thing most you schmucks fail to realize are the facts. Read all the papers and blogs you choose, but facts are being ignored!!! Ignorance at its finest, MEDIA!!!

Completely disgusted by ignorance on January 15, 2014 at 6:55 pm

According to the Wikipedia article, the victim Bryan Boyd “suffered paralysis, memory loss and permanent brain damage.” Tucker didn’t spend a single day in jail. The only one who is ignorant is you, and willfully so. Penn State and Steubenville must have made you as a football fan proud.
