Islamic Terrorist Writes Me: Will Ibrahim Parlak Finally be Deported?
Today, I got an interesting e-mail, below, from Ibrahim Parlak, an Islamic terrorist whom the government has been trying to deport for years. Parlak has developed a cadre of lefty celeb supporters, including Roger Ebert (who used a movie review to criticize me over Parlak). A James Bond director is even making a propaganda movie about him.

DHS Detroit office ask me to go see them June 1st. Your wish might finely be granted. and you better start looking for some thing other then Ibrahim to make you popular.
It’s unfortunate that Ibrahim believes his own press. But he was never what made my site popular, and I haven’t written about him in a while. His tale has never drawn a lot of traffic. I wrote about him because it’s an important story of the failure of our immigration system.
The thing is, Parlak should have been deported long ago. And while his e-mail gives hope, slimy liberal Republican Fred Upton and far-left Democrat U.S. Senator Carl Levin repeatedly introduce “private bills” to grant Parlak citizenship. That move usually stays deportation, so I’m not sure what’s going on here.
I’ve written a lot over the years about Parlak, currently a U.S. resident. The man trained in Syrian and Lebanese Islamic terrorist training camps. He was a member of the PKK terrorist group. Yes, he’s a Kurd. But while many Kurds are good people, some are not. It’s more nuanced than, “All Kurds are the good guys.” This guy isn’t. And while I have no love for the Turks (they could all die, and I wouldn’t miss ’em, since their once secular country has gone uber-Muslim), Parlak was involved in the murder of a Turkish border guard.
Parlak is a liar and he’s allied with some of the most extremist Muslims (redundant phrase). He came here and filled out at least five government applications in which he neither disclosed his PKK involvement, training in Islamic terrorist training camps, or his involvement with the border guard’s death. Then he took the usual route: he had an anchor baby with a woman he never married and opened a Middle Eastern restaurant (Cafe Gulistan) in Western Michigan. His thrice-disciplined attorney, Noel Saleh, is a Palestinian and, himself, an admitted monetary donor to Hezbollah. Saleh headed a Muslim-dominated Arab welfare agency, which aids and abets Muslim illegal aliens and helps pregnant Muslim aliens defraud Medicaid and have anchor babies here.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) has worked hard to remove Parlak from the country. But they’ve met with resistance from celebrities, politicians, and the mainstream media (including sympathetic “Nightline” and New York Times Magazine portrayals) every step of the way. This is despite the fact that the Immigration Judge Elizabeth Hacker wrote in a 60-page decision that Parlak is an Islamic terrorist and documented many of his transgressions. Then, the Bureau of Immigration Appeals court affirmed her decision, and so did the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
Through most of this, the Bush Administration pressured Homeland Security officials to treat Parlak with kid gloves, giving him lax reporting requirements and allowing him to keep his restaurant open for business. Parlak also couldn’t be deported because of the private bills Upton and Levin introduced. Last week, Parlak was even invited to testify before the Michigan Senate, where he has no business being. But sleazy Republican State Senator Ron Jelinek introduced a resolution to keep this terrorist on U.S. soil. (Yup, Michigan is sadly the anti-Arizona, with Republicans leading the charge.)
I hope Parlak will finally be sent away. But I’m not holding my breath. And it’s ridiculous how long he’s been allowed to stay and how nicely he’s been treated. It sends the wrong message, a message that has wreaked havoc on this country and forced Arizona to enforce the law and get rid of people like Parlak quickly.
Parlak literally has spent years gaming the system. If we have to go through the same trouble and expense for every illegal alien or even a significant fraction, we will never get the illegal alien problem under control. Sadly, we do have to go through it for far too many illegal aliens, and that’s part of why many of them are still here. They laugh at us, play games, and get away with it.
I wish I could say “Game Over,” regarding Parlak. But I think it may be more wishful thinking. The people at Homeland Security may actually tell Parlak he can stay.

I do think he will be allowed to stay. Our dhimmi politicians and media want to kiss up to a Muslim – the politically correct thing to do.
If Ibrahim Parlak had been any one else, he would have been deported a long time ago.
And yes, its the wrong message to send to America.
