Your Tax $s @ Work: Palestinian Kiddies’ Laptops Help Modernize HAMAS’ Future

By Debbie Schlussel

Here are a few figures that tell a story about the much touted charity “One Laptop Per Child” (OLPC), which your tax dollars subsidize:

Your Tax Dollars Usher in HAMAS’ Online Future

Number of free laptops OLPC delivered to Palestinian Muslim kids in HAMAS Gaza, Fatah West Bank, and Lebanon:

At least 7,450

Number of free OLPC laptops paid for to be delivered in the future to Palestinian Muslim kids in HAMAS Gaza, Fatah West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan:

500,000

Number of free laptops OLPC delivered to poor Israeli Jewish kids in Sderot, Jerusalem, the Negev and other locations in Israel:

0

Number of free laptops OLPC delivered to poor kids in Detroit, Michigan:

0

Number of free laptops OLPC delivered to poor kids throughout the U.S.:  16,400

Not only are your tax dollars subsidizing and financing this, they’re doing it twice.  First, there’s the tax deductible status of OLPC.  Then, there’s the fact that the Palestinian terrorist kids’ computers are paid for by UNRWA, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugee in the Near East, the Palestinian-specific UN agency paid for mostly by your tax dollars (the U.S. is the largest donor to this agency).

More on how your taxes subsidizee HAMAS curriculum, enabled by computers:

Today in the city of Rafah (19 miles south of Gaza City), officials from OLPC, UNRWA and other NGOs and donors, local dignitaries, parents, teachers and children are celebrating the deployment of the first 2,100 XO laptops at the Rafah Co-Education Elementary School D. Along with OLPC and UNRWA, the deployment is also supported by the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) and the Office of the President (Mahmoud Abbas) of the Palestinian National Authority.

OLPC has worked closely with UNRWA on teacher training and the development of localised software and content for the XOs. 200 teachers have already been trained and more than 150 electronic learning modules are being adapted for use on the XO. OLPC and UNRWA are also collaborating on the formatting of electronic textbooks and workbooks for an entire primary school curriculum.

Rafah is also the city of HAMAS weapons and IED-smuggling tunnels.  And keep in mind that it’s well documented that most of these schools are operated by HAMAS, with many of the teachers moonlighting as HAMAS terrorists. And they teach the kids the philosophy of HAMAS (or in the “West Bank,” Fatah/PLO) to the kids. These computers are now another tool in their terrorist plots.

And you have to wonder why OLPC  has chosen Palestinian kids, most of whom support Islamic terrorism, as the largest ever recipient group of its laptops.

So, whether or not you can afford a laptop for each of your kids, America is paying for 500,000 laptops to be delivered to Palestinian kids, many of whom are in refugee camps in Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, where they will–cradle-to-grave–be trained to become Islamic terrorists (not to mention the same in Gazastan and the so-called “West Bank”).

Think these computers won’t be used for terrorist networking?

Think again.  Your tax dollars at work, enabling the online communications of future and present Islamic terrorists.  Congrats.

Oh, come on, it’s called winning hearts and minds, at least that’s what the goal should be. In my opinion, and I happen to own one, these laptops are so horribly bad that, if anything, they will sabotage the cause of any organization they are given to! The real story is not why we are giving them to some poor kids in the occupied territories, but why are we funding the giveaway of these particular crappy notebooks if the goal is to help these kids with their education? If we wanted to help these kids, we should fund the giveaway of Intel Classmate notebooks because they are inordinately better.

Steve on May 3, 2010 at 1:47 pm

[Debbie – Think these computers won’t be used for terrorist networking?]

What worries me even more is that the computers may be used as part of the actual acts of terrorism.

Steve – You are nuts if you think they are going to like us more because of these. As for your wanting to give them even better laptops, why not go even further and pay for all their High School graduates to go to IVY League schools when many American families cannot send their own children to school.

I_AM_ME on May 3, 2010 at 1:59 pm

No, Steve is not nuts. He apparently thinks that all of this is perfectly alright, but is too cowardly to say so in a straightforward way, so he engages in adolescent mockery. Stevie will be quite pleased when the mayhem happens, even if he masks its expression with sarcasm.

    Sorrow01 on May 3, 2010 at 3:28 pm

Steve you need to educate yourself more on the Islamic religion.
Islam is a three part system, it is a political, religious and military system. The leader Mohammad was a fierce military leader.

Do a search on Youtube under the name Craig winn, and watch his videos.
Read the book Prophet of doom.
http://www.prophetofdoom.net it is downloadable free.
Once you understand Islam you will understand the strategy of these people to take over through World Domination then you will be able to truly informed on what is going on.
We are in trouble in the west unless we understand their mindset and beat them at their own game.
We are blindly letting them take over this country because of PC.
For the sake of your children and your grandchildren please educate yourself and others around you.

Cynthia:

Steve can’t believe what he is posting, can he?

He can’t be serious. They have NO HEARTS and no one wants their minds.

goldenmike4393 on May 3, 2010 at 2:39 pm

We need to spend the money to educate them on Islam, the religion of satan. We need to educate them on how to break free of the bondage and darkness they live in. Until that is done nothing you do is going to help them..

Dona on May 3, 2010 at 2:40 pm

And someday she will be forced to wear a burqua and get delegated to a second class person. Open her eyes to the world then setting the little one back to the stone ages.

CaliforniaScreaming on May 3, 2010 at 2:52 pm

And for that matter, giving someone a crappy laptop can turn almost anyone into a terrorist. Think how you feel after a few futile reboots. A disaster in the making…

Bill Roberts on May 3, 2010 at 3:10 pm

Can we remind you of your smug remarks when a child on a bus has his hand blown off or a pregnant woman is torn to pieces in a blast. Will it be all laughs then Mr. Chuckles?

    Sorrow01 on May 3, 2010 at 3:22 pm

The Palestinians get high technology even though they haven’t produced ONE high technology contribution you hear about in the media…. unless its more sophisticated ways to kill people.

So this this is what OLPC is going to help make happen with our tax dollars. Its not enough the Hamas barbarians had Katyushas and Scuds. Now its laptops!

And we don’t have to wonder why the West is giving a high education to the kids who will grow up to kill us someday.

NormanF on May 3, 2010 at 3:53 pm

G-d exists. Virulent anti-Semite and Israel hater Lynn Redgrave was taken off this earth today. You know where she went, Debbie. Its long overdue and I don’t really miss her!

NormanF on May 3, 2010 at 3:57 pm

NormanF – I don’t think Lynn Redgrave was an anti-semite. It is her Mother, Vanessa Redgrave that is the b*tch who deserves an extremely violent death.

Jackie Mason did a (VERY) short lived TV series with Lynn Redgrave and I don’t think he would have done it with her were she an anti – semite.

    I_AM_ME on May 3, 2010 at 4:56 pm

Vanessa Redgrave is Lynn’s older sister, not her mother. FYI.

Mike on May 3, 2010 at 5:31 pm

I stand corrected. Its too bad she’s still alive and kicking!

NormanF on May 3, 2010 at 7:08 pm

Hate to say it, but who wants to bet some of these will be confiscated then wind up as IED controllers. That seems to be all Palestinians know how to do.

In contrast, an Israeli will take one, and loop it into a car’s onboard computer so it will run on water or air.

Give one to a spoiled American (or an illegal alien 🙁 ) and he’ll whine because he can’t play Halo on it.

John on May 3, 2010 at 4:08 pm

I think the whole concept is quite bizarre. Illiteracy, segregated and inferior schools, and many other factors are things that should be addressed, rather than shoving a laptop in front of some kid. OLPC really smells fishy as an organization, since the only people who seem to benefit are the outfits the make the laptops and the organization itself. Educating groups and societies takes years if not generations to accomplish, and this process will not be accelerated by the introduction of “toy” technology.

Sorrow01 on May 3, 2010 at 4:36 pm

    true

justSomeDudefrmLondon on May 4, 2010 at 4:13 pm

John – I was thinking along the same lines, but they could also be teaching their martyr-to-be children how to turn their laptops into explosive devices. Who is going to take away a toy laptop from a poor little innocent muslim kid?

Jarhead on May 3, 2010 at 4:50 pm

We have “nothing” Islam wants. Global control, death to the infidel, and the extermination of the US along with Israel. There is no “dialog” or “negotiation” with these people- that thought-process is for looney lefties. In fact, as a sovereign nation, we should eschew any UN initiatives like a dose-of-clap, and say sayonara. But that would take real balls.

Patrick on May 3, 2010 at 4:51 pm

It’s not enough that the Palestinians are already the most privileged “refugees” in human history. More aid per capita and more Red Cross personnel assigned per capita. Their very own UN agencies, and regular conferences on their behalf. The inevitable “donors conference” to help them rebuild after they provoke, and lose, a war. Now they’re getting free laptops!

The fact is the average resident of Gaza lives better than most Egyptians; the average resident of the West Bank lives better than most Jordanians.

Raymond in DC on May 3, 2010 at 5:13 pm

Yessir, words mean their opposite, just like 1984. “Deomcracy” means chaos and terror; “building schools” in Iraq which the Pentagon and press touted means constructing terrorist cells, “free elections” means dictatorial control, and so on. The Shah was head and shoulders above any of the people in the Mideast (excluding Israel). Every country seems to act in its interests except the US, but maybe we are, indeed acting in the elite’s interests.

Little Al on May 3, 2010 at 5:27 pm

I_AM_ME: It’s quite a stretch to go from donating a few thousand notebooks to financing their education in the United States. No, I’m not in favor of free education at US private colleges for foreign nationals.

Sorrow01: Yes, I am okay with the UN donating a few thousand notebooks to the Palestinians. No, I am not happy when there are terrorist incidents in Israel. They make me sad.

Cynthia: I think maybe you’re a little paranoid there. But out of curiosity, what do you think that I should do to resist the Muslim takeover of the world?

NormanF: Do people actually use notebooks as controllers for an IED? A quick Google search did not turn up any cases of notebooks being turned into IED controllers.

John: Is there any evidence of that? IED controllers, really?

Steve on May 3, 2010 at 6:52 pm

“Oh, come on, it’s called winning hearts and minds, at least that’s what the goal should be. Are you trying to back out of what you said before? It has been documented.

    Worry01 on May 4, 2010 at 1:45 am

As stated earlier, the left believes that ultimately, Islam will join them against whites, capitalism and Christianity.

at least it comes in ha,as green sp the bomputers can match the drapes

slick willie jihd on May 3, 2010 at 7:37 pm

Another excellent post, Debbie.

JeffE on May 3, 2010 at 8:04 pm

Steve,

No evidence of notebooks being used to trigger IED’s? Standby; they will find a way to do it. They can take about anything and improvise it enough to make it do what it wasn’t designed to. I’m glad to see all my tax money getting flushed down the tank instead of pumped back into the economy to create jobs, I mean, GOOD paying jobs instead of $6-$8/hour bullshit jobs that you can’t even afford to pay attention off of.

Our nation has evolved into an abysmal state, led by an islamo-pandering leftist administration with non-native born US citizen running it.

G-d help us!!!

IceNoMore on May 4, 2010 at 12:29 am

Well, let’s see, the Internet has been used to put up jihadist websites, communicate with fellow terrorists abroad, store data on various ways to construct weapons, etc. Yes, those laptops are just completely harmless, especially since they are designed for wireless access to the web.

Worry01 on May 4, 2010 at 1:48 am

Steve, you don’t need evidence, just look at the pathology and look past the veil of political correctness. If it can be used to kill people, the Muslim terrorists will find a way.

John on May 4, 2010 at 10:57 am

im a 17 yr old muslim and i dont live in the US. i have some questions for you guys cuz im trying to understand your viewpoint here…

some of you obviously hate anti-semites-
“It is her Mother, Vanessa Redgrave that is the b*tch who deserves an extremely violent death”-

but at the same time you all think thatit is okay to hate islam based on your perception that it is some kind of dark, dangerous and scary religion that promotes ‘the killing ‘ of infidels (lol).

now if u look at other religions such as christianity i think there was similar rethoric used way, way, back (crusades, killing muslim heathens etc, etc,) but you don’t see anyone try to portray christianity as a violent extremist faith…because its not.
now there are always going to be lunatics and extremists everywhere but some of the comments are just ignorant. do u really believe that around 20% of the world are infidel-bombing
jew-hating crazy terrorists?

all i see here is mostly ignorance and hate. imagine if all this was aimed against christians or jews how hould YOU feel about that??

justSomeDudefrmLondon on May 4, 2010 at 4:09 pm

You, Dude from London, just took everyone on this hate-riddled website to school.

You get some applause, and if I had the time, a cookie in the mail.

gunDy on July 13, 2010 at 4:07 pm

Oh people of Israel, you who are morally blind, who kill and destroy and make life miserable for your neighbors. You are unable to feel empathy or mercy for the weak, oppressed and downtrodden. It is alien to your hearts.
Unfortunately, the world underestimated your spiritual darkness and the cold heartedness of your apologists make a mockery of truth and justice .
Each terrible act you commit, the brightness of your spirit dims until it become like a dead thing. When that light goes out, you will be no better than the wild beasts of the jungle.
As for being the “chosen people”, do you seriously think God would keep you after the things you have done to his other earthly children ?
God knows what is in the hearts of men, otherwise, as the philosopher Pythagoras said, “ Life would be a feast to the wicked and death a godsend, were it not for the immortality of the soul “.
Look within yourselves, it is never to late to soften your hearts and break away from the collective evil you are caught up in.
Remember, you will reap what you sow. God will not be mocked.
