Another way to look at these off balance prisoner exchanges…Isnt it funny how the Palestinians value 300 palestinian prisoners (or rather bombers) as an even exchange for 3 dead israeli soldiers?
I remember reading other exchanges where 2-3 Israelis are released in exchange for a hundred or more Palestinians. This is the “exchange rate” the palestinians seem to accept.
This places a pretty low value on their lives…

There is still no such thing as a ‘Palestinian’. A big part of this problem lies in this fact. If you check your middle east history, you will find that this land was BOUGHT by Jews from the Turks who owned all the land. I served in the IDF., and I can verify that a good arab is dead arab. Friends of Israel, there is so much going on behind the scenes that we must grasp the larger picture if we are to make sense of the smaller details and daily events in Israel.
There is a spiritually demonic plan, aided by SStateDept individuals including Bush, to bring about a Final Holocaust upon the Jewish people, as an increasingly smaller and squeezed Israel is being replicated into a walled Warsaw for the final assault upon the Jews.

I agree with most of the content of the article and understand the emotion of the posters. Consider this. Israel pretty much does whatever the hell they want when their backs are against the wall despite what the US says. We don’t pull their strings nor should we. We just have to make it look good by asking for “restraint”. It’s just the usual diplomatic bullshit.
Israel, being a modern country with modern values has to take the high road and not stoop to the level of the Muslim savages. If they did they would simply kill every living thing in Gaza.
Neither the Palestinians nor the Arabs will ever “wipe Israel off the map”. That is just hollow boasting. They will simply continue to sting them with bombings, kidnappings and rocks because that is all they can do. Israel should continue it’s program of measured responses since that is really the only thing they can do until some sense comes over the Muslim world. For right now I would freeze the evacuation of the settlements.

I don’t know about the rest of the readers here but I cringe when I see the symbology of the SS applied to an American governmental office. Any individuals within those offices who aid and abet terrorism against Israel should be sought out and dealt with accordingly (Debbie does a terrific job of this all by her self). The symbology bothers me though because thousands of Americans and her Allies gave their lives to rid the world of such evil. It seems to dishonor their memories to have it attached to anything American. It’s kind of like the “AmeriKKKa” we used to see here.
Having said that, I know their are millions of Americans, myself included, that consider any threat to Israel as a threat to all of us. It’s way past time for Christians (Protestants and Catholics) and Jews to stand together against a common enemy. As I understand it, they should anyway since Christians are a vine grafted into the tree (through belief, and consequently, salvation) via the Jewish people.
Israel should have every right to defend herself from those who attack her just as any other sovereign nation would. It is very frustrating when some of our political leaders don’t seem to agree with that. The simple truth is that appeasement to the terrorists, whatever their stripe, will not work. We’ve seen that over and over again in Israel, Europe, and most recently with the be-heading of a Russian. The only way they can be dealt with is through brute force. They themselves insist on that. I suggest Israel, the U.S., and Allies do so while they still can.

Sorry friend, but you need to do your homework regarding the history of the ‘SS’tateDept, and then perhaps you’ll understand why I label them as I do. Why you would defend an agency that harbors Marxists, globalists, Nazis and secular humanists, is evidence that you need to come out of your coma and seek the truth.
If you are a Christian who believes in the Bible, then you should know that God entered into an ETERNAL land deed, made in blood, with the Jewish people in Genesis 15 re: the true borders of Israel. (You should read it.) God doesn’t break His word or His covenants EVER!
God’s eternal land covenant with Israel is still in force even though Israel does not currently have the land borders that God defined. Doesn’t matter, His covenant is NOT to be messed with. Read Joel 3:2 to see what happens to men and nations who “divided my (God’s) land.” Bush is going to stand before the Creator in a special judgment for his plot to “divide” the land of Israel.
And please don’t defend Bush’s alleged ‘christianity.’ This is a man who says he prays to “the same god that the Muslims do.” This is a man who also said, “God told me to create a nation for the Palestinians.” Really? By carving it from God’s own eternal covenant? Then I guess God changed His mind and broke His own word which proves that Bush is insane and probably hearing from Lucifer!
