Islam Wishes You a “Happy” Easter
As Christians celebrate Easter, today, and I and other Jews continue to celebrate Passover, Islam has provided us a stark reminder that we are at war–despite Barack Hussein Obama’s claim to the contrary–with Islam for the very reason that we want to be able to continue to maintain our freedoms. And as we know, Islam prescribes that they be taken away, including–and especially–our freedom of religion. Keep that in mind, as you observe your holiday.
But in case you forgot, Muslims in Spain provided you with a reminder as they invaded a Catholic Cathedral–Mezquita Catedral de Cordoba–and tried to assert Islam over Christianity in Cordoba. Seven Muslims, who came to Spain from Austria, tried to pray to allah inside, and two of them violently fought with church security when they asked them to leave. The Muslims went there deliberately, even though they knew that Muslims and Muslim prayer rites are forbidden inside the church. And they chose Good Friday for a reason.
Yes, the church was, centuries ago, a mosque until 1236. It came with the Moorish invasion, and it became a Church when King Ferdinand III captured that land back from the Muslims.
But here’s a little primer on Islam’s view on mosques, churches, and synagogues: Once a mosque, always a mosque and subject to war and violence if it becomes anything else. Once a synagogue or church, definitely open for takeover–violent or however necessary–as a mosque.
The Al Aqsa Mosque is built on top of the holiest site of Judaism, the holiest part of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. There’s a reason it’s location is called “The Temple Mount”–because it’s built on top of the Jewish Temple. The Al-Umayyad mosque in Damascus, Syria was a Catholic Church, taken over after the Arab conquest of the area and, as with the Jewish Temple, a mosque was built on top of it. Yes, it’s the same mosque, where pandering Pope John Paul knelt in 2001, as he went to pay a fawning visit to the human rights abusing, murderous Assads.
But if a building was a mosque eight centuries ago and is now a church, like the one in Cordoba, well, Muslims will send you an Easter message on Good Friday: the message of violence they sent all the way from Austria.
The Christians made one mistake, keeping the word mosque–or “mezquita”–in the title of the Church. While I understand it’s their way of showing the Muslims their one-time mosque is now a church and has been for centuries, they shouldn’t even keep a vestige of Islam in the name. Not that that would stop this kind of Islamic assertion and violence in Christian establishments on Christian holidays.
That’s a regular feature of Islam everywhere, every day . . . regardless of what the building used to be.

Do the Turks allow Christians to pray in the Hagia Sophia? They do not. Can Jews pray on the Temple Mount (now under Waqf control)? In your dreams! They can be, and regularly are, arrested if they even look like they might be praying.
