What it takes is for DS to keep publicizing these stories, and for the public to become “one-issue” on this matter. It wouldn’t hurt if some illegal ran over a celeb, either, I guess.
It will also take media types and the general public to get in the face of our wretched politicos to pin them down on this matter–and that means no more Team D and Team R. Basically, they are ALL scum, and moronic pro-Bushies like Hannity et al. are just tools.
Time for a new breed, and term limits.

Debbie: Looks like it’s going to take (as Red Ryder noted) one of these “undocumented workers” (can’t call them “criminal illegal aliens,” of course) obliterating one of the President’s daughters in a hit-and-run accident. And even then, it’ll be spun to place some of the blame on her; after all, political correctness demands that every real citizen of this country feel guilty over having the good fortune to live here, instead of Mexico or Central America.
The law, as you should know, is a meaningless abstraction. In the real (P.C.) world, we simply MUST take these people in, since sending them back would mean they would lose their cradle-to-grave taxpayer-funded lifestyle, and we can’t have that, can we?

It seems like this points to the underlying problem of the need for “regime change” in the US. I don’t mean a change in the US Constitution or anything like that. Rather I mean getting back to actually living by the Constitution and the law of the land. To do that, I think we have to sweep out all the politicians currently in office at all levels, every last one of them. We then have to put in place strict term limits of one term only in every office so that you would have to do what you came to do with no idea of getting re-elected. The system as we have it now is entirely broken and corrupted; it will not enforce the laws because it is not to the benefit of the law makers to do so. This has got to stop!!

You are absolutely right. All of these rotten bums should be thrown out, and strict term limits put in.
I’m in the DC area, I interact with the govt a lot, and I can tell you from personal experience that even the better ones (elected officials) are no good. At the very least, they are all–every single stinking one of them–imbued with the idea that the government is the answer to every problem.
That notion cuts across all lines. The term “conservative” used to mean limited government. Let me assure you that NO ONE in Congress believes this at the present time.
These days, a “conservative” is simply a socialist for his own causes. Wasting money (at least 30 percent of the DOD budget) on the military is no better than wasting it on social welfare, is it?

Aggressive coverage of all negatives, such as Sen Craig lewd conduct, Hillary Clinton fund raising issues, etc etc
Since the vast majority of them are dirty, this will not be very hard.

Thanks for the report and the punch in the nose DS. I thought this was indeed the case for illegals’ getting DL’s based on all that I have come to understand about how we cater to them here in our country. It is to an even greater degree in Michigan which is also called the State of Confusion. There is no way we could possibly have 15-20 million illegals here if we were not greasing the skids with these negligent/enabling policies.
Doing the obvious would end most of this kind of thing. Consider—I go to buy a car–I can’t drive it off the loat until I have insurance–I can’t get it registered with out insurance etc. We have all kinds of methods to stop the THE THINGS WE WANT TO STOP. I get pulled over (seems like the police are set on some kind of ticket writing crusade lately)–they always check out if I have my registration and proof insurance–was I buckled up etc. HOW can they ignore legal residency status at the Secretary of State and at law enforcement like this?
We all need to get our minds together on how to bring about the changes we need made to let our cash-confiscating/redisributing pols know we are not putting up with this any more. Couldn’t we launch a grassroots petition drive to call for real immigration law enforcement–a law to say one must prove legal status when applying for a driver’s license, a prperty deed or a rental lease. If someone gets a traffic citation, it is just natural that we should check legal status at that point as well. Another occasion is when someone gets a job (legally) to have a database checked SSN with photo ID –which should only be given to those who are here legally etc. If I send in a form with one digit wrong on a tax report as an employer–the IRS is all over it right away. So…how do these illegals continue to go unchallenged to the point of protesting our nation in the streets and such?

A celeb WAS hit and killed along with his son in Malibu recently, didn’t make any difference, he was a noted Hollywood Producer. I could tell you what it takes but no one seems to have noted my previous posts on this topic, so who cares? It happened to me and my girlfriend but we survived and that was decades ago, nothing has changed and it isn’t ICE that is dropping the ball.

I am aware of that case, and was sad to see that it did not affect a damned thing–yet.
Two good moves..
1. Heavy crim charges for those who employ illegals
2. Get rid of all incumbents, and install stiff term limits
If item 1 happens, then those who benefit from the employment of illegals (school districts, medicaid mills, banks, etc.) will have nothing more to support in this area.
As a fairly knowledgeable student of American history, I can tell you that the current traitorous actions of our leadership match up with anything in the past.
Illegal immigration and the insidious establishment of Islam values in the US must be key issues in this election cycle

Heavy criminal charges for drugs did nothing to stem the flow of drugs into the country. Heavy criminal charges are helpful but won’t stop employers just move the dirty part of the employment process further away from the others, for instance middlemen, independent contractors, temp firms, employee leasing ect.
KISS – Keep It Simple Stupid – is the right approach, the devil is in the details.
I saw this kid taking driver’s licenses from illegal criminal aliens that were being booked into the dentention facility. I asked him, “What are you doing with the DLs?” What happens with the process if you promote or leave? Is everyone doing this?
The point is, that it was a great start but you have to bundle the DLs and send them to the right person at the state DMV who then needs to key the suspensions into the data system to keep the illegal alien from simply paying the $10 fee for a duplicate.
You need the alien to show proof of legal residency AND provide DHS access to the centralized database for legal residences to get a duplicate DL (Simple- just give them a password) that way they don’t have to become experts just has a starting point from which to verify what their looking at…
Any breakdown all the way, and the whole system fails. We need institutionalized adherence and accountability for the smallest details in the process from local, state, and federal levels.
You do this by starting with commonsense, driving is a privilege, so is using the bus, you can’t behave or follow the rules that is not our problem- lives are at stake and the no one seems to understand know how to communicate the most basic principles in law enforcement to lawmakers and management. The devil is in the details. Laws are already on the books that make enforcement possible if we quit reacting to really poor press coverage like someone caught us naked.

Vincent D’Anna was a close friend of the family, he is truely missed, his tribute all of his fellow officers gave him, and his friends, was one of the most heart felt funeral services my family has attended, he was a wonderful young man, whose only dream was to be a police officer to help people, pray for his brother and mother, they are both pretty much still in shock.
What I wanted to say about one of your post regarding fining employers for hiring illegal aliens is, we have a second home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Last year they passed a law finally that anyone hiring an illegal alien we be fined the first time, bigger fine and possibly jail time the second time around. I am proud of the City of 50,000. Almost 1/2 or more doing the construction, landscaping you name it, my son got layed off from his construction framing position, because his boss told him, he could hire three illegals for what it cost him to hire my son.

Amazing it has been three since this happened. And we still have this problem. I work at the hospital Vincent D’Anna was taken to and was on duty that night. Ever since then I have been advocating for deportation of illegals and against amnesty. No change. None. Sad.

Debbie: Last week in Rochester HIlls and illegal immigrant in Rochester Hills entered a Meijers store, got into an aisle with a young female looking at pillows. He pulled out his genitals and masturbate next to her dropping his load on the floor. She saw it ran off and the guy fled. After publishing surveillance video on the news a guy called after recognizing the man as his neighbor. He was picked up by the Sheriff’s Office and arrested. The judge at 52-3 released the man on “personal recognizance” The deputy called ICE and advised them he was a sexual predator and they finally picked him up and deported him back to San Salvador. “Personal recognizance for illegals” Really?? Our government is to blame for these atrocities.
