This is disturbing. We should have blown that junk off the launch pad. It’s a danger to the PLANET that Iran could’ve launched ANYTHING. Ohhhhhh boy.

He promised something spectacular on Feb. 11 that would astound the World so that it will never be the same again.
Even taking that statement with a large hunk of salt, it’s probably related and I wouldn’t be to cavalier in my assessment of this ridiculous seeming event. It’s either capable of doing more than we think and it will, or the US better watch out for “falling” space junk with a surprise inside, next week because programming a landing is pretty basic.
Debbie, you’re not being fair to rodents. Some of them are kinda cute. I would have said the worms.

As for Iran and their “space program:” Europe better be afraid. VERY afraid. As for Israel, I’m sure they are watching this very carefully. One thing I really respect about Israel is that they do not stick their heads in the sand and pretend that the rest of the Middle East wants peace – or at least most of them don’t. I only pray that when the Israelis take action against Ahmembersonlyjacket Obama will stand with them instead of against them.

Its about taking a stand against evil and destroying it. Sadly, that’s a message that’s not politically correct today. But in light of what Iran is doing, its one that urgently needs to be heard – more than ever.

The UN Security Council says that Iran has violated five UN resolutions. This probably doesn’t concern the UN too much. Iran has a long way to go to match all of the resolutions that Iraq ignored.

The UN is more than just a complete joke, it is dangerous. Kick them out of the U.S. and let them go mooch off of some other county, like Somalia or the UAE, since the UN loves muslims so much. The U.S. does not need the UN. NATO is probably the only military machine that the U.S. can somewhat trust and depend on for assistance.

It seems almost everybody in the MSM is obsessed about Iran developing a ‘ballastic missile’ (that would nuke a single city). What we really need to worry about is Iran/North Korea exploding a nuke several hundred miles above the US, generating an Electromagnetic Pulse that would fry almost every circuit/chip in the country. This is a much more likely scenario than the absurd idea of nuking a single American city

As Gandalf said in “Return of the King”, “The board is set. The pieces are moving.” Unfortunately, while Iran is playing Chess, we’re playing tiddly-winks. Or is it poker? No matter our hand, after a pro forma bluff, we fold.

We indeed should be concerned about an EMP attack, given the potential damage of a single detonation. And we should be concerned about what we *don’t* know about Iran’s capabilities. At a meeting of the EastWest Institute on May 19, 2009, the “experts” declared, “There is no reliable information at present on the state of Iran’s efforts to develop solid propellant rocket motors and therefore no basis on which to make an assessment.” Iran launched the solid-fueled Fajjir the very next day!

What is President Obama doing now? Are we going to hear about his “regret” or “disappointment” when Iran starts launching lethat payloads in Israel’s direction? Mr. Obama seems more concerned about an Islamist having a hangnail at Guantanamo, than protecting Israel of the United States.

Also, people need to realize that the technology needed to produce an intercontinental ballistic missile is about 50 years old now. Iran is slow and dull, but even that government will eventually succeed in its efforts. I do not trust the Chinese or Russians in this area, especially since they tend to think in the short term strategically.

If we had taken seriously Ronald Reagan’s R&D effort into the Star Wars Defense policy, who knows what type of technology we would have now. This would have been a perfect way to show Iran who the big dog is. I don’t look for the U.S. to develop any type of new technology soon to combat the space race with Iran and China. Omoron just cut the Constellation Program, the program that would have taken us to the moon, and then eventually to Mars. Even if we don’t go to Mars, just imagine all of the new technology that would come out of this? And it has only cost about $9 billion since 2004. I know that $9 billion is a lot of money, but it is just a pittance compared to how much money has been wasted on Omoron’s spending spree.

Just so everyone knows, a few days after the last major protest in Iran, Ahmadinejad gave all government employees the day off work so they could attend a pro-government rally that featured free cake and juice. People were also bussed in from the countryside for the event. Ahmadinejad then referred to the rally as a major blow to opposition groups and the West. He’s planning a similar rally February 11, so I’m pretty sure it was only that which he was referring to when he made the statement that FOX News translated as basically “Ahmadinutjob’s got the bomb!!!” No need to panic, he just talks like that because he’s insane.
