“Death to America” From SpaceWorm: Iran Space Program Enters 19th Century; Testing Nukes Rocket (Funny VIDEO)

Ah, the molasses-like “advancement” of the Islamic world.

Kavoshgar 3: Apparent Iranian Nukes Test

Yesterday, Iran launched its Kavoshgar-3 (Explorer 3) rocket into space, and, quietly, the West is watching, because there are legitimate fears that Iran is using its back-ass-wards space program to help it develop nuclear weapons. Don’t put it past ’em. The only thing Iran is telling us: that there were several animals on the flight–a rodent, two turtles, and several worms. (No word on whether the rodent’s name is Ahmadinejad). But Western leaders fear that the animals story is just cover for the real purpose of the rocket launch: testing it for the purpose of launching and sending nuclear warheads to their intended target (us or Israel).  Barack Obama may not be paying much attention (his people called the K-3 launch, a “provocative act,” which is the same BS adjective Bush used to use about Iran’s tests), but France is.  More on that below.

But, first, here’s a scene from inside the Kavoshgar-3, including “Death to America” from Iran’s space-worm.

More:

France expresses “deep concern” after the shooting Wednesday by Iran of a space rocket Kavoshgar-3, for “space launch and ballistic missile using common technologies,” said Foreign Ministry.

“We received with great concern the Iranian announcements that Iran has conducted a new missile test,” said Ministry spokesman Bernard Valero, during a press briefing.

“The space and ballistic missiles launchers use a common technology. In the framework of space programs, states should not contribute to the proliferation of ballistic missiles that could serve as vectors of weapons of mass destruction,” he said.

The Iranian state television said Wednesday that Tehran had “successfully tested the space rocket Kavoshgar-3, manufactured locally. The rocket carried an experimental capsule containing live animals, including rats, turtles and worms, the source said.

“This announcement can only reinforce the concerns of the international community while Iran develops a parallel nuclear program, without identifiable civilian target, in violation of five resolutions of the Security Council of the United Nations,” said Bernard Valero.

This is disturbing. We should have blown that junk off the launch pad. It’s a danger to the PLANET that Iran could’ve launched ANYTHING. Ohhhhhh boy.

He promised something spectacular on Feb. 11 that would astound the World so that it will never be the same again.
Even taking that statement with a large hunk of salt, it’s probably related and I wouldn’t be to cavalier in my assessment of this ridiculous seeming event. It’s either capable of doing more than we think and it will, or the US better watch out for “falling” space junk with a surprise inside, next week because programming a landing is pretty basic.
Debbie, you’re not being fair to rodents. Some of them are kinda cute. I would have said the worms.

mk750 on February 4, 2010 at 11:06 am

    @mk750
Worms actually serve a purpose on this planet, they help fertilize the land and bring things to life, pretty much the opposite of Ahmadinejad and his ilk, who’s just full of fertilizer. Cockroach might be a better description, but even they serve a better purpose.

Debbie:

LOVED the Jimmy Kimmel clip. Thanks for posting.

As for Iran and their “space program:” Europe better be afraid. VERY afraid. As for Israel, I’m sure they are watching this very carefully. One thing I really respect about Israel is that they do not stick their heads in the sand and pretend that the rest of the Middle East wants peace – or at least most of them don’t. I only pray that when the Israelis take action against Ahmembersonlyjacket Obama will stand with them instead of against them.

Debbie, your friend Sultan Knish writes the “universalization” of the Holocaust has taught Jews all the wrong lessons. Its not about making the world a nice place that should concern Jews. Its about taking a stand against evil and destroying it. Sadly, that’s a message that’s not politically correct today. But in light of what Iran is doing, its one that urgently needs to be heard – more than ever.

The UN Security Council says that Iran has violated five UN resolutions. This probably doesn’t concern the UN too much. Iran has a long way to go to match all of the resolutions that Iraq ignored.

The UN is more than just a complete joke, it is dangerous. Kick them out of the U.S. and let them go mooch off of some other county, like Somalia or the UAE, since the UN loves muslims so much. The U.S. does not need the UN. NATO is probably the only military machine that the U.S. can somewhat trust and depend on for assistance.

Jarhead on February 4, 2010 at 11:59 am

Agreed. Send the UN to some third world muslim country. Maybe Khadafi has a spot for them. America needs to re-align itself with true allies and ditch these leeches who only like us when they can use us. The US doesn’t need 3’rd world dictators telling it how to run itself, that includes king BO hussein.
America needs allies that have proven themselves, that they will watch our back if we watch theirs, nations that truly respect this country and what it stands for, and NATO seems like the best place to start.

I pray that if Iran does launch some sort of nuclear warhead, it blows up in their face, literally.

theShadow on February 4, 2010 at 8:53 pm

After giving the NATO thing some more thought, maybe we should set up a new network of allies. The Eastern European countries like Poland still love the U.S. Let’s align with countries like these and countries that have been strong military allies for the past 10 years.

It seems almost everybody in the MSM is obsessed about Iran developing a ‘ballastic missile’ (that would nuke a single city). What we really need to worry about is Iran/North Korea exploding a nuke several hundred miles above the US, generating an Electromagnetic Pulse that would fry almost every circuit/chip in the country. This is a much more likely scenario than the absurd idea of nuking a single American city
(see: http://www.empactamerica.net/). Contact your elected officials about this threat, we’re running out of time….

As Gandalf said in “Return of the King”, “The board is set. The pieces are moving.” Unfortunately, while Iran is playing Chess, we’re playing tiddly-winks. Or is it poker? No matter our hand, after a pro forma bluff, we fold.

We indeed should be concerned about an EMP attack, given the potential damage of a single detonation. And we should be concerned about what we *don’t* know about Iran’s capabilities. At a meeting of the EastWest Institute on May 19, 2009, the “experts” declared, “There is no reliable information at present on the state of Iran’s efforts to develop solid propellant rocket motors and therefore no basis on which to make an assessment.” Iran launched the solid-fueled Fajjir the very next day!

Raymond in DC on February 4, 2010 at 12:54 pm

Well, EMP would certainly fit Atemydinnerjacket’s description of what’s in store for next Thursday. Yes, It has the ring of truth. G-d help us all. I wonder if the US would be the target or maybe Belgium with the “Beast” computer.

mk750 on February 4, 2010 at 2:52 pm

What is President Obama doing now? Are we going to hear about his “regret” or “disappointment” when Iran starts launching lethat payloads in Israel’s direction? Mr. Obama seems more concerned about an Islamist having a hangnail at Guantanamo, than protecting Israel of the United States.

Worry01 on February 4, 2010 at 3:35 pm

Also, people need to realize that the technology needed to produce an intercontinental ballistic missile is about 50 years old now. Iran is slow and dull, but even that government will eventually succeed in its efforts. I do not trust the Chinese or Russians in this area, especially since they tend to think in the short term strategically.

Worry01 on February 4, 2010 at 3:43 pm

If we had taken seriously Ronald Reagan’s R&D effort into the Star Wars Defense policy, who knows what type of technology we would have now. This would have been a perfect way to show Iran who the big dog is. I don’t look for the U.S. to develop any type of new technology soon to combat the space race with Iran and China. Omoron just cut the Constellation Program, the program that would have taken us to the moon, and then eventually to Mars. Even if we don’t go to Mars, just imagine all of the new technology that would come out of this? And it has only cost about $9 billion since 2004. I know that $9 billion is a lot of money, but it is just a pittance compared to how much money has been wasted on Omoron’s spending spree.

Jarhead on February 5, 2010 at 1:19 pm

Just so everyone knows, a few days after the last major protest in Iran, Ahmadinejad gave all government employees the day off work so they could attend a pro-government rally that featured free cake and juice. People were also bussed in from the countryside for the event. Ahmadinejad then referred to the rally as a major blow to opposition groups and the West. He’s planning a similar rally February 11, so I’m pretty sure it was only that which he was referring to when he made the statement that FOX News translated as basically “Ahmadinutjob’s got the bomb!!!” No need to panic, he just talks like that because he’s insane.
