The Dearbornistan Post-Soccer Violence that Wasn’t Reported; Dress Code: Riot Gear; Celebration of Mahdi Army?

By
Both of Detroit’s major newspapers (the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit Newsistan), today, are filled with gushing, glowing stories about the “peaceful” Shi’ite Iraqis in the streets of Dearbornistan, yesterday, who cheered on Iraq’s win over Sunni-dominated Saudi Arabia in the Asian Cup.
But the Shi’ite-Sunni aspect of it was not reported. (I mean, Hello . . .? Why do you think they were so happy? They see this as symbolic what they want to do to the Sunnis (no prizes, themselves) for real in the Middle East, so that the Shi’ite domination of the world takes place.)

Where’s Waldo?: Find the American Flag @ Dearbornistan Shia Soccer Riots

Nor was it reported that this is the SAME Shi’ite crowd that a year ago was in the streets cheering Hezbollah. was the organizer of these riots and he was in the streets leading the crowd. (Click on the video on the right-hand side here, and you’ll see one of my least favorite people, Al-Husainy, all over.) BTW, Al-Husainy says this victory is for “the freedom fighters,” but he supports Iran and Jaish Al-Mahdi (Muqtada Al-Sadr’s Mahdi Army).
Nor was it reported anywhere that Al-Husainy’s “rally” of 3,000 in the streets actually turned into a somewhat violent riot. You did see some of that (sort of) “reported,” last night, on Detroit FOX News-owned-and-operated news operation, FOX2. But, it wasn’t actually reported by this pan-Islamist news outfit, either. Instead, it came across the screen in footage when the violence suddenly broke out. And though the reporter didn’t remark on it, the reporter was visibly frightened.
And there’s more. Police were in riot gear, also noticed by Detroit-area reader C.D., who writes:

I’m having a hard time finding any reports in the Detroit Newsistan regarding the violence that broke out last night in Detroit following the Asian Cup win.
I saw the report on Fox2 last night. There were dozens of police in riot gear. The reporter was visibly shaken. Another coverup? I think so.

Truth in the Detroit Newsistan about what actually goes on in Dearbornistan? You’ll never find it. Of course, C.D. gets that. If only everyone in this town did.
You can take the people out of the violent Middle East, but you can’t take the violent Middle East out of the people. If only our President learned that on 9/11. But, alas, he did not, so you will only see more of this, as more of these violent, unAmerican individuals get to come here to our shores and become ACINOs–American Citizens In Name Only.
Oh, and BTW, in all the press coverage, not a single American flag to be seen anywhere. Gee, whatta surprise.

Drew and Mike were discussing this on WRIF this morning. They brought up a lot of the same points you do, and they weren’t happy about it. They are not dhummis. They even played some of the report from FOX2.
And then there’s the fact that they’ve been trying to shove soccer down our throats for the past 30 years.
I’m waiting to see how much our local sharia-accepting, dhimmi newspapers report on the stupid Koran-in-the-toilet incident.

Debbie Schlussel – “If only our President learned that on 9/11.”
There are three classes of intellects: one which comprehends by itself; another which appreciates what others comprehend; and a third which neither comprehends by itself nor by the showing of others; the first is the most excellent, the second is good, the third is useless.

Thanks for telling us. Even Drudge didn’t have this, I’m guessing he didn’t know about it, either. The MSM is evil, they are hiding this from all of us. The average person, who doesn’t even try to find out about this kind of thing, doesn’t have a clue what’s happening.

Here’s a whitewash of another Dearbornistan in the making–or a Palestine, in the making, in the US.

Salam (peace be upon everyone) You know first off this is so funny that Ms. Debbie likes to say it was a violent, riot, celebration, when in fact it wasn’t. I live right by Dearborn and they were just celebrating will celebrate if there favorite Hockey team won the Stanley cup, or their football team won the super bowl. They were pulling people over because they honked there horn, no harm done. And also another false thing you said about the Sunni and Shi’i thing is, they celebrated together that WDIV channel 4 news said, and I heard they did from friends so please get your facts right, Iraq needed this win, it makes people happier and something there proud of. 70% of them don’t have fresh water in their country, so Debbie and everyone, you try living in poverty, and struggling for money and food, or getting afraid to be dead the next day from a bomb, think before you say something because you know what, many Christians today are drunk off their ass on the streets of Windsor, Canada and sleeping around and cheating on wives, and drunk drivers are killing people, and theirs many dirty men out their raping children, so if you want to make this a religious blog and Islam bashing, I have plenty to come back to, because Christians and Jews do make enough crime in this country, also so don’t think you guys are perfect. I used to be a Christian I know.
Take care

I’m glad Iraq won but I found it interesting that the team has to practice in Jordan. With Saddam they had to worry about his sons, Whodat and Whatdat beating them if they lost. It was in some paper that the star of the team doesn’t want to return to Iraq because someone will kill him because, you guessed it, the Americans are there. Sounds like he’s setting us up for admission to the US so he can play on Beckham’s team in LA. Everybody hates us but can’t wait to get here by hook or crook. Hey, world, you’re a bunch of nut jobs, you too Canada.

I’m glad the Iraqi national team won the championship. Maybe this will help the Iraqis gain some confidence in their country.
It is only reasonable to expect seing Iraqi flags since it was an Iraqi national team that won the Asian Cup. I don’t have a problem with the absense of an American flag in this instance.
Sports celebrations after big championships sometimes turn violent. That’s not particularly limited to Dearborn, MI. E. Lansing had its problems a few years back when MSU won the NCAA basketball title. As such, I don’t think the violence was particularly unusual.
What is obscene is the news media’s decision not to report the violence. That is inexcuseable and it is yet another fine example of how the news media gives Muslims a free pass.
When violence breaks out in the wake of a big sports victory, the news media covers it. Civic leaders then take steps to see that it doesn’t happen again. We’ve seen this happen in Detroit, E. Lansing, Chicago and elsewhere.
There is no way that Dearborn will clean up its act as long as the news media gives it a free pass. The sad part about this instance is that there’s no reason for the news media to be afraid to hurt Dearborn’s iddy biddy feelings when the issue is a sports celebration that’s gotten out of hand. Whatever their shortcomings are, I sincerely doubt that people of Dearborn want their town torn up in a sports celebration.
