Boycott “Deep End”: Star of New ABC Series Defamed US Soldiers in Muslim Anti-Semitic Film

By Debbie Schlussel

Tonight on ABC, a new series, “The Deep End,” debuts.  DON’T WATCH IT.

Billy Zane Defamed American Soldiers in Muslim Hate Flick

In 2006, the show’s star, Billy Zane, whored himself out to star in Islamic propaganda against U.S. soldiers and American Jews in the Turkish film, “Kurtlar Vadisi – Irak [Valley of the Wolves – Iraq].”  I wrote a lot about this disgusting piece of garbage, including here.

In the movie, Zane played “Sam William Marshall,” an evil, brutal, cold-hearted, sadistic American soldier, who raids an Arab Muslim wedding, where everyone from the region comes together. He deliberately kills dozens of innocent civilians, including the groom, whom he shoots in the head, then kills others with random machine gun fire. Clearly, it’s no accident that Zane resembles a serpenthead. The guy’s an America-hating snake. This is the same movie, in which Gary Busey plays a Jewish U.S. Army doctor who goes to Abu Ghraib prison and cuts out Iraqi prisoners’ organs, which he sells to rich Jews in New York, London and Tel Aviv.

The movie, produced and funded by the Turkish government (and Hillary Clinton campaign financier, Mehmet Celebi), and was shown on Turkish television for the specific purpose of inciting Turkish Muslims against America, American soldiers, and Jews.

Billy Zane Tortures Innocent Muslims in “Kurtlar Vadisi – Irak”

The movie is so anti-American that even the anti-American, pan Islamist BBC’s Middle East expert, Cengiz Candar (I appreciate Candar’s candor), denounced it, saying, “This film poisons the climate in a way that it enhances jingoistic nationalism among Turks.”  BBC called the movies, “rabidly anti-American,” and reported that Turkish moviegoers coming out of the theater making statements like this one: “If I see an American when I get out of here I feel like taking a hood and putting it over their head.”   Bavarian premier Edmund Stoiber described the film as a “racist and anti-Western hate film” and said it was intended to sow “hate and mistrust against the West.”  He asked German theaters not to show it.  There’s a reason the movie was shown at a 2006 San Francisco Muslim film festival.

And Billy Zane had no problems selling out America to star in that film for a paycheck. Don’t reward him by watching his silly new ABC show. Let it be a ratings disaster, and send him to the SAG/AFTRA unemployment line.

It’s an outrage that this cretinous actor is still working–and on America’s publicly own broadcast airwaves.  You know–the airwaves the American soldiers who Zane defamed, fight to protect, every single day.  If we had any justice in America, Billy Zane would have been tortured to death on his way home from Turkey.

That’s disgusting. Busey I can understand – he’s a moron- but I thought Zane was Jewsih?

DS_ROCKS! on January 21, 2010 at 2:21 pm

Yeah like you react the same if arabs/muslims are on the receiving end of blatant pro zionist propaganda.

Got it covered,Debbie. Wasn’t planning on watching it anyway.

John Hamer on January 21, 2010 at 2:33 pm

Really and truly unbelievable. And that anyone would EVER give him work in the U.S. again says it all.

poetcomic1 on January 21, 2010 at 2:59 pm

DS_ROCKS! – Billy Zane isn’t Jewish. He’s Greek-American and Greek Orthodox.

Long before Billy Zane tried to make American soldiers look bad during a war he made the news when he won an auction for a box of Cuban cigars presented by none other than Fidel Castro himself. Zane hugged Castro with a big smile on his face.

Steve Haynie on January 21, 2010 at 4:46 pm

Maybe mr Zane needs a few good hard knuckles to wipe that faggy smirk off his face???…you think?

Can-Am on January 21, 2010 at 4:49 pm

Zaneplayed “The Phantom” years ago (a Sunday comic strip I always liked). I never knew this about Zane. Maybe someone should whack him in the shins and he can then be “The Ghost who can’t walk”…. disgusting. Busey plays treasonous slime all the time in such memorable roles as the one he played in “Under Seige”- so I can understand he’s just staying within his melieu anyway. But the whole package truly stinks.

I understand there are excesses in the cinema but this is beyond the pale. Don’t watch any show with anti-American stars in them and write to your advertisers to help pull the plug. We don’t need the like of them in this country, no thanks!

NormanF on January 21, 2010 at 5:09 pm

Thanks for the info…another “actor” off the list…..Not many left out there. I guess my previous comment about watching a movie instead of Fox news will have to be corrected to reading a book instead.

How did Billy Zane become a super star? The guy was doing cheap tricks in semi-porns movies like “Lake Consequence” and the likes. I was really suprised James Cameron gave hima role in Titanic. I guess Cameron’s budget was stretched so he had to hire low-cost actors.

I had no intention of watching it to begin with. The previews alone were enough to convince me it was total garbage. Having Zane in it just makes it that much worse.

Ever since I watched him in his role playing Richard Miller in Sniper(1993), I have always felt Billy Zane is creepy. There is just something about him that gives me the creeps no matter which role he has taken on.He always seem to play deranged bad guys and frankly I do not think he is acting in those roles.

Billy Zane was asked if he thought that Valley of the Wolves was anti American. He said; “This screenplay is not against my country’s people… I am doing this movie because I am a patriot. I’m against all wars, because wars don’t have happy endings.”

For some reason, Hollywood keeps hiring him on a regular basis. I frankly do not see what they see obviously.

wahhhhhh wahhhhhhh the anti-semite card has gotten old. Get a new act you shylock penny pinching jew slut

Dave on January 21, 2010 at 10:16 pm

You’re comments are a reflection of your upbringing and your parents (and I imagine your grandparents and so on) should be embarrassed although I am pretty sure you are just like them and they are mighty proud of their boy.

The thing I love is that I know this website eats you up alive. If this website did not affect you, you would not be trolling on it in the first place.

Esteban on January 21, 2010 at 10:28 pm

Billy Zane is obviously someone who will do anything for a paycheck. It would have been infinitely more acceptable for him to do a porn film that Valley of the Wolves. As for the wedding scene, it seems that there is some Islamist “projection” there. Al-Qaeda did a nice little suicide bombing of a wedding not too long ago in Jordan. I guess the more likely event is not as sexy as the utterly improbable one to Turkish, not to mention Moslem audiences.

Worry01 on January 22, 2010 at 2:38 am

Perhaps it’s Billy Zane that’s gone off “The Deep End.”

A career is a terrible thing to waste!

Julian on January 22, 2010 at 12:23 pm

I would not have watched it anyway. But thanks for the heads up Debbie.

Is there a way you can delete hate-filled comments from homosexual hate mongering maggots like Dave?

PDMac60 on January 22, 2010 at 9:39 am

I would actually like to see the parts where Busy takes out some organs though.lol
We could start with Dave then work our way down to more worthy “organ donors”.

Joe on January 22, 2010 at 11:02 am

Zane is a creep as is Busey, who once had a career. I would like to know what his excuse was for acting in this dreck.

Julian on January 22, 2010 at 11:34 am

Oh, please, what hogwash. Acting is this guy’s job. He is playing a ROLE.

Does anyone who sings or plays Wagner’s music become an anti-Semite?

Laughable, your position on this.

Not agreeing on January 22, 2010 at 2:50 pm

When you have a good point, and heck this is a great point, why do you always overreach. Just stay on point with the issue that Zane is a trator ad shoud be brought up on charges. Just leave Hillary out of it. Believe it or not there are a lot of career Amy Officiers, like me, who are Democrats. Surprise everyone and be a jounalist. Distinguish yourself from the corporate sponsored right wingers.

Creed, Kevin on January 30, 2010 at 9:21 pm

Creed, Kevin; you sound like an ass. The kind of “Arny Officier” (sic) that becomes a Military Prosector against our own soldiers for violating our inane “Rules of Engagement.” Why don’t you and other democrat “Arny Officiers” do the nation a favor, and go enlist in the PLO? That’s more your style.

Mel on April 27, 2011 at 11:40 am

I used to get a kick out of some Busey movies, no more! what asholes they both area (Billy Zany?). No doubt they both have expensive drug habbits to support. As for Hilary, good grief I considered voting for her, are all our “leaders” nuts?
Mel Gibson must be relieved that he is temperarally off the radar.
That these guys are allowed back into this country after all the damage they have done to our fighting men and women makes me puke.
Jane Fonda admits her mistake, all these assholes should be thrown overboard to join Bin Ladin.

Ron Wolf on December 21, 2011 at 2:38 am

I haven’t seen this movie, but I did look it up and checked out some critical reviews, interviews with Zane and the director, etc. While it certainly seems to be a decidedly anti-American film, I was surprised to find it was basically an amalgamation of a few actual, well documented incidents in which American soldiers perpetrated some pretty terrible things. These incidents are not in doubt -check them out, don’t take my word for it.

What I find puzzling is why you are taking to task the actor in a movie -not the real-life criminals who disgraced their country in their misdeeds. They are the representatives of our nation who have validated the hatred of people of the world. Why don’t you have a post about them? Moreover, why have we as a nation not stepped up and condemned these aberrations, these “bad apples” in the strongest possible terms, in the harshest possible ways, to announce to the rest of the world, and indeed to the American people, that this is not the American way. This is not what we stand for, and neither will we stand for it.

It doesn’t sound like a good movie. I will not be running out to rent it. But people should be allowed to make whatever they want, because that’s the American way. What they shouldn’t be allowed to do is run amok about the globe, proving to the world that Valley of the Wolves has any basis in reality.

waw, and i thought america was yhe land of freedom and free speech. my ass ! you guys are incredible, but then again, hypocrisy and propaganda are the main key to rule the world…

tayt on March 31, 2012 at 8:14 am

It is truly revolting that this Arab propaganda is being adopted by the U.S. film industry. Having spent plenty of time in the Middle East I am well aware of the extreme hate propaganda against America, Americans, Jews and non-Muslims filling Muslim media 24/7. The intention of all this is to spread hate sentiments amongst their people. The fact that an American actor has accepted the role, will indeed look as an endorsement and American admission that Americans are the “cause” of Islamic terrorist activities in the Middle East. Nothing could be further from the truth. The ideology of hate and terror has been a core foundation of Islam for 1,400 years since the birth of Mohammed.
