Kuwaiti Krispy Kreme: Another Reason Not to Buy Fattening Confection

By
You may remember the Kuwaitis as the people who welcomed America to their defense in the first Gulf War. But as I’ve repeatedly written, that was then. , Islamist, anti-American, and extremely anti-Israel. Even Mike Wallace, no friend of America or Israel, did a piece exposing how the Kuwait of today hates America. And, as I’ve written, Kuwait abides by the Arab Boycott of Israel. Its travel apartheid policy prohibits Israeli Jews or those with Israel stamped on their passports to enter the country.

Now, Kuwait has provided us with yet another reason not to eat those fattening baked goods at Krispy Kreme. A Securities and Exchange Commission filing announces that Kuwait’s Mohamed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi & Sons now owns 11.3%–or 7.3 million shares–of the Winston-Salem, NC doughnut retailer, making the Kharafi Family the company’s largest shareholder. Expect Halal doughnuts and food soon, if not already.
As you may have guessed, the Kharafi Family, which controls Krispy Kreme’s Middle East franchisee abides by the Arab boycott of Israel, pursuant to Kuwaiti law. Don’t eat there.
Like I remarked in a : Remember the good old days . . . when the Japanese owned everything in America.
Oh, and guess what?: There are no Krispy Kreme locations–kosher or not–in Israel. Gee, I wonder why.

Thanks for the heads-up. I don’t eat that crap anyhow. On the other hand, Dunkin Donuts does NOT hire illegal aliens. So if you MUST have a doughnut…

That’s a boycott i can easily follow since i don’t like KK anyway…but after the Arabs cut off the oil in the early Seventies and the auto industry STILL went back to the gas guzzlers, there’ll always be money for terrorism as long as amerikkka loves its $UVs!!!

Winston-Salem, huh, maybe some a-rab will buy Phillip Morris so I finally can get up the strength to stop Marlboro. No krispy-kreme, no ben & jerry’s, I’ll live. You know, enemabag, your comment started off nice but then you go right off the cliff. I know you keep trying, don’t stop looking, there is a doctor somewhere that can help you.

Keep up the good work Deb. Maybe you should post an updated list of companies like this every so often as a constant reminder and for people new to your blog.

I had some Krispy Kreme “doughnuts” once and they were terrible!
Not even doughnuts, more like sugarnuts, just a doughnut scaffolding encased in sugar.
Icky!
Gag me!

Curious how concerned the Kuwaitis are with the Palestinians considering they don’t give them citizenship in their country.

Sorry, but I like KK’s. Now, I can avoid them and feel good about it.
Debbie: last night Dick Morris was talking about the $10 million a year Bill and, by extension, Hillary have been getting directly from the Emir of Dubai. The “deal” is supposedly worth $50 million over 5 years.
Do you have any info on this? Please let us know before it’s too late.

I was born and raised in kuwait to foreign parents. But you are right..the new government is VERY extremist. Funny thing is, no one seems to say anything about it. As for the Krisy Kreme thing..come on! Kuwaitis have a huge share in Airbus. I think they are one of the largest shareholders..if not the largest. Does that mean you will not fly airplanes with the airbus brand? Dont hate the company. As for the boycott…things work two ways. When I was in kuwait, we visited israel a lot (i am catholic..hence jerusalem is sacred). We would fly into Cyprus, and then take a boat to israel. You dont get a stamp on your passport. Tons of people do it.
And Arabs in Kuwaitis are the biggest drunks in Kuwait..they drink more than the foreigners..if you want to believe it.
*expecting more death threats from Arabs who might read this blog*

sonomaca,
Gotta admit — revelations that Hillary has been “bought” by Islamofascist money (most of which used to be American taxpayers’ money, of course) would devastate her candidacy with most Americans, save for the dolts who think she will actually rescue them from the “evil” capitalists.
Hills is a crook from way back (Whitewater; cattle futures, anyone?); twisted enough to do REAL damage to this nation, should she ever ascend to its highest office. Anything that reveals her indebtedness to Muslims would certainly help derail her “inevitability train.” Bill is deep into whoring for BIG $ from Dubai and Saudi Arabia, who practically built his Presidential Library and Massage Parlor; he’ll spout anti-Americanism all day long, if his masters yank his chain — almost always when he’s out of the country, of course!

Dick Morris said the same thing at least 3 or 4 times. He really pressed the point, and said something to the effect that Bill Clinton is taking money from an anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic source. Dick Morris’ information is usually accurate. Why haven’t we heard more about this (and why haven’t we heard more about Obama’s slick dealings with the shady Syrian from Chicago?

John Cunningham – Philip Morris (Marlboro) is based in Richmond, VA. R.J. Reynolds (Camel etc.) is in Winston Salem. But it wouldn’t be a bad idea to give up the Marlboros anyway. I know how tough it is.
