Why Was Umar AbdulMutallab in Houston? Whom Did He Visit There? What Did He Plan?
**** UPDATE, December 30: We now know what Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was doing in Houston (in part). ****
No, Christmas and his attempted terrorist attack on a plane wasn’t the first time, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab used his two-year visa to the U.S. Many reports say that Northwest Airlines Flight 253 Islamic Terrorist Abdulmutallab visited Houston in August 2008. Some reports say he was in Houston for eleven days.
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab: What Was He Doing in Houston?
Why Houston? What was he doing there? And with whom did he meet? Did he scope out sites for possible terrorist attacks? Did he meet with Islamic terrorists in Houston to send them messages from Al Qaeda in Yemen or other Islamic terrorists? At which Houston-area mosques did he pray? And who are the imams of those mosques? There is a huge extremist Muslim (redundant) community in suburban Houston, just as there is in suburban Dallas, in Austin, and elsewhere around Texas. They are everywhere.
I’m sure the reactive (as opposed to proactive) FBI has already sent agents to the ground there to search out answers to these questions. Answers that–as the lead agency on terrorism–they should have already had, because they should have started investigating once AbdulMutallab’s father warned the U.S. about him and once he was put on the terror watch list a/k/a Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment database (the Terrorist Screening Data Base or TSDB for short) maintained by the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center. But, hey, the agency was too busy doing its endless Islamic “outreach” bullcrap and just couldn’t be bothered to do the hard work required for a country to avoid terrorist attacks.
But, given that the FBI doesn’t yet have those answers, it’s comical to hear U.S. government officials, including Janet Napolitano (whose agency screwed up in horribly screening this guy before he got on the flight; but whose agency does NOT have any authority to investigate Islamic terrorism, as it signed that away to the Justice Department and FBI during the Bush administration), are already declaring that Abdulmutallab wasn’t involved in any larger terrorist plot. We have no idea yet if he was or wasn’t. And I’d suppose, if he went to Houston for 11 days, after he’d already become an extremist, he probably did have co-conspirators in something larger.
And does it make a difference if he was connected to Al-Qaeda? We know he was connected to Islam. And we know that made him try to blow up a plane and mass murder 300 people on Christmas Day. And that’s the bottom line. Many of these terrorists–I guess the government hasn’t noticed yet, or rather, refuses to–aren’t tied to Qaeda. But they are Muslims. And, while they continue to bury their heads in the sand, one thing is clear about Nidal Malik Hassan, the Fort Hood Islamic terrorist and many others who’ve shot up Army recruiting centers in Little Rock or tried to do so at Fort Dix. And it’s not Al-Qaeda. It’s that . . .
THEY. ARE. MUSLIM.
