KSM, 9/11 Suspects Trial: Let the Jew-Blaming, America-Hating Begin
As virtually every single critic of the Barack Obama / Eric Holder decision to bring 9/11 suspects to trial in U.S. courts has predicted, the defendant terrorists plan to make their trials a forum and spectacle for their “views” on American foreign policy. Their defense attorneys just said as much.
Having the Last Laugh
The five men facing trial in the Sept. 11 attacks will plead not guilty so that they can air their criticisms of U.S. foreign policy, the lawyer for one of the defendants said.
Scott Fenstermaker, the lawyer for accused terrorist Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali, said Sunday the men would not deny their role in the 2001 attacks but “would explain what happened and why they did it.” . . .
Ali, also known as Ammar al-Baluchi, is a nephew of professed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
Mohammed, Ali and the others will explain “their assessment of American foreign policy,” Fenstermaker said.
“Their assessment is negative,” he said.
Gee, that’s a shocker. I’m sure Himmler and Mengele would have done the same, had we only given the chance–ya know, to show the world what a great country we are.
You know what this means. It means blaming the Jews, blaming Israel, and hating on America. We’ve seen plenty of previews, and not just in the Bin Laden and Adam Gadahn videos.
As you’ll recall, just after the 9/11 attacks, then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani was offered a ten million dollar check by inbred billionaire Saudi Prince AlWaleed Bin Talal (who now owns 6% of FOX News parent, NewsCorp) . . . if the U.S. would change its foreign policy. Translation: It’s U.S. support for Israel that caused 9/11. It’s a lie, and in fact, if it were true, plenty of other countries that historically supported Israel and its founding would have been hit. They weren’t. It’s about Islam’s hatred of the West, of liberalism (small “L”), of freedom and Western culture . . . of anything not strictly Islamic. (To his credit, Giuliani told AlWaleed where to go.)
KSM Trial Will Be More of This
We’ll see more Prince AlWaleed stylings at the trial. But the smug, arrogant, and excessively confident Holder assures us–with absolutely no basis–that this won’t happen.
Dean Boyd, a spokesman for the Department of Justice, said Sunday that while the men may attempt to use the trial to express their views, “we have full confidence in the ability of the courts and in particular the federal judge who may preside over the trial to ensure that the proceeding is conducted appropriately and with minimal disruption, as federal courts have done in the past.”
As a practicing attorney, I always tell my clients you can never predict what an officious, arrogant, capricious judge (as are many on the bench at all levels) will do, what he/she will allow. I always let them know that it’s a crap shoot, Russian roulette.
Just ask Karim Koubriti, who–as I warned–is a great model for what could happen with these terrorists at trial and beyond.
But Eric Holder is some sort of seer, who can predict all. And if you believe that, I have some scarved old women with tarot cards for you to see. It’ll cost you, though.
In that case, the only loss is $10-50 bucks from your wallet. In this case, it’s America’s rep on the international stage and an increased vulnerability in the world of those who would attack us again and again.

We did a whirlwind (2 1/2 days)tour of NYC back in March, just hitting one of the highlights. I remember remarking to my husband that I wanted to see the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, etc. before some nutjob blows them up.
Glad we got the trip in when we did. You could not pay me enough to visit or live in NYC during that show trial.
