The Coldness of Barack: Weirdest Obama Story Yet
As many have remarked, we know very little about Barack Obama. And that’s in great part to his own reticence and his own lock on his years at Columbia University (where he had a Muslim roommate and was a drug addict), his thesis, etc. It’s odd in a day and age where our media works overtime on figures like Sarah Palin who aren’t in the White House, and yet we know next to nothing about the leader of the free world.
And it’s weird.
It seems the weirdest story yet is about yet another one of Barack Obama’s half-brothers. He seems to have a gazillion of these half-siblings and clearly Barack, Sr. got around almost as much as Wilt Chamberlain. On Wednesday, President Obama had a meeting with half-bro, Mark Okoth Obama Ndesandjo, who lives in China.
Little was said about the meeting, but the President’s comments were cold, not the things you’d say to the public, even if true, including, “I don’t know him well.” He barely acknowledged the meeting. On the other hand, his half-brother described the meeting as “overwhelming” and “intense.”
He just gave me a big hug. And it was so intense. I’m still over the moon on it. I am over the moon.
It’s odd, and the differing versions are stark. One is that of a snobby narcissist with the calculating emotions and warmth of an automoton. The other is that of a genuine eagerness to connect with family that is unrequited by the self-important Barack. He’s this cold with his own family. No wonder he’s that cold with families who lost their loved ones in the Fort Hood Islamic terrorist attack.
Then, there is half-brother Mark’s novel, which he says is “semi-autobiographical.” IN “Nairobi to Shenzhen,” which Barack Obama claims he didn’t read (and you can bet he certainly did read it), the protagonist is the son of a Jewish mother and an abusive father from Kenya. I’m constantly asked if Barack Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, is Jewish. The answer is no, and it appears that’s also not the case for brother, Mark Ndesandjo. But Ndesandjo says that he was beaten by Barack Obama, Sr.
The whole thing is strange. And very telling . . . in what it’s not telling us. For the first time in this information age, we have a President we know very little about, a President who seems to know very little–according to his own version–of his ever-expansive family.
What else is there we don’t know about him? What is he hiding? A whole lot. The one thing we do know–that he’s a cold, emotionless vessel of nothingness–came out in spades with the description of the meeting with his own brother, close or not.

That’s next right up there to your quote of the day – “bargain of the century” – for the Detroit Silverdome, built in 1975 with taxpayers’ money for $55 million, just sold for $583,000!
Welcome to the Age Of Obama!
