Devil’s Night, Detroit, Halloween, Zombie Parents & Slutty Kids Costumes (Billy Ray Cyrus Crummy Dad Alert)
So, tomorrow is Halloween.

Is Noah Cyrus’ Inappropriate Costume a Dominatrix Outfit?
But tonight is Devil’s Night, a holiday I’m told is only, um, “celebrated” in D-Mecca a/k/a Detroit. You see, on the night before Halloween, there are regularly several dozen homes set on fire by gangs, squatters, druggies–and occasionally anonymous vigilante neighbors tired of gang and druggie squatters living in decrepit abandoned homes in their neighborhood (can’t say I blame them). Under the mayorship of late Detroit Mayor Coleman Young, there were regularly hundreds of fires in Detroit on Devil’s Night, over 400 of them at the height of things. So bad it was that recent Rush Limbaugh biographer and former Detroiter Ze’ev Chafetz wrote a great book on it, “Devil’s Night: And Other True Tales of Detroit.”
But Detroit’s politically correct politicians and mainstream media refuse to call it Devil’s Night. Instead, they have a nice euphemism, “Angel’s Night,” pretending that all is well in Detroit and that few fires will be set there. But, in fact, cop friends of mine in Detroit tell me that each year, the city and the media lie about the actual number of such arson fires. They’ve sent me photos of burning homes and police reports.
So, I’m taking bets. How many fires do you think will be set to homes tonight? It’s raining a lot here in Detroit, so I’m lowering my estimate of the arsons that will happen, only due to that precipitation. Normally, I’d predict 40 fires. But with the rain, maybe ten arson fires. We’ll see, and I’ll try to report back on it.

Then, there’s the issue of parents and their kids. Check out the “Zits” comic strip, above, by caroonists Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman. It purports to show that Zombies would make the kind of permissive and do nothing parents a kid would love to have. But I think the cartoon is ironic because, sadly, as I’ve noted on this site, far too many parents are like Zombies. So, they really need to change this caroon to “Six Reasons Why Parents Would Make Cool Zombies.”
And speaking of “Cool” Zombie Parents on Halloween, take Billy Ray Cyrus, the Pop who designed the stripper pole for his daughter Miley to grind on, on national television. He’s also the father of Noah, a 9-year-old girl, who has a reality show on her own YouTube channel. Does a 9-year-old really need a reality show? Only if you’re a bad father. . . like Sean Vannity’s “Great American,” Mr. Cyrus. But the young girl’s reality show isn’t my issue, today.
It’s slutty Halloween costumes for young girls. I had a father complain about the costumes marketed to his young daughter. And if you look at the brochures of those Halloween stores and marketers, there’s plenty of slutty costumes pimped on kids. Some parents are up in arm’s with Noah Cyrus’ costume, which they say looks like a dominatrix. Disney says it refuses to publish the photos in its magazine aimed at girls because of the image it portrays. I’ve checked out the costume, and, though, I’d never let a 9-year-old daughter wear that costume and it’s inappropriate, I’m not sure it’s that bad. To me, it doesn’t look like a dominatrix costume, but more like a female vampire outfit. If anything, the amount of eyeliner and make-up this 9-year-old JonBenet-in-training wears on an average day, well that’s frightening. Check out these pics, where she and her fat cousin look like they’re auditioning for the role of “Bugsy Malone: Future Tarts Edition.”
So what do you think? Is Noah Cyrus’ outfit slutty and dominatrix-esque . . . or just a vampire costume? Either way, I definitely agree that there are far too many inappropriate costumes for girls. And that’s where the Zombie Parents come in. They’re at fault, not the companies who make and sell them . . . though they’re definitely a contributing factor.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!
I wonder if Mr. Cyrus realizes the amount of child kidnappings, rapes, and murders at the hands of the deviates that love to ogle this sort of stuff. WTF.
About two years ago I’m cleaning out my car and I notice some 8 year olds riding bikes past the house. One of them actually wore a pair of pants with some word stitched on the seat of her pants. My g-d we are in trouble. They’re all over the place.
When I was in the USAF I found myself educating my fellow airmen about the “festival” that is devils night. White flight? Oh yeah the racists left Detroit.(eye roll)
