The Original Jack Bauer: Why We Like Chuck Norris

By
Before 9/11, in the good old days when Hollywood actually portrayed terrorists accurately (at least in Golan-Globus films), there was Chuck Norris. He was before there was a Jack Bauer, before it was chic, and before there even was a FOX.
Check out this Top Ten list of Great Things about Chuck Norris video (on Daily Haha), as presented by our friends at FOX Sports Net’s “,” with help from Norris, himself.
Reason #11: Delta Force.
Thanks to loyal reader Lawrence K. for the tip.

Also, check out Chuck Norris’ Code of Ethics. We especially like this part:

I will always remain loyal to God, my country, my family, and friends.

If only the rest of Hollywood would adopt this particular ethic.

Jack Bauer is a poor man’s Chuck Norris, no doubt! My fondest Action Movie Memories as a teen were all 3 Missing In Action movies. For your daily dose of random Chuck Norris “facts”, click here: http://www.4q.cc/index.php?pid=fact&person=chuck
Chuck should be getting royalties for the priviledge of using his greatness.

Delta Force! That brings back memories. I loved that movie when I was a kid, but I haven’t seen it since. Does it still hold up?

Thanks for the awesome links, Debbie and Yiddish Steel.
What’s great about Chuck Norris is he is the real deal. He really can kick some butt in real life since he was a true world karate champ.
And he’s a great Dodgeball judge, too!

I am amazed that he is still going strong some thirty years later.
TV and film didn’t used to pay as much as it does now. It seems he always had a hardworking ethic running Karate studios in the LA area.
