Yesterday I said Carter maybe the worst president of all time. I was wrong, he IS the worst.
I really think he is senile. His doctor should check him for Alzheimer’s. I don’t know who is more nutso, Carter or Gore.
I love how convinced he is over the security, “I don’t think it exists.” Not, “I am positive”, not, “I am sure”, but “I don’t think it exists”?
“I don’t think…”? Well, he got that part right.

Interesting. Wasn’t Jimmy Carter, the Carter in the Torrijos-Carter Treaty handing over the Panama Canal to the Panamaniacs in 1977?
And doesn’t the Chinese Army now own the Panama Canal?

Yeah, I am really going to listen to a former president who was overwhelmingly defeated after only one term. I bet even his fellow Dems hate him as he is the one who ushered in the Reagan Revolution.
Didn’t he ask Amy first about the port issue?

not in defense of jimmah, but i recall that the treaty in question was negotiated in 1966(+/-). jimmah being in office at the time of the negotiated timetable to turn over the canal.
the arguement at the time was with sam nunn advocating not honoring the handover. far be it from jimmah to rock-the-boat.
i am at a loss to understand why the ‘panamas’ wanted the canal back so badly and as soon as they got it the chinese now own it.
as far as this port deal goes, if mr. hillary clinton comes out in favor of it ‘stick a fork in us’.
