BREAKING: Muslim Tried to Detonate Fed Courthouse; Cased Burger King, Too; Disturbing MySpace Jihad

Meet Talib Islam a/k/a Michael Finton. He’s another one of those “random,” “few,” “unbalanced” “hijackers that hijacked” the “Religion of Peace.” And, ironically, he plotted to blow up the Illinois Federal courthouse that’s named after one of the most anti-Semitic, anti-Israel Members of Congress in history, Paul Findley (who is now on the payroll of Gulf State salafists and runs an anti-Israel, anti-Semitic magazine). He was arrested today.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on charges that he allegedly planned to bomb a federal courthouse in Illinois and kill employees there.
Federal officials say the case has no connections with the major terrorism investigation under way in Colorado and New York.
So, what? It’s his connection to something else that’s the only thing relevant here: Islam.
Authorities say Michael Finton, also known as Talib Islam, was taken into custody by federal agents Thursday on charges of planning to use a vehicle bomb to attack the Paul Findley Federal Office Building and Courthouse in Springfield.
Finton told a federal judge was a part-time cook in a central Illinois fish and chicken restaurant.
Question for the FBI: Was Talib Islam plotting to blow up Burger King, too?
Famous But Incompetent might wanna check into that because I know that BK isn’t halal (most of the franchises aren’t), and reader Duane found his MySpace page, which features this pic, above, of Mr. Islam “visiting” his local BK palace. The page is also laden with jihadi, Malcolm X, and hip-hop stuff. Shocker. Plus his one MySpace subscription is to “Malik, the Meccan Warrior.”

Question #2 for the FBI: How many “strong Muslim womem [sic]” did he date, and how many of them knew of his plans but stayed silent?

I credit and congratulate the FBI agents who got this guy, but, sadly, their superiors at the agency–who continue to hang with and fete extremist Muslims–are part of the problem, not the solution.
**** UPDATE: Learning more about Talib Islam. He wanted to target Israel and Jews, and he idolized American Taliban John Walker Lindh.
After returning from a trip to Saudi Arabia in 2008, Finton met and told an individual, who turned out to be a law enforcement source, that he wanted to fight against Israelis in the Gaza Strip, according to the complaint.
In early 2009, “it appeared that Finton was on the verge of taking action, so it was decided to proactively provide him with an opportunity for action that we controlled, rather than merely hoping to be able to find out and stop him,” according to a government affidavit.
He was eventually introduced to an undercover FBI agent who began working with him to plot an attack, but Finton was repeatedly told he could walk away at any time, according to the Justice Department.
Eventually, Finton picked the federal building in Springfield as the target and on Wednesday he parked a van he believed carried one ton of explosives at the location, the complaint said.
Finton walked away and tried to detonate the bomb with a cell phone call, but instead of setting it off, he was arrested.
