HILARIOUS Video: “Jake Byrd” Invades ObamaCare Rally

By Debbie Schlussel

Longtime readers know I’m a fan of the hilarious “Jake Byrd,” a character on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” played by Kimmel writer/comedian Anthony “Tony” Barbieri.  Watch some of his great past Jake Byrd videos here, here, here, and here.

Recently, Jake Byrd visited a pro-ObamaCare rally that has all the typical liberal whiners pimping ObamaCare: a liberal doctor;  a shaved-head, earring-and-black-birth-control-goggles encrusted REM-lead singer look-alike;  a bearded long-haired dude wearing a military hat and Grenada disaster relief T (one word for Grenada disaster relief:  Reagan), who doesn’t have money for insurance but can afford to shop at over-priced natural food stores);  a violent guy wearing an anti-war t-shirt who pushes people around and knows an urban legend of a cousin of someone at work who lost their finger because of no healthcare (and a selfish cousin at work); a butch-looking chick who tells us to “do it for Kennedy, let’s do it for Ted,” etc.  It’s pretty funny.

Do it for Michael Jackson.

man its so easy to make lefties look like scumbags. Since they are so scummy to begin with all you need is a camera.

That guy is awesome and more than a little brave. Spoofing on those who take themselves and their causes way too seriously makes for some excellent comedy.

Oh HOLY CRAP! I was laughing so hard I had to pause it because my eyes were watering! “REM is right! Shining happy people need health care too!” The line about the colonic with a super soaker full of Sprite was insane. Classic stuff.

Actually it was Sprite zero-no carbs, calories or sugar, but hey, let’s not get hung up on the details!

The guy with the “peace” insignia on the back of his shirt resorted to violence (pushing and shoving) very quick. The disconect is startling. He probably doesn’t even reconcile his behavior with what he wears on his shirt. Talk about sleep walking!

Debbie – that was so funny what you wrote about the bald guy with the black glasses. They were standard issue when I was in the Corps. We also called them BC’s (birth control glasses). For those of you that don’t understand, they are called BC’s because if you wear them, no one of the opposite sex would want you to have sex with you. I can’t wait to see the next installment of Jake Byrd’s excellent comedic talent. I wonder if they take suggestions. I’d love to see them do the same thing with high ranking members of ACORN, SEIU, the New Black Panthers or any other radical organization that supports the Obama-Messiah.

Love this guy! If he goes to some of those other get togethers like the nbpp he’d better go strapped and wrapped.
“It’s okay I’ve got good insurance.” Niiice.

Interesting. Guy loses finger in a work accident and lost it because he didn’t have health insurance. Seems odd, I would have thought Worker’s Comp would cover that. No I’m sure it would, Liberal lie Fail!

Ron on September 14, 2009 at 11:36 am

It was an obvious LIE. And, then my Jake mocked him for it!

He’s MY VERY FAVORITE comedian. His press conference w/uber liberal Gloria Allred is his best work (snacking into the mic).

Funny on late night. Who knew it was still possible. Yeah, Jake Byrd. Since health care is employer driven in America, I am surprised the one person who expresses concern over Jake rolling down the hill doesn’t ask who employs him. But then again, that would mean those gathered who don’t work or pay taxes and want another handout would have even thought about employment. Ha!
