John Conyers: Secrets About His Sexual Harassment You Won’t Read Anywhere Else

By Debbie Schlussel

John & Monica Conyers, Politics’ Frankenstein & Bride Of

Later today, embattled sexual harasser Congressman John Conyers will announce whether or not he’ll retire. But there are some secrets and questions about his harassment nobody’s saying . . . and which you won’t read anywhere else but here.

For years, I’ve written–very critically–about Congressman-For-Life John Conyers, clownish liberal Democrat, tool of Islamic terrorists, and outright Communist. And I’ve skated around the edges of what I’ve long known–something that raises deeper questions about his current sexual harassment scandals and also his competence.

My late father, a Detroit-area physician, was well steeped in Detroit and Michigan politics. He also had several patients who were lobbyists for the “Big Three” auto companies. They told him a lot about their behind-the-scenes dealings. My dad said that it was always a well known “secret” that John Conyers was gay. He said that Conyers’ marriage to the very masculine and overbearing Monica Conyers was a cover-up and that Mrs. Conyers was his beard.

A prominent Conyers staffer confirmed this to me. In the course of my political dealings, I got to know a former high-ranking Conyers staffer. I asked the guy about what my father said. My friend–the Conyers staffer–frequently traveled with Conyers and told me that Conyers was as gay as Liberace. There was “no way,” he said, that John Conyers’ two sons with Monica Conyers were conceived naturally. Or, if they were, the Congressman was drunk, thinking of some guy while engaged in the act, or both. There have also been a lot of rumors that the very dominant Monica Conyers is a lesbian. She lived separately from John Conyers for extended periods of time, including three years at an Oklahoma law school, time in prison for her bribery conviction, and for, well, most of their 27-year marriage.

Given this, you might say I’m providing cover to Conyers with regard to the multiple sexual harassment claims against him, made by women–most of them his former female staffers. But you would be wrong. In fact, I’m not providing cover for Conyers at all. In fact, I believe the female staffers’ claims (at least one of which was paid off in a settlement consisting of $27,000 in taxpayer funds).

But there’s another factor at play here. John Conyers has been known to have at least some degree of dementia for decades. It’s no secret that–while he has moments of apparent lucidity–he is generally confused and clueless about what’s going on around him. I saw this first-hand for myself.

Back in November 2004–so, we’re talking 13 years ago–I went undercover to a pre-election event for the HAMAS front-group CAIR (the Council on American Islamic Relations). At the event, I was discovered and outed by some of the CAIR officials. They tried to embarrass me and get me to cower and leave, but I didn’t. Instead, it made me stay at the event longer than I’d planned to. These people don’t intimidate me. While John Conyers was on the stage answering questions, CAIR officials went to the microphone to introduce me, ask me questions, and call me out. John Conyers was entirely clueless and confused, He thought they were talking to him, even though it was clear they were not addressing him.

He’s just completely out of it, a lot of the time. This is a major part of the reason that Detroit’s major newspapers–both of which are very liberal (The Detroit News pretends to be conservative but isn’t at all)–have been calling for the retirement of 88-year-old Conyers for years. Although his heart is still beating, he is the Black version of Weekend at Bernie’s. He’s basically brain-dead, and is propped up by staffers.

So what does John Conyers’ dementia have to do with him being gay (allegedly) on the down-low and the accusations of sexual harassment by the women?

Well, I have a theory, and I think John Conyers proves me right. Regardless of all the lectures we get about homosexuality being innate and not a choice, I believe that people who are afflicted by dementia forget “which team they play for.” I haven’t seen any studies on this, but I’ll bet some university academic will get zillions to get the taxpayers to explore this irrelevancy.

Anyway, John Conyers has been mentally out of it for at least two decades, from what I hear. That would place his sexual harassment of women within the time that he probably started to forget he’s attracted to men.

Just an observation nobody’s raising. But, like I said, and like my Dad and the former high-ranking Conyers staffer said, John Conyers doesn’t like women. Or didn’t, until he just lost his mind and forgot altogether what it was that he liked.

***

So, if John Conyers, really is (or was, pre-dementia) gay, why haven’t we heard allegations of him harassing men? Well, maybe there are some of those, but we just don’t know about them yet. Or maybe not. Until recently, gay men didn’t want to be outed as gay and wouldn’t go public with such complaints. And in the Black community, this definitely isn’t done. There’s a reason the term “down-low” was coined, regarding Black men who are openly straight and secretly gay. Homosexuality just isn’t accepted in Black America, John Conyers’ base.

***

On Conyers’ decision today, I believe he’ll announce that he’s not seeking re-election and will retire at the end of his current term (which ends at the end of 2018). He is, after all, in the hospital in connection with all the hype surrounding his multiple alleged instances of harassing women. That kind of stress for something like this is more common with someone old, infirm, and . . . experiencing dementia and confusion.

But I highly doubt Conyers will resign. He will not allow White America–especially White Nancy Pelosi–tell him what to do. Or rather, since he has dementia, his mostly Black staffers and predominantly Black supporters in the Black Detroit community won’t allow it. They don’t want to look like they are taking instructions from White people. Yesterday (Monday), many prominent Detroit Black leaders (and Hezbollah supporting, Iran-connected Shi’ite Muslim Nasser Beydoun) held a rally to support Conyers not resigning. We can’t let crackaz tell us what to do.

Over the years, Conyers has had many well-financed Democratic primary opponents, but the Conyers name is like the Obama name in Detroit. A moldy tuna sandwich named “Conyers” would get elected.

In fact, that’s kinda what has been getting elected in Conyers’ Congressional district for decades.

***

Don’t celebrate if Conyers announces his retirement. His crazy wife/beard, Monica, a federal convict who took bribes as a Detroit City Councilwoman, would probably run for his seat. . . and get elected.

And if you think John Conyers is bad, you ain’t seen nothin’. Monica Conyers is the epitome of the saying, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”

Hi Debbie!,
Great insight into Conyer’s depravity and really the depravity of the left! I really really admire the undercover work that you have done in the past, going to CAIR events and even into mosques. That is incredibly brave and really dangerous but I admire it much.

Please post more often even if it is just a few thoughts.
HUGGGS!

Great insight and information Debbie. Anyone who is a leftist or Democrat already has dementia. Conyers may have preyed on males but they may reluctant to come out. This dirty old goat should be expelled from Congress, not allowed to retire next year.

I’ve copied your language above but made some substitutions:

“Barack Obama’s marriage to the very masculine and overbearing Michelle Obama is a cover-up and that Mrs. Obama is his beard.” Barack wrote in his poem “Pop” about amber stains and smelling his smell on his acting step daddy, Franklin Davis.

Concerned Citizen on December 5, 2017 at 10:43 am

Great post Debbie. I was wanting to know what’s the real deal Holyfield about “Count Chocula Conyers. Since that’s your neck of the woods you didn’t disappoint. For years of my following the detrimental antic of our “esteemed” Congressional Liberal Black Caucus old Johnny always seemed like an odd duck. I had no idea that the old buzzard pitched for the other team but it did seem that he was a confused man who should’ve been gone a long, long time ago. We all know that the calls of his fellow dementia patient Blinky Pelosi’s call for him to retire is just her saving face(no pun intended). You know that if the sexual harassment net that’s caught clowns like Matt Liar wasn’t active she wouldn’t care if Conyers was there. I feel as you do Debbie that Count Conyers isn’t going anywhere. They’ll find him Tango Uniform in his office if anything. If you had a spouse like crooked Monica to go home to would you leave. Heck no as she’s a bigger beard than fellow ABW Michelle Obama. Keep up the good work Debbie and like Karen said please post more often. Your reporting about something trivial like running water is far better that anything the liberal hack media does and that’s a fact.

Ken B on December 5, 2017 at 11:26 am

Just read that the Old Goat is retiring today. There must be a huge sh*t storm headed his way.

As a native daughter of Michigan, Debbie knows whereof she speaks.

Primetime on December 5, 2017 at 12:24 pm

Yeesh, he’s done, he may not set foot in DC again. Answering questions in a free for all press meeting would confirm what you say about his dementia.

Thanks Debbie, much appreciated exclusive insights!

Homosexuality may or may not be a choice, but it certainly is not innate, either. Especially when you have at play LGBT proselytizers in our schools working to convert our children to that lifestyle and recruit them into it. But that community does have a philosophy not unlike certain tenets of the Mafia or Islam: That once you join, you’re bound to it for life and can never be allowed to leave.

But that Conyers, to this point, would have skated with that aspect (besides the race card) is not too dissimilar to the cases of Barney Frank and Gerry Studds, and for the same reason: All are/were leftist Democrats.

Concerned Patriot on December 5, 2017 at 6:21 pm

Is heterosexuality innate? Assuming you’re hetero, when did you make the choice? And if it is a choice, who knows, you could turn gay at anytime.

Scott on December 5, 2017 at 8:15 pm

This is a fascinating article on many levels, in addition to presenting some stunning news about Conyers’ secret (to most of us) gay life. Although Debbie dismisses the psychological inquiry into whether or not gays or lesbians can forget their professed sexual orientations under conditions of dementia, saying “some university academic will get zillions to get the taxpayers to explore this irrelevancy,” upon my consideration of this possibility for the first time, I actually think this is a worthy area of investigation, not an irrelevancy.

Further, I disagree with Debbie that such a university psychological investigation would actually be funded and supported.

Here’s why. If, in fact, an elderly gay or lesbian person can forget his/her professed sexual orientation as dementia progresses, then this would add weight to the “old school” psychological thinking that homosexuality can be a form of mental illness and is something that is “learned” by the individual, rather than a “DNA” type trait not subject to an individual’s control.

Although Sigmund Freud held this “old school” of thought to a considerable extent, essentially concluding that the further away that sexuality becomes from procreation, the more the sexual activity can become a “perversion,” he was not the foremost analyst holding this view. The primary psychoanalyst holding the “old school” view was Edmund Bergler MD, author of “Homosexuality: Disease or Way of Life?” and many other books based on his extensive work treating homosexuals.

The last thing that leftist/liberal educational institutions would want to do would be to conduct a study of elderly gays and lesbians and have to ultimately report a conclusion supporting the “old school” view that homosexuality CAN be a mental illness. Bergler wasn’t attacked and ridiculed by the “new school” (i.e., those with the view that individuals are born homosexuals) for nothing.

In fact, the entire idea of personal responsibility for one’s life choices is anathema to the leftist way of thinking. So, on this particular point, I think academic research WOULD be a good thing. But I wouldn’t expect it to happen for the reasons I’ve given.

Ralph Adamo on December 5, 2017 at 6:37 pm

By your logic there should be many dementia patients who forget they’re heterosexual, and become gay. I haven’t read or heard about that happening.

Scott on December 5, 2017 at 8:28 pm

Scott, the fact that you haven’t read or heard about the sexual proclivities of people with dementia means nothing. Something is not deemed to be true only when you happen to hear about it and you can manage to understand it. The truth is not limited to your limited knowledge, abilities, and perceptions.

Dementia is an illness that science has only begun to address. And there have been few–if any–studies on how dementia affects gays and lesbians. In fact, there aren’t many studies of how dementia affects the sexuality of people in general, other to observe the obvious: elderly patients with dementia tend to show less interest in sex. It’s an area that could be deserving of further research and might yield interesting and helpful results, especially given that universities have engaged in costly research into far more trivial and obvious matters.

Ralph Adamo on December 6, 2017 at 1:55 am

I’m not the one with this new theory, Debbie is. So it’s up to her (and you if you buy into it) to provide evidence.

So far, neither of you have.

If sexuality is a choice as you and she seem to be implying, that means you yourself could wake up this morning, and suddenly change your mind and be attracted to men. Why not? If gays can change, why couldn’t you? Maybe you already have.

Of course it’s illogical. Why would someone choose to be gay, which all over the world to one degree or another is severely frowned upon, and then as many gays do stay in the closet. Many have tried marriage, conversion, and therapy and failed to change. Suicide is much higher among gays than straights.

It’s not chosen. There’s a theory gay brains are different, but it’s unproven at this point.

Scott on December 6, 2017 at 7:35 am

I’m inclined to the different brain structure theory as the reason for same sex attraction compared with other ‘born with’ theories such as DNA or a specific gene etc, i.e. a macro biological reason rather than a micro level explanation.

It would be interesting to see what a large scale study using MRI brain scans might throw on this theory.

In a kind of a way the interpretation placed on same sex attracted people resembles that put forward by support groups for people with Asperger’s syndrome, viz. that that it should be seen not as an aberration but as a normal occurrence, just different. MRI brain scans show the brains of male Asperger’s people to be different from the nuerotypical male brain and likewise for females but, interestingly, the Asperger’s female brain is very similar to the nuerotypical male brain, and the behaviors of adult Asperger’s females can be very domineering and bossy indeed.

In both cases though one can comment that although the inclination appears to be related to the brain structure one is born with this does not rule out choice, as behaviors are subject to conscious control.

Skunky on December 5, 2017 at 6:46 pm

Hello Skunky. Yeah I got that nickname for old Johnny because my kids like that chocolate cereal. I saw Conyers on TV and thought yep he looks just like Count Chocula. You have John Kerry as Frankenberry and Congressman Schiff for brains as Booberry because that dude looks creepy. It looks like the Count is packing it in and that he wants his son to take over. It also seems that his nephew also wants to run the Conyers corruption train for the next 50 year. I just love racist democrat drama early in the morning don’t you.

    Ken B on December 6, 2017 at 6:53 am

Debbie, you’re “theory” is laughable. If it’s correct, where are all the demented homosexuals who “forgot” they were heterosexuals?

And don’t give us the tired bull how you don’t care who someone sleeps with whom but don’t shove it in your face.

People who say that phony line are only offended by gay couples holding hands and other g-rated acts of public affection. Straight couples doing the same things doesn’t offend anyone including you.

You should stick to discussing the Islamic threat and Israel. Those are the only topics in which you make sense.

S: Absolutely wrong. In fact, as I’ve repeatedly noted, I am sickened and annoyed by public displays of affection by BOTH straight and gay couples. I don’t wanna see any of that. Get a room. DS

Scott on December 5, 2017 at 8:55 pm

Debbie, I don’t believe for a second that the sight of a straight couple (especially a married couple) doing g-rated things such as walking down the street holding hands or walking arm-in-arm sickens you. If it does, you’ve got issues.

No, it’s only gay couples doing those things that sickens you.

Your attempt to appear “consistent” doesn’t wash.

It’s a good bet if the islamofascists and their apologists on the left (and some on the right)get wind of your theory, they’ll try to use it to not only discredit you as a crackpot, but discredit everyone who speaks truth about muslims.

Scott on December 6, 2017 at 7:02 am

If the latest stories are accurate, it looks like that lying Trump is going to wimp out and sign another waiver delaying the movement of the US embassy to Jerusalem, while at the same time “officially” recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

His recognition is a phony, worthless gesture. Offically, the US supposedly recognized Jerusalem when Bill Clinton signed the toothless embassy act in 1995.

Every day we delay the move is not only appeasement to evil, it’s also justice denied.

Trump was a liar as a businessman, and a liar as president.

Scott on December 5, 2017 at 9:04 pm

Scott, you’re not informed. When the President recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, it’s not a “worthless gesture” as you put it. European nations and scores of Arab nations aren’t expressing deep hostility to such an action because they view it as a “worthless gesture.”

Furthermore, according to law, the President has sole authority over U.S. policy in this matter. The U.S. Supreme Court established the law on this matter in the case of Zivotofsky v. Kerry (2015). The Court held that the President, not Congress, has the exclusive power to recognize (or not recognize) foreign nations and their capitals. Thus, the ball was in Clinton’s court and he passed. Same for George W. Bush and Barack Obama. And I’m 100% certain that Hilary Clinton would have passed too had she been elected President.

President Trump will make history if he follows through on his promise, becoming the first U.S. President ever to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Ralph Adamo on December 6, 2017 at 1:31 am

Trump can and should move that embassy right NOW. The Israelis have said they could to set up a temporary embassy in a couple of hours. There is ZERO justification for the delay (according to CNBC) it could take years.

Trump and his staff have already displayed Clintonian skill at word parsing.

Trump says he recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but as I and others have observed, he hasn’t closed the door on declaring it ALSO as the pali capital.

In other words, he hasn’t ruled out a DIVIDED JERUSALEM.

      That’s the reason he’s stalling.

As I stated, every day the move is delayed, is not only an injustice to Israel, but also appeasement to evil.

Of course the arabs muslims, Eurowimps, and lefties are screaming. They want to keep the pressure on Trump to keep him from moving the embassy. So far it’s working.

Scott on December 6, 2017 at 7:19 am

Wrong again, Scott. You fail to appreciate the significance of President Trump’s historic decision. And though some, like Senator Dick Durbin, question the “timing” of his decision, the timing was perfect, occurring just 6 days before Hanukkah starts at sundown, 19 days before Christmas Day, and 26 days before the start of 2018.

And while the Leftist media falsely characterize the President’s action as “red meat” to please mega-donor Sheldon Adelson and the Christian Evangelical Community, the fact is that former Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama promised to do exactly the same thing. The only difference has been that President Trump actually kept his word.

Consequently, President Trump should be given the benefit of the doubt that he will also follow through on his pledge to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. There is no reason to doubt him at this time.

The following video clip of Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump tell the story.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLfK6Ib6cXI

Ralph Adamo on December 11, 2017 at 2:28 am

          No sir,you are wrong.

He signed another waiver. His Secretary of State said NOTHING will change. The US has stated persons born in Jerusalem will NOT have Israel on their passports. Trump said NOTHING about East Jerusalem.

His administration has said the move will take YEARS.

Now there are politicians in Israel who are privately expressing concern that the failure to mention East Jerusalem is causing countries such as the Czech Republic to announce they’re going to move their embassies to WEST JERUSALEM.

In other words, between maintaining the status quo, the long delay in moving the embassy, and Trump’s failure to use the term UNDIVIDED JERUSALEM, he’s made it clear he still supports a TWO STATE solution with a DIVIDED JERUSALEM. Otherwise, he would have said Jerusalem will stay united, and he would have moved the embassy right away.

He lies frequently about many things, and yet you put your faith in him. That’s your choice.

On Conyers, at one level, it would be funny seeing internecine family squabbles tearing the Dems in that seat apart. Enough of that, and the seat may even go GOP? Also funny – the race card being played against Pelosi.

On Jerusalem, I applaud the president deciding to move the embassy, but really, why make that a project involving designers, architects and engineers, when we already have a consulate there and the labels can be changed? Don’t we have the hands of all those technical experts full w/ building the WALL? POTUS likes doing things on time and under budget, and this one was a golden opportunity to do just that. Namely, just change the signs, upgrade Jerusalem to an embassy & downgrade Tel Aviv to a consulate. That way, he wouldn’t need another waiver, and the embassy can be ready tomorrow!

That said, I do laud him for doing something that even Bush XLIII didn’t. Also, if Turkey is pissed at this, why don’t they sever relations w/ US, rather than just Israel? They haven’t been an ally since the Iraq war, & are even more dangerous an adversary than Iran

Infidel on December 7, 2017 at 11:17 am

Don’t be fooled by this BS talk by Trump.

Trump has said NOTHING about an UNDIVIDED Jerusalem.

I believe the reason he didn’t say the word undivided is because he still has fantasies about a “two-state” solution with a DIVIDED and JOINTLY-OWNED Jerusalem.

As you and others have said, it doesn’t take years to move the embassy, he could set up a TEMPORARY embassy in a couple of hours.

This is a STALLING TACTIC to keep the Evangelicals and other pro-Israel groups off his back while he still pursues his fantasy two-state peace plan.

    Don’t be fooled.

Scott on December 8, 2017 at 5:02 pm

Human beings are obviously hard wired to heterosexuality.
If they weren’t, the hominid evolutionary lineage would not have lasted one million years and counting.

Additionally, I ‘m amused by people counting the resignations.

Al Franken did NOT resign.

Al Franken WILL NOT resign.

His immature self-serving speech is a diversionary tactic.

He is an arrogant power drunk pig who will not resign.

JayPee on December 8, 2017 at 2:13 pm

Trump has openly said that he supports a 2-state solution only if both sides agree to it. If Israel is stupid enough to recognize a Pali state, it’s tough to expect the US to be more pro-Israel than Israel itself

Also, recognizing Jerusalem as the capital has nothing to do w/ whether the city is undivided. Before 1967, when it was divided, West Jerusalem was still the capital of Israel, but that didn’t stop every country in the world from pretending that the capital was in Tel Aviv. The argument over Jerusalem’s status has nothing to do w/ who owns East Jerusalem: it’s a part of the wet dreams of the Mohammedans as well as the Europeans to see an end to the state of Israel

Infidel on December 10, 2017 at 9:49 pm

It’s funny how Trump supporters have so eagerly adopted Bill Clinton’s word parsing techniques.

The last 3 presidents including Trump have said they support a 2 state solution negotiated by both sides, so there’s nothing new there. The ONLY reason Netanyahu has even given lip service (and not doing a good acting job at it)to any sort of 2 state solution is the unrelenting pressure from the US and the world but especially from the US.

The Trump administration has made it clear we don’t recognize East Jerusalem as being part of Israel until BOTH sides agree to it.

Nikki Haley made that clear last week.

Israel, of course has made it clear East Jerusalem is part of Israel. So the standoff continues.

There’s no point in making declarations about Jerusalem and hollow promises to move the embassy years from now if we don’t recognize ALL of Jerusalem as being part of Israel and ONLY Israel.

Scott on December 11, 2017 at 3:54 pm

Scott, you raise several valid points, but I don’t think that those who are pro-Israel have been fooled (if you want to use that word) into believing that the President’s official statement represents 100% commitment to Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. Most view the President’s action as only one step in that direction. Advocates for Israel well understand the limitations of the President’s statement and view it only as a first step.

What you’re basically saying is that Trump didn’t deliver an out-of-the-park home run. And that is certainly true. By taking an incremental approach, Trump has only delivered what is tantamount to a midfield hit that gets to first base. So we have an historic first step, but just a first step nonetheless.

However, even if Trump had refused to sign the waiver, moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem would only represent another hit to get to second base. Establishing an Embassy in Jerusalem is still a largely symbolic action.

Although the Supreme Court decision in Zivotofsky v. Kerry, the case I mentioned earlier, gives the President the sole authority to officially recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the real game changer and total commitment can only occur when the US State Department officially recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. And that will only happen when Trump finally takes charge of the State Department.

So far, Trump has not taken charge of the State Department nor many other agencies. And the State Department is, indeed, part of the Deep State apparatus that many Trump supporters, including me, have railed against. When Deep State representatives like Rex Tillerson are appointed, nothing significant changes. (Not for nothing have many Trump supporters called for the firing of Tillerson, McMaster, and any number of other members of the Deep State.)

The US State Department is, unfortunately, riddled with anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, and, yes, anti-America moles. But Trump has thus far failed to address the challenge of the Deep State by perfomring the wholesale firing that needs to be done to clean house.

Only one US President in American history has had the courage to directly take on the Deep State and that was John F. Kennedy when he fired the top leadership of the CIA, another Deep State agency, including director Allen Dulles and deputies Charles Cabell and Richard Bissell, as he began to fulfill his private promise to “shatter the CIA into a thousand pieces.” And we all know how that plan worked out for JFK.

Will Trump get the courage to ultimately take on the Deep State? That remains to be seen. If he does, he’d better have his own security force to protect him.

Meanwhile, Trump does seem to be committed to taking a shot to get to second base by establishing the US Embassy in Jerusalem, an act that would still not change official US State Department policy until Trump forces his hand, as I’ve said. I believe that Trump will ultimately follow through with that specific promise, but at the rate things are going, the Embassy move won’t likely happen until Trump’s first term is nearing an end.

Ralph Adamo on December 12, 2017 at 6:39 pm

Trump is quite possibly the most unfit man to ever be president. I voted for him with extreme reluctance, with the long shot hope he would somehow grow into the office, but so far he shows ZERO signs of that.

He was a immature jerk as a private citizen and maybe even WORSE now that he’s president.

He had a lot nerve bragging how he kept his promise when previous presidents haven’t, then he signs the waiver.

Deep state notwithstanding, Trump is the president, and if he issues a direct order to the State dept, they’re required to obey, regardless of their anti-Semitism and contempt for Israel. Suffice to say it’s highly unlikely they defy a direct order, or that a president would tolerate it.

This whole discussion shouldn’t be necessary. He should have recognized ALL of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, and immediately open a provisional embassy.

As it stands now, the US still refuses to list Israel on a Jerusalem birth certificate.

I believe this announcement of his was a charade to solidify his Evangelical base, who were getting restless about Trump’s failure to keep his promise, while also buying time for his fantasy 2 state peace plan.

Alabama did the right thing. To hell with a predator. Gives me a little more confident in Americans to use their brains and do the right thing.

DisgustedAtYouPeople on December 12, 2017 at 10:38 pm

We did do the right thing. That’s why President Trump is in the White House and not the corrupt PIAPS.

    Ken B on December 13, 2017 at 10:29 am

Re ‘Disgusted’s’ cracks about Alabama: They did the LEFT thing. They put in a pro-abortion extremist and big-league Hillary supporter. They left their brains outside the polling precincts and voted solely with their emotions, swayed by the endless smears, defamations and character assassinations churned out on an hourly basis by the leftist propaganda machine of Bezos, the Deep State, Fusion GPS et al. But the other big winner in that whole Alabama imbroglio was the sleaze merchant Larry Flynt who, as he has gotten older, has begun to look more and more like Jabba the Hutt from the “Star Wars” movies. The cascade of allegations against Roy Moore (regardless of Debbie’s views on the subject which I have read on her Twitter page) had all the earmarks of previous smear/hit/takedown jobs by the dead-from-the-waist-down Hustler publisher, who is notorious for offering big bucks to people to crawl out of the woodwork to do his bidding in bringing down anybody with an ‘R’ next to their name, regardless of whether they’re conservative or not. I’m sure as I’m sitting here that Flynt had paid those three women now calling on Congress to investigate President Trump over allegations of sexual misconduct. (After all, before the Moore accusations began to come out, Flynt offered huge sums to people to facilitate his drive to bring down the President.) If they prevail in this bid by the Left to overthrow Trump by coup, all of America will be the BIG LOSER. Never mind all the small details about The Donald. The big picture – the Supreme Court, Obamacare, doing away with the Left’s pet “net neutrality” fetish, etc. – now hang in the balance like a loose tooth.

Alabama did the liberal thing? Another dolt Trump supporter with the morality of trash. Please. Moore is sick in the head

DisgustedAtYouPeople on December 15, 2017 at 11:29 pm

Oh and Ben Carson what the hell? Al Green asked him basic questions anyone in Bens position should be able to answer. But nope, Ben unqualified. This admin is a laughing stock.

DisgustedAtYouPeople on December 15, 2017 at 11:48 pm

With all due respect, it is a prime example of the Josef Goebbels “Big Lie” philosophy of “if you repeat a lie long enough, and often enough, eventually everyone will come around to believing it as the truth.” That Alabamians allowed the Northern elitist left-wing noise and smear machine to determine Roy Moore and allow themselves to be unduly influenced by same speaks very poorly of them. No, the ones who are “sick in the head” are those who abandoned time-tested principles and voted for someone who is an out-and-out leftist ideologue who will march in unquestioned lockstep with and to the Commie/statist agenda – and are in every which way diametrically opposite to EVERYTHING Alabamians supposedly hold near and dear. It was a classic case of the Big Lie having reached and crossed the finish line while the truth didn’t even get around to putting on their shoes yet, let alone tying them.

And that crack of Ben Carson being “unqualified” clearly does smack of condescending racism, not to mention contempt towards any African-American that does not slavishly toe the Sharpton/Jackson/Farrakhan/NAACP/New Black Panthers/BLM party line. (Never mind Debbie’s own issues as she has detailed, and which I am familiar with about Carson.)

Concerned Patriot on December 16, 2017 at 7:25 am

CP. Good comments. But Alabama did not swing to supporting Jones. The Moore supporters swung on their front porch instead showing up at the polls. Turnout for Moore was way down…. in line with the ad that promised community ridicule if they voted for a child molester. Both out and out lies. But it worked.

Alabama went Beta Male in 2017. Hope it was temporary.

    jcp

JC on December 16, 2017 at 2:03 pm

@JC: It does not speak well of Alabamians who would have turned out for Moore that they were so easily buffaloed, blackmailed and bullied into NOT exercising their voter rights – voter intimidation and suppression, in other words. The kind of thing – the tacticology – that would have led to a civil rights investigation if this were being pulled in urban minority communities. But since it was whites, especially rural ones, whose vote was deliberately and maliciously suppressed, who in the halls of power cares? After all, these are the “deplorables” whom Hillary so infamously spit at, no? But unfortunately, also, with the feminization, homosexualization and even transgenderization of our boys, there will yet be far more beta males – or, as Debbie has aptly referred to them, “girlie-men” – who will easily fold like a cheap fan under the slightest pressure, and this will not bode well at all for our side in future high-stakes elections. So, I’m afraid, this is not even remotely “temporary,” but an auguring of a permanent long-term trend. Especially since the Democrat-Socialist Left plays so dirty and gets in bed with the most disreputable elements (such as Larry Flynt or George Soros) to achieve their ends.

Concerned Patriot on December 17, 2017 at 3:02 pm

Whether or not Ben Carson is black, the fact remains that he IS unqualified to head HUD. The man had zero previous experience in housing and urban policy. Indeed, were he not black, he would not have been nominated. He’s an affirmative action and political hire rolled into one. Dr. Carson should be Surgeon General, not HUD secretary.

DisgustedAtYouPeople on December 17, 2017 at 1:27 am

One problem, history states otherwise. The Great depression, Reagan’s recession and Bush’s recession shared one common theme. Massive tax cuts for businesses and the rich. All Republican Presidents and each followed within 1 1/2 years

DisgustedAtYouPeople on December 17, 2017 at 9:58 pm

    You know NOTHING of history.
The great depression might have started with the stock market collapse of 1929
which was created by the extreme tightening of credit by the Federal Reserve
( An unconstitutional creation by Woodrow Wilson and his Democrat panderers of the rich )

Ever hear of Jeckyl Island ?

    Talk to any economic historian
The worst years of the great depression were
    1938-1939
When FDR was well into his second term.

Had Roosevelt’s presidency been confined to two terms,
he would have been remembered as a failure.

WW2 brought America out of the great depression that was clearly worsened by Roosevelt’s socialist transformation of the country.

Quite namely, the destruction of the family farmers, who
WERE the middle class before WW2.

    Right out of Karl Marx
How the bourgeois must be destroyed.

Why does anyone think the democrats oppose
giving the middle class a tax break
and lyingly call it a tax cut for the rich ?

The existence of the middle class stands in the way of their communist vision of the future.

And I call it communist because it is precisely
    what they desire.

JayPee on December 18, 2017 at 7:48 pm

You’re incorrect. The worst years for the depression were 1932-33 with unemployment peaking at 24% in 1933.

      Unemployment in 1938 was 19%

What happens when a fly falls into a coffee cup?

The Italian – throws the cup and walks away in a fit of rage.

The Frenchman – takes out the fly, and drinks the coffee.

The Chinese – eats the fly and throws away the coffee.

The Israeli – sells the coffee to a Frenchman and the fly to a Chinese person, buys himself a new cup of coffee, and uses the extra money to invent a device that prevents flies from falling into coffee.

The Palestinian – blames the Israeli for the fly falling into his coffee, protests the act of aggression to the UN, takes a loan from the European Union for a new cup of coffee, uses the money to purchase explosives and then blows up the coffee house where the Italian, the Frenchman, and the Chinese are trying to explain to the Israeli why he should give away his cup of coffee to the Palestinian.

When Obama took office at the start of his first term, the DOW was at 7949.09.
The country was on the verge of a recession!
When Obama left office on 1/20/17
Gas was $2.33 per gal. (Reg.)
Dow was at 19,819
NASDAQ was at 5560.7
Unemployment was 4.7%
Now who did what?

DisgustedAtYouPeople on December 27, 2017 at 1:16 am

DAYP–You’re deluding yourself. Thing improved in America during Obama’s presidency not because of Obama, but because the economic damage that Bush and his banker buddies inflicted on the nation subsided after Bush left.

But with Trump taking charge, you can see for the first time what a difference a real President can make. When Obama left office, the Dow stood at 19,732. Today, under Trump, it’s 24,744 after about one year in office, a 25.4% rise.

The biggest difference, ironically, is that blacks in America are faring far better under Trump than they did under Obama. From 2009-2015, under Obama, the income of blacks fell by more than $900 per family (including single parent families). Under Trump, the black unemployment rate dropped by a full 1% and jobs for blacks have increased by 600,000 in just the last year. The rate of monthly job growth under Trump has been 40% higher than under Obama.

Trump has simply proven what smart people have long known. An engineered economy does not result in a better economy. A free market economy results in a better economy.

In today’s world you basically have two main choices about how to run the economy. And the funny thing is that architects of each of these two opposing schools of thought were Jews. America could have gone the Saul Alinsky way (as with Obama, Clinton, and Sanders) or they could have gone the Milton Friedman way.

Fortunately, Americans seemed to express that they have had enough of the Alinksy way, and wanted to give the Friedman way a chance for a change. Although Trump isn’t fully in line with the Friedman mode of operation, he’s much closer to it than we would have had if Clinton had won. And America is the better for it. It’s a simple as that.
