EXCLUSIVE: Iran Fabricated Story of Refusing to Play Israelis To Cover Up Loss in Tennis

By Debbie Schlussel

The government of Iran is so anti-Israel and so anti-Semitic (same thing) that it makes up fictional Israeli teams it “refuses to play” in order to cover up losses to other Western teams. That’s the case with Iranian tennis players who lost to Australians a week ago. Instead of a loss, Iran presented the story as “they refused to play Israelis.” But that’s not what happened.

Last week, I saw a “news” story on the site of Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), more accurately titled FFUCYU–Fiction and Fairytales Unceasingly Communicated to You Universally. The story–which was repeated by “reputable” media outlets around the world without checking–was that Iranian tennis player Amirvala Madanchi (also, “Amir Vala Madanchi”) and his “American” doubles partner beat Italian and Polish doubles teams in the Georgia Futures Competitions tennis tournament also known as the Telavi Open (not to be confused with the Tel Aviv Open in Israel). The tournament took place in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia (not the American state of the same name). Iran also claimed that the men quit in the semifinals of the tournament, rather than play against Israelis, er . . . members of “the Zionist regime.” (A reprint and a screenshot of the story are below–you must click on it to view the full screenshot.)

Iranian tennisser refuses to play vs. Israeli team in Georgia

Tehran, Aug 10, IRNA – Iranian tennis player Amir Vala Madanchi and his partner refused to play with Israeli players during the Men’s Doubles matches in Georgia Futures Competitions underway in the Caucasian country.

The Iranian tennisser and his American partner had overpowered Italy and Poland in the first round of the games. However, Vala Madanchi preferred to quit the semi final stage by refusing to compete with the representatives of the Zionist regime.

In a move to demonstrate their refusal to recognize the Tel Aviv regime, Iranian athletes do not take part in sports competitions against representatives of the Zionsit [sic] entity in the international fields.

(The story marks the first time I’ve ever heard a tennis player referred to as a “tenniser.”)

I did some digging because I wanted to know the name of the American anti-Semite so I could embarrass him and ask the US Tennis Association what it planned to do about this Jew-hatred. But when I looked up the complete main draw for the men’s doubles portion of the tournament (which lists the competitors, their countries, whom they played, and their scores), I saw that the whole story was a lie. And there was no American partner. In fact, it’s pretty clear the story is an attempt by Iran to embarrass Israel (by making up the “we refused to play story” and the “American doubles partner”) and spare Iranian players the embarrassment of losing to Westerners . . . again.

In fact, Mr. Madanchi’s doubles partner in Georgia was NOT an American, but a fellow Iranian, Shahin Khaledan. And while they beat two Italians, their next opponents weren’t both from Poland (one of them was German). After that, Madanchi and Khaledan played Australians Thomas Fancutt and William Mitchell Robins (neither of whom is an “evil Zionist”), and the Iranians got beaten 6-3, 6-4 by the Aussies. There were no Israelis playing in this tennis tournament. None. The claim otherwise is just complete and total fiction. A screenshot from the International Tennis Federation draw of the tournament is below (click on it to see the whole thing).

Unlike Barack Obama, John Kerry, and Hillary Rodham Cankles, I never believe anything the Iranians say. Never have. Never will. But Iranian athletes have refused to compete against Israelis in several past sporting events (and Muslims have refused to ride on the bus with and shake the hands of Israeli athletes they just lost to, in the current Summer Olympic Games, as they have in other games), so this is a believable story. Also, I figured something that could be easily verified–tennis tournament players, scores, countries of origin, etc.–wouldn’t be a lie they’d tell. Wrong.

Iran will say anything anytime no matter how false. And, yet, the international press repeats this BS that comes out of its “news agency.”

And “our” President repeats their promises and assurances as the truth.

When they can’t even tell the truth about a minor tennis tournament loss.

That’s taqiyyah. And that’s Islam.

Yup.

Its not just Jews they feel inferior to, its to the West.

And Muslim psychology doesn’t handle loss very well.

In honor/shame societies like Iran, honor is upheld by lying to preserve it.

That’s the difference between them and us and that’s why the twain will never meet.

Iran also does not seem to understand that running away from your opponent or being rude is in no way honorable. It is a sign of rank cowardice. Societies in which the Honor/Shame dynamic is operative are some of the most primitive ones.

Why do they even bother playing tennis? Where in the quran is there any mention of tennis? Or soccer? Or Olympics? Or any other sport, for that matter? They should just get back to the sole Islamic sport – stoning women, gays & adulterers

An Iranian chess grand master? In Islam, chess is haram, i.e. forbidden. I’m surprised chess has not been entirely outlawed. A more popular pastime is killing stray dogs. In Islam, kicking puppies and torturing them is just fine.

I have been struck by the fact in the last few days that Egypt and Saudi Arabia have been getting more criticism in the press for their unsportsmanlike conduct towards Israel than I might have expected.

I even wondered briefly if the mainstream media was becoming more friendly towards Israel. But I soon realized that such a thing would never happen. They would always be harsh towards Israel. But Egypt and Saudi Arabia are not that comfortable with the U.S. embrace of Iran, which puts them at odds with U.S. policy. And, of course, they are Undemocratic, especially the evil Egyptians who imprisoned the democratically-elected Morsi.

And I think this explains the unexpectedly widespread criticism, of their unsportsmanlike conduct towards Israel. Also, perhaps they are doing what they can to deepen the wedge between Israel on the one hand, and Egypt and Saudi Arabia on the other.

Thank you for sharing that, Debbie.

In the whole scheme of things, this might be easily dismissed as unimportant. That is not the case.

Moreover, I congratulate you for finding news outside of the same mainstream garbage we hear day in and day out.

This is a documented lie by Iranian government controlled media. Moreover, it is verifiable as a lie.

Thank you for reporting “news you can use”.

Sincerely,

“… I never believe anything the Iranians say. Never have. Never will….”

Me neither, Debbie. Considering the nature of the beast, you couldn’t believe the Iranians even if they swore they were lying.

The satanic religion of Islam has made the Iranians delusional. Persia could be a great nation if it wasn’t for that delusion.

Debbie,

It’s amazing how lazy and incompetent these Urinalists are. Your quick and accurate research by just yourself proves how worthless the MSM actually is!

Good article Debbie and I’m with you. If the crazy imams of Iran told me the following I wouldn’t believe a freaking word:
No we aren’t building nukes.
No we love to have peace in the Middle East.
No we love Israel and wish them the best.
No we really love to play tennis against the infidel dogs, er we mean the lovely Israeli players.
No we really did love that movie by Ben Affleck.
No we really do think that Obama is a smart man and great US president.
No we we’re laughing our turbans and rags off when the American National Security Advisor Susan Rice said that the 150b in unfrozen funds due to the Iran “deal” might be used to fund terror groups like HAMAS. Well duh!
No during the Iran deal talks our delegation didn’t put a kick me hard sign on John Kerry’s back. We did however offer him knee pads for his constant groveling to get the deal done. He said he already had a pair.
Ok that last one I might believe that the mad Iranian mullahs wouldn’t be lying. It is funny that they would go to such lengths to try to fool anyone just to maintain their so called honor in the face of we “infidels”. Well news flash dirt bags we “infidels” know what you guys and gals are and where your coming from. Whether you’re a tennis player from Tehran or a fencer from New Jersey we’ve got your number in sports as well as life and so does Israel. Game set match.

Sportsmanship, is a subject for a free mentality. Debbie has nailed the matter very well. Coming straight on the heals of being exposed, another bunch of cry babies.
The article below exposes these losers and their SISSIHOOD.
