Detroit Publick Skoolz Propaganda “Art” Lessons – Check This Outrage Out . . .
Some Detroit-area public school kids got some really weird “art” lessons, last week.
I’m all for teaching young kids about art appreciation, but not at the expense of the three Rs (Reading, Writing and Arithmetic, for those of you in Dearbornistan). However, it looks like some Detroit-area public schools are deliberately confusing “art” with liberal political indoctrination and Democratic Party campaign posters. Last week, “artist” Curtis Lewis put his “murals” on display in a presentation to kids on a tour to various Detroit-area public schools, including the Beech Elementary School in Redford Township. Redford is a working-class suburb contiguous to Detroit, which used to be mostly White and is now mostly Black with some vestiges of White working-class families.
Check out the photos, below. One of them is basically a gushing Hillary Clinton campaign poster, complete with photos of fiction (Hillary and Bill kissing EACH OTHER! passionately and looking adoringly into each other’s eyes). Another is titled, “Audacity of Change,” and is a Lewinsky-on-canvas to Barack Obama. In case there was any doubt that this was about something other than “art,” this “art initiative” was kicked off by Michigan Democratic Party Vice Chairwoman Nancy Quarles, who introduced the propagandist, er . . . “artist” Lewis.
More from the Detroit Newsistan, which also didn’t bother to ask any tough questions and acted like this political campaign cross-dressing as an art lesson was actually the real thing:
A Metro Detroit artist kicked off an initiative Thursday aimed at promoting arts education and encouraging students to pursue excellence in area schools. During a visit to Beech Elementary School in Redford Township, Curtis Lewis displayed murals he painted of President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a Demcratic presidential candidate. Lewis, school officials and Michigan Democratic Party Vice Chairwoman Nancy Quarles also addressed students.
“Exposing children to images and stories of excellence are vital to their success and are an investment in our children and society as a whole,” said Lewis. “Art is meant to inspire us to be fearless and make a positive difference in the world.”
Other schools included in the “Be Inspired” tour are Redford Learning Academy, a township charter school, and three schools in Detroit: MacKenzie Elementary-Middle School, Chrysler Elementary School and Detroit Service Learning Academy.
Those are all public schools or public, tax-funded charter schools.
Lewis’ publishing company, World Class Icon LLC, hopes to raise $15,000 to distribute 5,000 coloring books that include images of Obama and Clinton to Metro Detroit students.
By the way, don’t expect the Michigan Republican Party or its many legislators who control both Houses of the Michigan Legislature to do anything about this. They’ve basically given up and won’t fight for equal time. Plus, they’re lazy. As I mentioned, the Michigan GOP is run by congenital GOPer Ronna Romney McDaniels, who got the job because she was the egg fertilized by the right sperm (Romney sperm), and she’s largely an ineffective lightweight do-nothing lazy ass.
FYI, here’s my art lesson for Detroit-area public school kids:

Cheap leftist indoctrination and propaganda is being promulgated as ” Art ” ?
Paul J. Goebbels didn’t rise to this level of insulting arrogance.
Is this part of ” Common Core ” or perhaps ” Commune Corps ” .
Just speculating on the direction the country’s going in.
Just questioning the goals of the so-called ” Democrat ” party.
