Howard Stern on Debbie Schlussel in Today’s Detroit Free Press
By
Here’s what Howard Stern had to say about me in today’s Detroit Free Press:
“And there may be room somewhere for metro Detroit conservative gadfly Debbie Schlussel, a regular caller to his current show.
‘I was listening to a tape of hers the other day. I said, ‘I’ve got to give Debbie some airtime on the channel.’ I’m going to do something with Debbie. I like Debbie. She’s very polarizing, which, hey, I can relate to.’
That’s always been Stern’s defense, that he’s a divisive figure only because the public isn’t used to honesty from the media.”
Although I’m steeled to the many unfounded insults hurled my way over the years, I’m not sure why the reporter of this piece chose to gratuitously, falsely insult me by calling me a “gadfly,” since she frequently contacts me for quotes for various stories she writes in the Free Press. I wonder if she: 1) even knows what “gadfly” means; and 2) would like it if I called her “a hackneyed pop culture blowhard reporteratrix.” I think the answer is probably “no” on both counts.

OK Debbie, let’s get to the real issue. What do you think of Howard moving to satellite and will you be there too?
