Our servicemen/women were disarmed by Clinton, but it looks like a similar policy was in effect with Bush I as well. Why didn’t ‘W’ fix it when he got into office after Clinton? I’ve seen soldiers who were ordered to duty at airports a few weeks after 9/11/01 carry rifles with no bullets. And I was ordered to Iraq, where I carried a useless hunk of steel, minus the bullets, while on bases and FOBs, as well. I’ve been dressed down by a female non-rate, while armed, in uniform, for bringing a weapon into a Navy Hospital. She explained to me that “corpsemen” fix all the damage that my weapon has caused; I thought that was strange because I’ve never used it for any such thing as she imagined.
Instead of having small arms at hand, for well trained military folks, we get spineless politicians who leave them hanging out to dry. The U.S.S. Cole, Quantico, Ft. Hood, etc., etc., and now, Tennesee. This won’t be the last time.

Those who are pro-gun control fascists will possibly ask the question of how did he get the gun? If the question is asked, when he bought the gun, did they do a background check on him (Dylan Roof wasn’t checked when he bought his gun)?

But the major question ought to be since its about him, and the gun that he used is a non-sequitur and irrelevant, is precisely how he immigrated to this country, is he heard legally or illegally? And both this current administration and previous administrations antecedent to Obama are to be blamed, because when both Clinton and Bush were president, they enable extraordinary Muslim immigration into this country, which is a very sketchy issue. But on the other hand is that, still according to the 2010 US Census Bureau, Muslims account for 0.9% of the American population, and nowhere near being a majority!

Another overlooked aspect of this story is the question of Kuwait’s gratitude – or more precisely, the absense of it. Despite the fact that were it not for us, that country would today have been Iraq’s 19th province.

Just like Kuwait was never our ally, same is true about our other Muslim ‘allies’ – Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Emirates, et al. Yet, their citizens can get visas to the US as smoothly as in having travel agents do it for them, while people of other countries, including Mexico, have to wait in line.

Don’t expect that to be solved by Jeb Bush or Trump. I do have higher expectations from Scott Walker, though.

The liberals are so far off base with this that it is hard to believe they are serious and not just trying to put one over.

But the conservatives are disappointing as well. It is ‘radical Islam’, and the other cliche is that personnel on military bases should be armed. True, but insufficient.

As has been said here countless times, it is Islam as a whole, and arming personnel, while important, is defensive. I’d really like to hear one of these politicians go on the offensive; scrutinize the mosques, one by one, round up all suspicious characters as was done during World War II, obviously curtail Muslim immigration, get the illegals out of here, but none of them are saying this.

The talk show hosts spend most of their time criticizing Obama, and, truthfully, he set a new low in his reaction, but again, insufficient.

And we need more than a few soundbites on Fox News; we need conservatives traveling the country, making speech after speech about how to go on the offensive.

Im sitting here think. Thinking of something off topic. I’ve said on here, how I refuse to watch any of those racial movie that Hollyweird makes and think they are doing Blacks a service by making them. Movies like Django, 12yrs slave, on and on and on, there are plenty to choose from. I refuse to watch because I don’t want to come out of a theater mad.
Those movies serve no purpose but to keep anger and resentment going. Thats all. Black folks should be mad, mad at the fact that we are constantly reminded of this crap. The days of yore. Screw that.
Now imagine, as a Black person, you come out of a movie, whether it be Amistad, or 12 yrs a Slave or whatever. Then you come home, turn on tv, you have a questionable case shown to you all night (pick Eric Gardner or idk the brotha shot in his back, back south, hobbling away. Now ask yourself, how in the hell does that help things, it doesn’t. You’re pissed all damn day, until it eventually subsides. As a Black, person, you have to stay conscious, of this and realize, that crap isn’t healthy and to never give in. Only then can you progress mentally. Don’t fall for the okie doke. I believe the powers at be, want the confusion. The drama. Just my two pennies. The media sucks, they wan’t Black Johnny to fight White Michael.
