Bowe Bergdahl a/k/a Abdullah Charged w/ Desertion But Not Treason; May Not Be Dishonorably Discharged?! Spoken w/ Parents Yet? Other Questions
I have to admit it: I’m surprised the U.S. Army finally charged Abdullah Bergdahl, the artist formerly known as Bowe Bergdahl, with desertion. Everything pointed to the Obama Pentagon whitewashing this guy. (And since he hasn’t been charged with treason, there is some whitewashing still going on, as there is a lot of info pointing to his giving aid, comfort, and intelligence to the enemy.) The Army quickly declared last June that Bergdahl “committed no misconduct in captivity,” without having interviewed him or doing much of an investigation. So, some major whitewashing was, indeed, done. He should have been charged with treason, as Talibanis from the Haqqani network said he taught them ambushing and bomb-making skills.
We freed five Taliban terrorists-in-chief for this deserter. And Susan Rice told us he “served with honor and distinction.” Plus Barack Obama hosted a love-fest at the White House for Bergdah’s nutty, Islamo-pandering, New Age parents in which he got sooooo physically chummy and close, I thought the country was gonna have to issue a collective “Get A Room!” to the menage-a-Obama-Bergdahl. Oh, and the parents of 2nd Lt. Darryn Andrews, one of the six soldiers who died trying to find this schmuck, were NEVER told their son died looking for Abdullah Bergdahl. And that’s not to mention that the surviving soldiers of “Saving Sgt. Bergdahl” were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements by the Obama Pentagon, certifying that they would never speak of it.
It certainly took the U.S. Army, which already concluded back in 2010 that Bergdahl was a deserter (but promoted him TWICE while in captivity anyway), a while to do its investigation and issue the charge. Nearly a year for something quite obvious and with several witnesses–his fellow troops, SIX of whose lives he took when they were picked off by the Taliban while looking for Abdullah Bergdahl.
I have a few questions, though, that still haven’t been answered, some important, some not–and maybe you can enlighten me and other readers with what you believe are the answers:
* Bergdahl, when we last heard much news about him, hadn’t spoken with his Islamo-pandering, nutjob, hippie parents in months. Why not? And is he speaking with them now?
* Many news stories in mainstream publications reported that Bergdahl converted to Islam and changed his name to “Abdullah.” Does he still identify as a Muslim? What mosque does he attend?
* Many of his fellow troops, whose lives he endangered but who lived to tell about it (and, again, we know several were murdered searching for him), said they believed Bergdahl cooperated with and gave intelligence to the Taliban. They believe he turned. Did he? The U.S. Army’s charges are only concerned with Articles 85 and 99 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. These apply, respectively, to desertion and running away from the enemy. There are no charges for helping the enemy, and there is much evidence that he did that.
Again, the Bergdahl charges leave a lot of questions. If he does not plead guilty and stands trial, we might learn a little more. But I don’t believe we’ll learn the answers to any of these questions, the third of which is the most important.
So, what do you think? Why wasn’t Bergdahl speaking to his parents? And is he still a Muslim? (The answer is a decided yes, in Islam, punishable by death if he’s decided to leave.) And did he give the Taliban intelligence?
We know the answer to one of the most important questions: was it worth it to trade five hardened terrorists to freedom so they could kill again, so that this traitorous deserter who cost several American boys’ lives–could breathe free on U.S. soil?
That one–as we knew all along–is a resounding HELL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

By the way, can you believe this: the Army may still be considering giving Abdullah Bergdahl an honorable discharge????? The New York HAMAS Times’ heart bleeds over “poor Bowe”:
Another question is whether the Army will give Sergeant Bergdahl an honorable discharge if he is found guilty of desertion. For members of the military, an honorable discharge is no small matter, and not getting one can not only hinders a veteran’s job prospects, but also weigh on the entirety of how a service member looks back on his or her career.
Reader Duane:
Really? WTF is wrong with these people? Why in the hell would someone be given an “honorable” discharge for “dishonorable” and “treasonous” behavior? Brave “honorable” men died attempting to recover his sorry ass and they are concerned with his future job prospects?
Indeed.

And, yet, despite that conclusion, Bergdahl was promoted TWICE! while in captivity. HUH? Instead of promoting this deserter, they should have been preparing his court martial . . . the only reason we should have worked for his release. . . .
More:
A captured American soldier is training Taliban fighters bomb-making and ambush skills, according to one of his captors and Afghan intelligence officials. Private Bowe Bergdahl disappeared in June 2009 while based in eastern Afghanistan and is thought to be the only U.S. serviceman in captivity. The 24-year-old has converted to Islam and now has the Muslim name Abdullah, one of his captors told The Sunday Times.
A Taliban deputy district commander in Paktika, who called himself Haji Nadeem, told the newspaper that Bergdahl taught him how to dismantle a mobile phone and turn it into a remote control for a roadside bomb. Nadeem claimed he also received basic ambush training from the U.S. soldier.
It’s disgusting, given all this, that Susan Rice–the Obama Administration’s Goebbelsette–would say this al-schmuck “served with honor.” HUH?
THIS. IS. WEAKNESS. Back in the day, Bergdahl would have faced the music. Today, he’s dancing a jig to the music. While those who died for him can’t make a move or say a word. They are gone forever.

Debbie, makes more sense now, no? That said, I’m surprised they decided after a year to charge Abdullah Bergdahl with desertion.
Something tells me he won’t hang for his betrayal of his fellow comrades-in-arms.
Since he is Muslim, odds are good Bergdahl will get off lightly.
Remember, this Administration refuses to acknowledge that Islam is at war with us and I wouldn’t be taken aback if the Army prosecution didn’t bring up his treasonous collaboration with the Taliban and conversion to Islam at his trial.
For the likes of him, six American soldiers lost their lives. We won’t do right by them since we can’t bring ourselves to admit Bergdahl was the one who betrayed them to the enemy.
America, desperate but not serious about its national security.
