If You Like Hezbollah & Iran, You’ll Love the Houthi
Score another victory for the madmen ayatollahs of Iran. This time it’s in the form of the Houthi, Shi’ite Muslim terrorists in Yemen.
For more than a decade, I’ve warned on this site about Shi’ite terrorist groups sponsored by Iran and noted that many of them are just as dangerous as Al-Qaeda, including the Houthi, the Yemeni Shi’ite terrorists who took over the country’s Presidential Palace, yesterday. And while America worries about ISIS and Al-Qaeda operatives in our midst, they look the other way as Hezbollah-supporting, Iran-backing Shi’ites have taken over at least two American cities, Dearbornistan and Dearbornistan Heights and carry out Hezbollah money-laundering schemes more often than they change underwear. While America worries about ISIS and Al-Qaeda overseas, the Shi’ites are making inroads around the globe.
As I have noted on this site many times over the years, Shi’ite terrorists and rebels have warred against the Sunni regimes of many Middle Eastern countries, leading to more extremism and instability, whether it’s Shi’ites protesting in the streets and causing mayhem in Bahrain (the Gulf’s only majority Shi’ite country, but ruled by a Sunni minority) or whether it’s the Hezbollah Shi’ites in Lebanon, who will soon be the overwhelming majority, if they are not already. I’ve also written about the Shia rebels in Saudi Arabia’s Qatif Peninsula. As I told you on this site previously, the United Arab Emirates had the good sense to do what the world would allow no non-Muslim country to do: kick its Shi’ites out.
For the record, I don’t mind when Shi’ites and Sunnis fight each other. I just want to get out my halal popcorn and watch the show and let allah sort it out. So, the more the merrier. The thing is, though, that these groups are funded and directed by Iran, and they do Iran’s bidding. They try to destabilize American allies (like Bahrain) and further destabilize the Middle East. All the while, America isn’t doing much to stop them. We fixate on ISIS and Al-Qaeda, when, again, the Shi’ite tentacles of the Islamic hydra are just as deadly.
And, today, they can chalk up another win. The Yemeni government gave in to the Houthi terrorists and gave them more rights, although the current Yemeni Prez, a Sunni, is a supporter and enabler of the Houthi, anyway (didn’t stop them from taking one of his aides hostage, though).
President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi of Yemen appeared to bow on Wednesday to the demands made by the Houthi movement, whose militiamen have besieged his presidential palace and residence for days. His accession to the group’s demands defused a violent standoff in the capital that raised fears about the stability of Yemen’s government.
The agreement between Mr. Hadi and the Houthis was announced by Yemen’s official news agency on Wednesday evening. It calls for the Houthis to withdraw fighters from several parts of Sana, the capital, including the presidential palace, and to immediately release an aide to Mr. Hadi who was abducted on Saturday, in exchange for a list of concessions from the president. The deal represented a significant victory for the Houthis, a former rebel group that took over parts of Sana in September.
I’d ask how long it’ll be until we give in to terrorists and give them more rights. But that happened here long ago.
If you like Iran and Hezbollah, you’ll love the Houthi. But if you’re in favor of America’s interests in the Middle East, not so much.
Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini may be six feet under, but he’s having the last laugh.
THIS. IS. ISLAM. It’s on the march, while America is on the couch watching “The Voice” and “Modern Family.”
We get to watch Barack Obama get tough with Republicans during his #SOTU, but he cowers in the face of Iran and Hezbollah. The Houthi of Yemen are not a big deal to him, even though they have effectively carved out an enclave on the Arabian Peninsula.
