Merry Christmas 2014 to My Christian Friends & Readers
Merry Christmas to all of my Christian readers and friends. I wish you a very joyous and merry Christmas with family, friends, and everything that you wish for. I hope you are enjoying the holiday.
Even though I believe very strongly in my own religion and I am not Christian (nor do I believe in Christ), I am thankful that, for now, America’s strong Christian tradition remains. With G-d’s* help and prerogative, it is the only thing that keeps us from becoming a Muslim nation. Like you, I want to continue to practice my religion freely and for that to be the case for my fellow co-religionists and yours. As I’ve said so many times before on this site, even though I do not espouse Christianity and am a proud, observant Jew, I do believe that America has resisted becoming a Muslim nation thus far because of its strong Christian heritage and the fact that the majority of Americans still identify as Christians. That is and has always been the backbone and at the forefront of America’s traditional values. People like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, and the supporters of Hezbollah (and HAMAS) in Dearbornistan, Minneapolistan, and elsewhere on our soil have one thing in common: they do not go to church and they do not believe in our common Judeo-Christian values, traditions, and heritage. And those of them who do “celebrate” Christmas do so in commercialism and going-through-the-motions only. Not in faith.
Most of my Christian friends–even if they do not attend Church regularly but do believe in certain tenets of faith and morality–are supporters of Israel and see jihad all over the world for what it is: Islamic evil (redundant phrase) torturing, raping, mass-murdering, and wiping out Christians and Jews (and others) all over the world. It doesn’t matter if it is Shi’ite Islam via Iran and Hezbollah or Sunni Islam via ISIS or Al-Shabaab or Boko Haram. It is all Islam. Not radical Islam. Just Islam (which is inherently radical by definition). And Islam and Muslims have destroyed and wiped out Christianity and more Christians around the world than they have Jews and Judaism. A lot more. Lebanon, for example, is on this particular Christmas day, filled with thousands of sad Christians who fled there to escape ISIS in Iraq.
The St. Raphael Cathedral near the Lebanese capital has added more than 1,400 Iraqi refugee families from Mosul alone to its aid rosters since July, all of them having fled the city now occupied by Islamic State fighters. On Tuesday, several of the uprooted families stood in line at the cathedral in Baabda southeast of Beirut—the seat of the Chaldean Catholic Church in Lebanon—waiting for a food handout. As Rev. Youssef Denha —himself a refugee from Iraq—flipped through the pages of the ledger where he tracked each handout, he set aside any pretense of seasonal optimism.
“This is a holiday of sadness, not happiness. Daesh has left us with nothing,” he said, using the Arabic acronym for Islamic State. For thousands of Christians who have fled Iraq to escape persecution by Islamic State, this Christmas will be marked by bereft tables and worries over the future.
And, yet, the Pope has done nothing to help these people. He’s too busy kissing Muslim ass, avoiding serving pork at Vatican-area soup kitchens (so not to offend Muslims), and making deals with human rights abusing scumbag brothers who rule Cuba.
Meanwhile, as Christians suffer throughout the Middle East (the Christians who mostly historically sided with Muslims against Jews, and look where it got them–they are now taking the Jews’ places as the persecuted and endangered), the Catholic priests are still worried about the welfare of . . . Muslims?!
So great are the needs of the Iraqis that the cathedral can no longer supply food to Muslim refugees . . ., Father Denha said.
Huh?! I am so glad that my own religion, in contrast to Christianity, does not teach “turning the other cheek.” It’s not a successful strategy for longevity in a world where Islam in on the rise. The crusaders were not concerned with “Muslim refugees.” And guess what? That lack of concern for them was a winning one. But, now, Islam is winning.
For almost everyone in the food line, this Christmas comes at the end of a year of travails. Raghed Israel arrived in Lebanon in November with her husband and four children—three boys and a girl all under 11—after sleeping in tents and open fields during the monthslong journey from Iraq. The 33-year-old Ms. Israel said she and her husband had managed to get a Christmas tree for her children. There will, however, be no gifts. She won’t hold out any hope to them of returning to the life they once knew, either. Their exile is permanent. “Islamic State is in my village, and I’ll never go back to Iraq,” she said.
Another Iraqi Christian in line, a woman from the village of Tilkef near Mosul, said the specter of sexual violence at the hands of Islamic State fighters triggered her family’s flight from Iraq. “I left in fear that my daughters may be raped and my husband attacked by Daesh [DS: Arabic for ISIS],” she said, asking not to be identified. Asked how she would be spending her Christmas, her voice broke and her sister intervened. She said her own children “are crying for Christmas, but we have no tree, no gifts, nothing. We need the U.N. to help us because all we have is them and God.”
Oy, you’re relying on the U.N.?! Good luck with that.
And that isn’t just in Jesus’ birth region of the Middle East. It’s old news to ask you to look to Europistan. Every single country there is moving toward becoming an Islamic state. Yes, a good part of it is because of immigration and birthrate problems that face America as well. And because of the welfare state for these immigrants and multiple births, as well as an orthodoxy of multiculturalism.
But, ultimately, it’s because Europe has lost its Christian faith and more and more of its population is either unaffiliated or atheist. You see it in Great Britain. You see it throughout Scandinavia, where marriage and other sacraments of the Church and of Judeo-Christian values are anathema. Those are the same countries that have willingly allowed themselves to become ravaged by Muslim immigration and the corresponding hate. Many Europeans who are not of Islamic descent are converting to Islam where they would never even think of embracing their Christian roots or those of their descendants. There is a reason Malmo, Sweden is no longer welcoming to Jews and the Israeli Davis Cup Tennis Team cannot compete there in front of a live audience, lest they be blown up. Sweden’s psyche has fallen to Islam, and the entire country will physically fall to it in just a few generations. Sweden’s population of practicing Christians has fallen significantly. The ranks of non-believers have grown by leaps and bounds . . . as have the ranks of believers in Islam.
Where will the Christians go when these countries become Muslim and Christians need to seek yet another refuge? If they think they are all coming to America, I have news for them: so long as the population of active, believing Christians keeps declining, we aren’t here for the long run against Islam either. In several generations we will be on the verge of something very bad and very ISIS-and-Hezbollah-esque. Don’t believe me? Then, check out Jesus’ birthplace of Bethlehem. Once a Christian Arab enclave, Christians are just a fraction of a scintilla of a microscopic minority there, and they are oppressed.
Ditto for Lebanon, where Maronite Christians–the original Phoenician population–were recently the majority (including in the ’70s and ’80s). Now, through birthrates and emigration, they are the minority. Even the Chaldean refugees from Iraq now in Lebanon aren’t enough to regrow the country’s Christian ranks. And the Chaldeans, thought to be the oldest civilization and the one from which Abraham ultimately emanated, are almost already erased from Iraq.
Again, America is not so far behind Europe in this respect: devout Muslims are growing in numbers in our midst. Yes, we are still a Christian nation by far, with well more than half of America celebrating Christmas today. But we are experiencing the same religious decline as in Europe, though to a much slower degree. As I always say, atheists and lapsed Christians are future Muslims, ripe for the picking. In Europe, in America, everywhere. Just look at all the former hippies and feminists who choose this cult (Islam) that imprisons the mind and the body, while they spent their lives denouncing Christians and Jews and fighting Nativity displays in the courts and wishes of “Merry Christmas” in the major retailers.
While Jews were an active part of every step of American history, from its founding to all of its battles (we fought in every one, including the Revolutionary War–American history is inextricably part of Jewish history and vice versa), and America has always been a Judeo-Christian country, those of us who are realists know it is really and has always been a Christian nation (unless we continue to do nothing about the ever-increasing encroachment by Islam on our shores). Most of the Founding Fathers were Christians, as were most of the revolutionaries who fought off the British. Yes, there were exceptions who came pretty close to atheism (supposedly Thomas Jefferson), but for the most part, they were Christians (and had some Jewish help: Haym Solomon and so on). And that’s why America’s still around and as we know it–because of its Christian heritage. And, above all of that, because G-d willed it.
With long-term demographics, it looks like it will change because we’ve done nothing to stop it. You and I won’t see it, but your great-great-great-grandchildren and theirs may. Just as it has happened in the birthplace of the Christian religion: the Middle East. They aren’t under siege–that was yesterday. Today, they are no longer there, unless you count their scant and disappearing presence.
Today, more and more Americans of Christian (and Jewish heritage) can tell you what was on TMZ yesterday or in Us and People Magazines’ latest issues than can tell you much about the Bible. They can name all the members of the sleazy Kardashian family. The figures in the Old and New Testaments? Nope.
So, while America remains a Christian nation and, so far, that has stopped Islam from taking over (yet), that’s due to change, the way things are going. How many more Christmases do you think America will celebrate? 100? 200? I wouldn’t bet on the second figure. Not if Muslim demographics, immigration and birth rates, and the developments in other Western developed nations are any indication.
So, I wish you a Merry Christmas but ask you to impress upon your children, grandchildren, and so on, the importance of their religion and the death and destruction of Islam, which is and always has been at war with your religion. You cannot emphasize this enough. So, after the gifts have been put away and your last Christmas meal tonight has been consumed, the holiday may be over. But your task is not.
Teach your family and friends why your Judeo-Christian faith and its continuity is important. And why remaining steadfast and strong in the face of Islam is just as important.
Soon, you will take down your tree and decorations and get back to your regular work and family life. But your task to keep America from falling to Islam is one that will continue.
Again, I wish you a wonderful holiday and a Merry Christmas overflowing with joy, family and loved ones, friends, good health, food and drink and other sustenance, warmth, and shelter. And even though I do not celebrate your holiday, I appreciate the gift you give me every day: your readership (and comments and tips, too), your support, and your camaraderie in the marketplace of ideas. And most important, our common goal and aim for the survival of Western civilization, of which the Judeo-Christian ethos is the backbone.
And, remember, we are all still here and allowed to practice our faiths freely because of G-d*. May He bless us all.
Thank you and, again, Merry Christmas.
* Religious Jews do not write/type out G-d’s full name out of respect for Him.
An important Friend & Ally of the USA & a NATO member, Turkey’s President T. Erdogan recently announced during an interview…the North American Continent was discovered by a Muslim….not Colombus.
In that view, the USA & Canada deserve a rapidly growing population of Muslims, if only to balance the scale with Riots of Muslims in Europe.
Imagine house members such as Pelosi, arriving with her face covered by a Burkah…..fantastic, or the next female President…completely covered at her weekly Press Conference. Can’t wait.
