CIA Torture Report is “Hate America” AgitProp, Total BS; Obama’s Panetta Said Torture Works

By Debbie Schlussel

**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****

The first thing you need to know about the “CIA torture report” put out by liberal Democrats in the U.S. Senate is that it cost $40 million of your money to produce. The second thing you need to know is that Barack Obama’s CIA Director Leon Panetta–a big liberal–disagreed long ago with its key finding: the claim that the alleged “torture” didn’t work. It did.

panetta

I’ve been away from this site for a bit because I’ve been hard at work on some important cases. But I couldn’t help but be incensed over the release of this 6,200-page report produced by far-left U.S. Senators and their Marxist, anti-American staffers, ACLU-style lawyers, and others who truly want this country to falter and cease to exist. You paid their exorbitant salaries and ObamaCare-exempt benefits for several years for them to compile this phony, flawed, false “report.” This is a “report” that only hurts America and its operatives all over the world. The “report” was unnecessary and just a litany of flat-out lies.

The main claim of this “report” put out by the former Mayor of San Francisco, the shameful Dianne Feinstein (more appropriately called, “Slimestein”), just isn’t true. The report claims that no valuable intelligence came from what it calls “torture” of Islamic terrorists. First, it isn’t torture. If they wanna see real torture, I have some ISIS trainers who can show ’em. Second, these enhanced interrogation techniques do and DID work. Leon Panetta, Obama’s first CIA chief, said so a while ago.

In his October 2014 book, Worthy Fights: A Memoir of Leadership in War and Peace, Panetta says that enhanced interrogation techniques (a/k/a “torture”) not only work but led to valuable and important information. While he says he opposes these techniques and he, too, calls the use of them, “torture,” Panetta wrote that these techniques produced information “critical” to the discovery and thwarting of major Islamic terrorist plots and locations of terrorists, as well.

This is Leon Panetta saying that–you know, the guy who headed the CIA when Osama Bin Laden was located by the Agency and then shot and killed by Navy SEALS. (And we know that waterboarding was how we got to Bin Laden–it made his courier sing and eventually lead us to his location.) Panetta isn’t just a liberal. He’s a shameless liberal. He has no reason to lie about the value of enhanced interrogations. He admits that they work, while also saying he opposes their use, so it is an admission against his own interests. And, yet, nobody seems to have brought this up. Why not? Well, maybe because liberal Democrats don’t like stopping Islamic terrorists, and Republicans no longer seem to have much of a problem with them either. Do you think the Senate Republicans will spend a dime to do their own investigation and report to refute this?

And while the Republicans won’t do much to set the record straight, even the New York Times–which should be eating this up–lists a number of reasons, some of them mentioned by Republicans, why the report is flawed.

Oh, and what about those Republicans? Well, the two usual suspects, John McCain and Rand Paulistinian, just love the report. Anytime McCain, Paul, and Slimestein agree on something, you immediately know it’s bad for America. Even McCain’s usual comrade-in-harms Lindsey Graham has temporarily come to his senses and opposes the report.

Paul says the U.S. government should be more transparent (and morally oppose torture), no surprise since Edward Snowden is his hero and since Paul ripped on the Obama Administration for killing terrorist-in-chief Anwar Al-Awlaki, one of the few good things Obama actually did for America. Yup, Paul’s definition of what’s moral is rather selective: it’s immoral to hurt terrorists and make ’em talk; but it’s very moral to allow the Awlakis of the world to live and allow them to continue to inspire and help plan Fort Hood massacres, UndieBombers, and so on. Stopping those from happening by killing him–well, that’s also immoral because Paul considers this birth-tourism “American” to be an American.

And you know what’s funny? All those “conservatives” like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and others–who were cheering Snowden–are kinda quiet on him now, while they rail on Feinstein. Hmmm . . . why was it okay for Edward Snowden to release to the public valuable intelligence about our counterterrorism operations but not Di-Fi (Feinstein) and company? They are one and the same, though Di-Fi knows better and should be held to a higher standard.

This whole thing isn’t really about Di-Fi’s opposition to alleged “torture” of Islamic terrorists who hate us and wanna kill us. She used to pretend to be a hawk on that. It’s that the CIA snooped on her (rightly so, as it turns out), and she’s pissed. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned (especially if she’s the U.S. Senate’s resident “The Joker” lookalike), and Di-Fi wants to cut off the CIA’s balls. Forty million bucks of your money is an expensive castration. But that’s the only thing that’s going on here. Too bad, America’s national security has to get dragged through the mud and completely destroyed in the process.

Do you really believe that in the over six million CIA documents allegedly reviewed by the propagandists, er . . . “investigators,” who wrote this report, there was never a single instance in which “torture” worked? PUH-LEEZE. I don’t believe that they even reviewed that many documents or that they cared what was in those documents. They had an agenda and they looked for “evidence” and wrote a report to back that agenda. Period.

Show me the “investigators” for this report, and I’ll show you a bunch of nerdy, power-hungry Hillary Clinton and Obama fans who think the WNBA is fabulous and love Oprah, Hezbollah, hipster millennials, and illegal aliens. They really don’t give a crap about America or whether “torture” works. They just want it to stop, especially if it does work, because they want to bring America down.

Dianne Feinstein will eventually retire (or die)–hopefully either of these events will arrive sooner rather than later. And she will eventually be off the grandstanding whiner stage to live out her final years. And she will be just as unsafe as the rest of us. All because she was mad about her pride being stepped on by being the target of snooping.

If there is any justice and G-d has a sense of humor, some terrorist we didn’t waterboard or entice with women putting their breasts on his back (yes, this is “torture” in the report!), will do something and she will be the first (and hopefully, only) victim. Remember, she also supports gun control, so she won’t be able to defend herself against any such attack.

We know there will be more Islamic terrorist attacks on America. And Dianne Feinstein just made that a whole lot more certain.

Thanks, bitch.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention . . . my favorite thing to hear from Islamic terrorists is, “I Can’t Breathe.” Sounds like that’s Dianne Feinstein’s fave thing to hear from the rest of us.

DS got it right. FrankenFeinstein is chucking a Rumpelstiltskin wobbly because her “Minnie Mouse” ass got spied on. Potentates don’t like that. If this devolving country was serious, they’d haul her ass and that of her Shyster/Charlatan/Bankster husband Richard Blum in front of Congress for their many boondoggle RICO crimes. I can’t see beyond that (and what DS pointed out) and take none of this sh** seriously anymore because this is the America the Kardashian obsessed nation of morons voted for. This is what you get when many decide to dive straight into the sh** bucket. Welcome to the devolving decline of America.

That, and when you have that super-creep Jihad Darrell Issa being taken seriously during Senate Hearings. There is another execrable human stain.

Along with all that will come the inevitable rolling of eyes and gnashing of teeth of all the Kardashian-Skankerrhea Proles when reality of the devolution FINALLY appears in their radar. Boy, that will be fun to behold. NOT.

This is the Zeitgeist and the status quo of what transpires when a country starts circling the toilet bowl.

I wrote this in response to Ted Cruz’s assertion torture is unambiguously wrong. Sad to say, even some conservatives miss the big picture and the little details. Here is my take on it:

    Ted,

Sorry, I don’t agree. When we’re dealing with terrorists and they don’t talk, we have to do whatever we must to get them to reveal their plans.

Civilized niceties are for civilized people. They are not meant to be extended to head choppers and homocide bombers. And you of all people, should be the first to appreciate the difference.

To quote from the Talmud, “he who is merciful to the cruel, will be cruel to the merciful.” Our enemies torture and execute people. And you would rather spare them unpleasant things like enhanced interrogation techniques to find out what they are up to because we’re civilized.

I would never spare an enemy bent on killing us all and who seeks to destroy my country from what he truly deserves. And Ted, please feel free to quote me on it.

How long do you think it will be before the left creates a linkage between the ‘evil CIA torturers’ and the ‘evil New York City and Ferguson ‘killer cops”?

Little Al on December 10, 2014 at 7:10 pm

Do people not see, whether its a Democrat admin, or a Republican admin, we keep going in the same direction; Marxism.

Hegelian Conflict. Over and Over and Over and Over, we keep falling for the banana in the tail pipe.

I’m going to be quiet for now.

MrBigBrain on December 10, 2014 at 7:11 pm

Better we be pure as saints and not find out what our enemies are up to because according to Senate Democrats and their liberal Republican fellow travelers in arms, being harsh on them is bad for America’s image and doesn’t work.

Because of people like them, this country is dying. They have the chutzpah to stoop to blaming CIA field agents who work very hard to keep this country safe and they grandstand by accusing them of committing “torture.” Its outrageous and absolutely despicable.

So liberals can feel superior, America can’t interrogate Islamic terrorists and has no right to stop them from killing Americans. Debbie is right, as long as G-d and justice on the earth, I’d like to see the authors of this libelous assault on America reap the fruit of their hatred for our country.

We’re doing to ourselves what Al Qaeda and Islamic State could never dream of doing to us in a million years: stripping ourselves of the ability to foreknow our enemies’ plans and thwart their plots again our country. DiFi and the Senate Democrats couldn’t care about the importance of that; it was more important for them to stick it to the CIA.

And this sick, sick “report” will hurt America in more ways the one, by letting our enemies know our leaders are all too willing to let them kill Americans but they won’t allow those who strive to defend our country to have the tools to stop them. That’s the bottom line, when all is said and done with the so-called Senate “report” and its more evidence of the continued slide of America into oblivion.

NormanF on December 10, 2014 at 7:58 pm

Debbie,

A correction: on gun control, DiFi is a hypocrite. She and her husband have a concealed carry license and they are armed.

She simply doesn’t want us lesser mortals to have the same right. But you can say that what’s good for us isn’t good enough for her and her fellow liberals.

They are privileged.

NormanF on December 10, 2014 at 8:07 pm

Norman, please recognize that the rules are only intended for the hoi polloi, not for those within the political elite ranks. When you too reach the ranks of the political elite, you will then be entitled to certain privileges that go with that special status. (For example, parking tickets will be a thing of the past.)

Also, Feinstein isn’t saying that guns are bad, but rather, that members of the public should be assumed to be bad people who are not to be trusted with guns. Feinstein, as a member of the political elite, is not a member of the general public anymore, and all members of the political elite are assumed to be good people, and thus may be armed.

So please know your place in society and follow the rules set by the political elite for your class rank. Thanks.

Debbie,

Regarding this from your article: ” Remember, she also supports gun control, so she won’t be able to defend herself against any such attack.”

I read years ago that Feinstein has a CCW and a revolver in her purse. It’s the liberal mantra of “Guns for me and none for thee.”

Richard on December 10, 2014 at 9:12 pm

They should have released the 26 pages on Saudi Arabia involvement in 9/11.

madman on December 10, 2014 at 10:47 pm

This issue is a contrived conflict. Anyone with any sense, knows that torture and harsh interrogation works. Will there be instances where the tortured individual says anything to stop the torturing that is happening to them? Perhaps. If you want to know if torture works, I interview mobsters, they all talk now anyways.

Ask them have they been successful in getting the info they needed by torturing and beating individual until they talked.
When did the everyday person start caring what tactics the military used? They don’t. People don’t concern themselves if the military or CIA tortured TERRORISTS to get info.

However they tell Americans that we do or we should. Now we have another conflict. Torture is bad, torture is good. The CIA, military gets disparaged. Now people who never gave it a second thought on what goes on in the military all of a sudden care and are appalled on what our service people have done. A joke.

I don’t have answer on what to do, but I like to point out what I believe is going on. More Hegelian nonsense. “They” have an end game for this conflict too.

prestigio on December 11, 2014 at 6:47 am

Debbie, your comment that this report of lies will encourage more attacks in the US and our property abroad, is correct.

When the release of the phony report info is combined with releasing prisoners from gitmo and else where for all we know, as well as the current socialist administration support of terrorism like Ferguson induced riots, the combination is nasty.

When in the field one does what one has to do. You do not consider what some US Senator would say.

Getting info by interrogation and if needed taking out the bad guys is what its all about.

Panhandle on December 11, 2014 at 9:10 am

This is so typical of the Dims. They just can’t get enough condemnation for America. They are the exact opposite of what our great country is all about. I hope our grandchildren will look back at this period of time and ask, “why did these bad people hate this wonderful country”?

MuzzCrusher on December 11, 2014 at 11:46 am

Feinstein should have her security clearance revoked for disclosing highly classified data.

This article reminds me of a great scene from David Mamet’s script of The Untouchables, in which the great Sean Connery as the character Malone shows that extreme methods can be necessary to obtain information:

Ralph Adamo on December 11, 2014 at 12:44 pm

“Torture” is not to be lost in semantics.
When Saddam drilled into skulls of prisoners that was torture, tossing them off rooftops; torture.

Keeping a man awake in stress positions is torture, when the Japs waterboarded Americans it was torture.

Raping children in front of mothers is torture.

What happened in Abu Ghraib has been a secret, what we don’t know was hidden for the shame America conveniently ignores because FREEDUMB!

Deb, your utter lack of compassion and dehumanizing of an entire peoples is not a point of pride. Rationalizing torture because freedumb is the epitome of heartless elitism. Hatemongering on an us versus them framework is propaganda for the war machine.

Bob Loblaw on December 11, 2014 at 1:55 pm

Oh Loblaw, spare us. What “compassion” and for whom should we have it? Should we have compassion for those who are unlawful combatants with vital operational intelligence? Why?

As for “freedumb,” well, this usage tells us much about YOU.

BTW, throwing someone off a roof is not “torture”; it’s execution. That’s true for lobbing missiles, as well.

skzion on December 11, 2014 at 5:58 pm

Mr. Loblaw, the point of people who support such methods of extracting information have nothing to do with being elitist or dehumanizing. It is to prevent many, many others from dying innocently and needlessly.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 11, 2014 at 2:19 pm

    skzion,
Compassion for human beings. America has been since day one a nation that did not abuse or torture prisoners. That is one reason America wore the white hat.
Worse still NO INTEL was taken during torture. Before KSM was waterboarded, he gave up all the useful information already. When Panetta verified that it did not work, he qualified it with a negative, and this negative verification was interpreted by Righties that Torture worked.
Freedumb; is jingoism attached to right wing war hawks’ ideas learned from their favorite radio and cable “news”.

Bob Loblaw on December 17, 2014 at 4:21 pm

Gruber was correct…..the American people are too stupid to govern themselves.

AreJayMac on December 11, 2014 at 4:24 pm

Torture involves the creation of permanent physical injury or disability.

Ergo, the CIA did not engage in torture.

Re Diane Feinstein – remember she used to hang out with Jim Jones (yes, THAT Jim Jones) whose cult zombies helped drum up votes for Feinstein in San Francisco.

Aging politicians often lose track of the wider world and end up saying and doing anything that will keep them in power for NOW – the future be damned.

Guardian Angel on December 12, 2014 at 5:01 am

You are so right Debbie. All this issue is about is that the Moe of the California 3 Stooges (Larry is Boxer and Curly is Pelosi)got her grandma panties in a wad over the CIA spying on her shady behind. I was on active duty in the Bay Area of Cali when this stupid harridan became a senator. From then on she used her position to enrich herself and her crooked husband little Dick Blum. Not only does this under the bridge troll think her poop doesn’t stink she uses millions of taxpayer funds to try and prove it. Typical liberal jackwagon either doesn’t know or care that her one-sided “report” will make Americans less safe especially overseas. Even the main claim that losers like Rand (wet poodle head) Paul, John (ripcord) McVain and Manly Man Stephanopoulos like to say is true wasn’t. That is the fact that nothing was gained from playing Metallica while keeping the camel jockeys up late at night. I’m sorry to say (not really) that I have no sympathy for rag headed scumbags who would behead me in a New York minute. I also don’t have any sympathy for stupid politicians who put their own interests ahead of the people who they swore to protect and defend. I also don’t have any sympathy for fake media whores who talk out of both sides of their mouths. A pox on all of them and a big pox on bridge troll Feinstain. Hey Senatard Di-Fi I hope that if ever ISIS shows up at your front door you have your concealed and carried gun on you. You know the one that is ok for you to have but not me and the other serfs. That way you won’t have to sample their version of torture. Hucking fypochrit!

Ken b on December 12, 2014 at 1:07 pm

Like all these Libtards, DiFi (Diane Frankenfeinstein) is the perfect example of the fact that there’s way too many people with way too much free time on their hands. If they’re libs, they just gotta destroy America, first, last and always. Got nuttin’ better to do . . .

jc15 on December 14, 2014 at 11:04 pm

Alfredo from Puerto Rico,

Torturing an old man removed from the battlefield will not “save” any lives. Jack Bauer is fiction, when captured agents know they will be tortured they have no reason to cooperate.

Toadies in the Justice Dept who’s memo that legalized torture is a sham and disgrace. It defends brutality not liberty. It takes the land of the free to the land of the subjects.

Supporting the CIA over their disgrace shows that America is the land of the afraid, scared enough to abandon her soul.

America dies with every rationalization over a disgrace, There is not much left anymore.

Bob Loblaw on December 17, 2014 at 4:27 pm

Okay, dragging myself back here to reply to a thread that I thought was finished. Perhaps you sound condescending because you don’t know my commentary over the past two years on this web site. There’s no problem with that, not everyone can be familiar with everyone’s positions, life philosophy, belief system, world view, etc., on a web site.

But I’m old and tired, and as tired of this old world as Jesus said one should be in order to be ready for The Kingdom. I didn’t say I’m worthy, just more than ready for Him to return.

I know full well about the evils and atrocities committed in the name of American hegemony. Look up famous Puerto Rican Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos. What was done to him was horrible, and a great black eye for America, all by itself.

I have been predicting the demise of this “once great republic” since shortly after Elvis’ death. I saw his rise, life, fall and death as metaphorical for what would become of the U.S. if we didn’t heed the message. Many people predicted our demise far earlier than I, that’s just my story on this.

The human race never heeds the message. Collectively, the human race is like a psychologically VERY conflicted person. We ALL need straightening out, and when Jesus returns, He will straighten us out individually and collectively, in whatever way we need straightening out.

This nation IS going out in the early rounds, if not before that period which will be recognized as WWIII. You can also call it The Great Tribulation. America IS going to pay for national sins. I’ve made mention of The United States and Britain in Prophecy by Herbert W. Armstrong.

But Jesus isn’t here yet, and as messed up as we are, we are STILL the greatest nation ever created by the will of man with hopefully a little help from God. It’s not a case of my country right or wrong, but I’ve looked at the waterboarding issue and all the information surrounding our performance of same. And as an asthmatic, who could die quite easily from a method such as waterboarding, . . .

I’m falling on the side of the USA on this one.
