Yes, you are right about the Republicans.

It is interesting that when you discuss the comments of your respondents in ICE, the issues that you and they discuss are the total amnesty this provides to illegals, and the damage to the culture, the security and the financial mooring of this country.

The Republicans, on the other hand, both leadership and ‘backbenchers’ discuss the constitutional issues and treat this development solely from a legal basis.

Whatever else the Republicans should do, at the very least, a committed party would educate the public about the types of things included in this post, and explain why this amnesty furthers the weakening of our cultural traditions, our economic health, and our national security.

But no discussion of this whatsoever. They will submerge any substantive discussion, and instead, flee to legalisms, and after a few months they will say: ‘the only thing we can do is elect a Republican president in 2016.’ It will all be reduced to patronage.

So win (2014) or lose (2012) the Republicans are showing their commitment to open borders and the dissolution of our traditional American civilization.

Obama just ripped up the Constitution and told Congress to go take a hike. He rewrote the law to suit himself.

That’s grounds for impeachment but I don’t expect that to happen.

Does any of this actually matter? As far as I can tell, there is zero net change after the action last night. Ok, so he tells 5 million illegals that have been here 10 years with babies they can aren’t going to be deported. Uh hellooooo, were they being deported anyway? No. And if I’m an illegal I’m upset too. I thought I was getting amnesty, but now they just want me to pay $500, and if I don’t nothing happens, as per usual. I bet about 8 people pay the fee and “register.” There’s no incentive whatsoever to do so. As retarded as the “self deportation” idea. I know a lot of these people, I doubt I actually meet ONE that does this.

So basically what he’s done is come out and say a bunch of crap without actually saying or doing anything, and boxed his enemies in into taking some sort of action that will no doubt be even worse (Re: Gangbang of Eight).

Debbie brought up their skills, and combine that with maobama stating they will pay taxes. Well, most, if not all will have no skills, so they will get low paying jobs, and assuming the jobs are legitimate (big assumption–most will be “under-the-table”), their taxes will be minimal. Then at the end of the year, they will get them all back in the “earned income tax credit.” I won’t even mention the various welfare benefits, schooling, housing, etc., burdens involved.

But even more importantly, in a few years, the American culture will be gone. The “melting pot” policy of limiting immigrants from a country each year so they can be absorbed into the United States customs and laws, which worked for many years will be destroyed. We’ve seen that already. The country, if not major sections, will be dominated by only one culture, that is, the culture of people who gathered there. For example, Dearborn, MI; or many small cities in FL (and other farming states) where Spanish is has become the major language.

Yes, amnesty existed on a de facto basis, illegal aliens have been voting and getting social services, etc.

But it is always worse when a process like this is formally legitimized. It emboldens the illegal alien criminals and their supporters, and encourages them to seek more and more concessions and handouts. The legitimization of these practices makes it easier to miseducate the population, and accelerates the process of lawbreaking, erosion of security, handouts, etc.

While the sentiment of your article is right on the money, I just wanted to point out that the Immigration Agents that might be getting the raise do not make $100,000 a year. I think you’re thinking about Special Agents. Immigration Enforcement Agents are GS-9, which tops out (after 16 years) at $63,000 a year. If one of them got a lot of overtime (which is drying up because they won’t let them enforce the law), then they might hit that six figure salary, but not while working 8 hour days.

Frankly, I’m tired of hearing sense of “Well, here’s what we need to do now……”, from everyone. The FACT is, THERE IS NOTHING we can do! The country is finished. It is irreversibly swirling the drain. I gave up all hope even before this freedom hating, POS dictator ran for president. I could see the writing on the wall. I have not looked at my IRA monthly statements in three years now, because I know whatever balance is in them, I will never get my hands on. We had allegedly tight senatorial and gubernatorial elections in Georgia in early November. I didn’t even think about voting. my vote no longer matters. Neither does your’s or anyone’s. I no longer try to reason with people or show them the truth. I deleted my Facebook account two years ago, because I realized that my political debates with people were useless. Most infuriating was reading the mindless posts from “conservative” friends, like, “Can’t the media see that obama is lying??”, or “obama is ignorant”, as if that dirtbag doesn’t know exactly what he’s doing and doing it on purpose. When I tried to tell one conservative friend that Osheetbag was doing all this on purpose, he exclaimed, “But why would he do that???”. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Sheep ready for shearing.

Every day, I thank God for giving me the good sense to make the decision to not have kids. While Obumf**k’s speech last night was pretty much the final nail in the coffin I don’t see why everyone is all of the sudden up in arms. This has been coming for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time going back to Bush and before. Little by little the government was giving things away and tightening the ropes on enforcement while pandering to the whiny whelps. ICE hasn’t done dog squat for years; the Border Patrol, of which I served many years in back when it still had balls and a mission, has been slowly emasculated and we owe a great deal of this to both the spineless twits in congress coupled with the career political pole smokers who were put in charge of the respective agencies and proceeded to pad their careers and pockets while doing the bidding of the Collective.
Although I had more time to go before mandatory retirement I puled the pin and punched out before it all circled the drain. Those of us who got out did so because we knew this was coming and there wasn’t anything that could be done to stop it. So fasten your seat belts America….you’re about to get the ride of your lives (and there aren’t any reach-arounds).

You know what gets me, is that these other countries, Mexico, Brazil (the two I’m familiar with) is that they have very astringent immigration, visa, visiting rules, why does America feel the need to be poopy diapers and just let it be a free for all.

I’ve been covering illegal immigration for years. Obama has no intentions of doing anything about the 11 to 12 million illegals already in the US anymore than he intended to do anything about the 60,000+ children dumped on our doorstep. Mexico and other countries in Latin America have repeatedly said that the US has “no right” to secure the border and prevent individuals crossing whenever they want too…while maintaining absolute border security themselves. They’ve made it clear they will aid anyone and any group wanting to come into the US(even providing “how-to” guides). I am personally convinced there was something in the originaly GATT agreement signed by Clinton that waived US sovernity at a certain point. Anyway, “our” America now seems to be a thing of the past. Cherish the memories folks.

The US Border Patrol will mark their 100-year anniversary on 05-28-2024. Since we no longer seriously utilize inland enforcement, I propose we merge USBP into CBP. We need to completely disband the agency as we know it. Put them all in blue uniforms at various ports-of-entry and use their multi-billion dollar budget for more effective programs.

As a man who paid out of state tuition at UTMB for medical school as a US Citizen, I am JUST THRILLED that illegal aliens will be getting in state tuition in Texas.

Mexico should be treated just as we should treat Iran.

I never thought of that, Illegals getting resident tuition in stead of out of state tuition, nothing says out of state, than Illegal. I also remember here in Calif, there was a bill that was going to give free tuition to illegals at junior college. Never understood why, but yes free college. I don’t believe it passed, but I’m sure it came close.

I have been in the immigration enforcement business since the early 90’s. We have always been subject to the political winds that “blow” in the Beltway. When I was a deportation officer under the INS, there were months on end where we weren’t even allowed to arrest serious criminals because we had no empty beds. This is just more of the same. It sucks, but it is the reality of immigration law…politicians don’t want us to enforce the law. I am too old to move on, but for you younger officers/agents with time and don’t like the way politics controls what we do, go to another agency…at least bank robbers and terrorists don’t get amnesty from the FBI…..

I adore Skunky and those others you mentioned.

I still remember taking my adopted son home and having him go through immigration with me. “Welcome to America, young man,” the immigration officer said with a smile. All legally done. The RIGHT way.

And UNICEF has shut down legal immigration in Guatemala, but we have illegal children piling up at the borders. And that’s a better way to go. Right. Tom DeLay also adopted internationally, as well. Now HE would make a great POTUS.

Oh boo-hoo, “ICE” “agents” can’t do their jobs now, as if they ever were. Ain’t nobody doing nuttin noway when it come to immigration, even when it was just immigration.

One would expect great things to come from the premier law enforcement agency in this country, the one charged with homeland security, to protect and defend the honor of the U.S., even if it is from the comfort and safety of an environmentally controlled office cubicle and while surfing the net. If they not doing they jobs, are they still getting that GS-13 and above pay?

The clowns running this circus don’t have a clue, it shows in the way they administer a potentially powerful law enforcement agency. They choose instead to pull the reins in and micro-manage agents, the criminal investigator 1811’s that are getting paid to sit at their desks. There are literally thousands of criminal statutes on the books that ICE agents can be enforcing right now, as we speak. It’s not just all about immigration you know (or maybe you don’t if you are an ICE clown manager). ICE, potentially, could be one of the most respected criminal investigative agencies in the world, if only the clowns didn’t instead to prefer the safe and fruitless “enforcement” of bs immigration administrative regulations.

As it is, ICE is the keystone kop, fumbling, bungling, ridiculous, fake tough guy,bs agency that is the laughing stock of all federal agencies

We need a mainstream party for conservative white people, Christians and Jews alike.

The only issue is that, just as white conservatives are fine with telling liberal whites to fuck-off, conservative white Jews will need to be able to do the same thing to liberal Jews and non-white Jews when necessary.

What do you say, Debbie? Will conservative Jews be able to put conservative political ideology above tribal/religious association? It’s not a rhetorical question. It’s a sincere question, and I’m interested in the answer. I’ve seen both conservative sentiment and rather extremist liberal sentiment from the Orthodox in their formal political support for mass immigration. I’m dubious as to whether politics can divide that particular ethnic association.

All the under-utilized special agents, officers, investigators, or whatever will be used to process applications and issue new legalization cards to the 40 million new legal resident. Then the lawsuits will start.
They this this back in 1986 under IRCA. Some of the agents sued and won against management.
