HUH?! Blacks Say Vegan Cookbook is RAAAAACIST! You’ll Never Guess Why
You gotta give it to the race merchants for being consistently inconsistent in their grievance theater. They scream “RAAAYYYYCISM!” when Whites use the the word “thug” to describe criminals, Black or White. And now they’re screaming “RAAAAYCISM!” because some White vegan chefs are calling themselves “thugs,” because Blacks say that the White chefs are “appropriating” “their” term. Huh?! Oh, and did I mention that the White chefs are also being accused of racism because they use four-letter words in their cookbook, and apparently swear words are now also the “property” of Black America, too?
It’s ridiculous. But such is the case with the book, “Thug Kitchen
The Root, a Black website, calls Thug Kitchen, “Recipes in Blackface.” Yes, all because they use swear-words and call themselves thugs. Oh, and because they’re White. The site accuses the White chefs of “swagger jacking” and “booty-bump[ing]” Blacks. Cool, two new terms to add to my ghetto appropriation vocabulary (and here’s a tip: Blacks, um, booty-jacked the term “ghetto” from my people–Jews were kept in the original ghettos, mostly not by choice).
And even the non-Black political correctness police are mad that the White authors “created a fake thug persona – vulgar, hyper-masculine, snarky and arrogant” and acted “badass in the kitchen.” Apparently, you are only allowed to do this if you are Black. Got that, White people? Not only can’t you jump, you can’t be “badass,” either.
It started off as a tongue-in-cheek vegan food blog, but “Thug Kitchen”, now a cookbook, has been slammed for negatively stereotyping African-Americans after the public discovered the authors were Caucasian.
The authors behind Thug Kitchen, an expletive-ridden food blog and cookbook, were looking forward to visiting Seattle this week to discuss their vegan recipes and America’s relationship with food. The cover of the controversial vegan cookbook, “Thug Kitchen.” They packed their suitcases only to learn Monday they were uninvited. Book Larder, a culinary-themed bookstore in Fremont, decided to cancel a book signing scheduled for Wednesday night over concerns that critics would take over the event. The authors also canceled two events in the San Francisco Bay Area earlier this month after people threatened to disrupt and protest.
Critics call the recently released Thug Kitchen cookbook, subtitled “Eat like you give a f—k,” an example of racism and cultural appropriation. Instead of the book inciting a nuanced discussion of the term thug, a vocal few silenced the conversation in Seattle before it could begin. The controversy started when the authors, Michelle Davis and Matt Holloway, revealed during an interview with Epicurious that they are a pair of white 29 year-olds who live in Hollywood. They had cloaked themselves in anonymity since launching the Thug Kitchen as a blog in 2012.
Part of one of the recipes in Thug Kitchen reads as follows, and is apparently “racism” and a “cultural appropriation of Black culture”:
Roast those sons of bitches for 20 minutes, stirring half way, or until the sprouts are golden and kinda burnt in some places. Goddamn delicious. Just trust. Boiling these tiny cabbage-looking motherf—kers is a crime. ROAST OR GTFO.
Since when are the words “sons of bitches,” “Goddamn,” and “motherf-ckers” or the term “GTFO” (Get The F-ck Out or Off) the sole property of Black people? Since when is the use of them “mocking” or “appropriating” Black culture? Really? Absurd.
But that’s how far the race merchants in America have sunk in order to keep their race grievance theater groove on. Oops, did I just “appropriate” Black culture by using the term “groove on”?
You’d think that Black America would brag about and be proud of its positive achievements and contributions to America instead of claiming dirty language and uncomplimentary words as its own.
And, so, now I’m confused. If you use the word thug to describe a violent person who happens to be Black, you are “RAAAAAAAAYCIST!” But if you use it to describe yourself and you happen to be White, then you are stealing Black culture?
That g-ddamn sh-t’s messed up, motherf-cker. Yup, I just “stole Black culture.”
Got it? Me neither.
By the way, the controversy and attacks by the PC elites was counter-productive. It led many people to buy it, making the book the top cookbook (and the top Advice/How-To book) on the New York Times Best-Seller list, this week.
So, the evil cracka authors are having the last laugh. Laughing all da way to da bank, in fact.

blacks seem to have more than their share of morons and idiots. I have yet to see another culture that uses the english as badly as these people do. Even new citizens who do not have english as their first language are better at speaking, grammar and pronunciation. Its beyond being funny and it indicates possibly a point of retardation in all blacks. Yes inbred retardation may be responsible for their poor performance. But I digress….blacks should learn to get over it..its easier for all.
