Gone Brain: VIDEO – Moron Ben Affleck vs. Bill Maher on Islam

By Debbie Schlussel

**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****

None of the things argued in this video by Bill Maher or Sam Harris are news to us. I’ve been saying those things on Islam for decades, well before 9/11. But it’s great to see more of the real Ben Affleck, who doesn’t get it on Islam. His new hit movie, “Gone Girl,” should probably be called, “Gone Brain,” in honor of him. I guess he forgot those Marathon bombers in his native Boston (or that some 9/11 hijackers flew from there)–hmmm . . . what religion were they? The fact that Affleck directed the movie about the American hostages in Iran (who were imprisoned for 444 days by MUSLIMS), for which he won an Academy Award, is disgusting. The guy doesn’t get it.

affleckmaher

islamiccrescent.jpg

If there is any justice, Ben Affleck’s two daughters and son will convert to Islam and the daughters will wear burqas or niqabs.

Complete bleepin’ idiot. If he were captured by Islamic terrorists, they’d take great relish in beheading this idiot. And the world wouldn’t be worse off.

***

By the way, note the Black guy–former GOP national chairman Michael Steele–serving as an apologist for Islam along with Affleck, pretending that somehow the “moderates” in Islam are some silent majority who “don’t get the [press] coverage” that the terrorists do. Another complete bleepin’ idiot. And, yes, this hip-hop-lovin’, Islamo-pandering moron was running the national Republican party.

He claims there was “no coverage” of the “moderate” Islamic clerics in Australia, Europe, and the U.S. who condemned ISIS. Um, there was so much coverage of this fraud, you couldn’t get away from it. Their lip service was phony, as they all endorse HAMAS, Hezbollah, etc., which practice the same kind of Islam as ISIS, with beheadings, rapes, and murders of Christians. And many of these “moderate” imams are Shi’ites who, of course, oppose ISIS because it is Sunni. These are all the same imams who “condemned” Al-Qaeda, too, while they continue to endorse the extremism of Islam and its Hadith (considered the word of Mohammed and just as binding as the koran). A sample of one of the Hadith is that a tree says to a Muslim, “Oh, Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me. Come and kill him.” And this makes them moderate how?

By the way, in addition to that, all of these panelists failed because they focused on terrorist groups and spoke of Muslims who “aren’t religious.” But, in fact, in every country where there is any significant population of Muslims of any sort, the Muslims–not the “terrorists”–are extremely violent, intolerant, demand we compromise Western lifestyles and values for them, engage in beheadings and honor killings, and engage in mass anti-Semitism. And it makes no difference if these Muslims are religious or not. This is part of their culture. Even gay Muslims, who’d be beheaded in their former religion but live a good life in Israel, still hate Jews (and America).

The many Muslims who sent me death threats–most of them from and living IN America, and some of whom have been prosecuted in federal court–are NOT terrorists.

They are Muslims.

Got that, Ben Affleck?

Looks like the new “Batman” is actually Fatwa-man.

**** UPDATE: BTW, in case you were wondering about Nicholas Kristof, the fellow apologist for Islam sitting next to Michael Steele, he said Jews and the NRA are “pigs” and he’s a Muslim Brohood fan who prayed for them to take over Egypt and also praised and defended Islamic Jihad founder and terrorist-in-chief Sami Al-Arian.

I’d argue the world would be better.

It is important to bring this forward, as you have, time and again. Islam kills. Any actual Muslim moderates are so few in number and marginal in influence as to be irrelevant to any discussion of Islam.

Worry on October 6, 2014 at 10:14 am

CAIR did hold a rally against Islamic State in Houston at a mall. What was striking was how few turned out.

Whereas on the other hand, hundreds if not thousands turned out at CAIR pro-Hamas anti-Israel rallies earlier this summer.

And while Egyptian Sunni clerics from the Al Alzhar school have written a missive against Islamic State, they make it clear their objection are only to these Muslims and not to the rest and they have no problem with violence and terrorism in principle, just with who is now practicing it.

There are no moderate Muslims – if by that you mean Muslims that condemn Sharia, support freedom of religion, equality, tolerance, democracy and human rights. If they really did exist, they would be noticed. Muslim apologists have a hard finding them and the Islamic cleric the President cited in his UN address back in September actually wrote a fatwa endorsing blowing up US troops in Iraq a couple of years back. And oh he endorses Hamas and Hezbollah and is anti-Israel.

Islamic moderation is conspicuous by its absence.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 11:26 am

Correct. Only the most vicious forms of Islam and the most vicious Muslims have any political power.

Oh yeah – someone opened a gay and woman friendly mosque in South Africa.

It was torched after a month. But of course Muslim apologists will say they’re not like that.

As Debbie pointed out though, unfortunately even gay Muslims like those who live in Israel still hate the Jewish State and the West.

Muslims are not going to be good Episcopalians/Methodists or Reform/Reconstructionist Jews. Religious liberalism is not a part of Islam.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 11:36 am

Muslims are extreme – and one can be extreme without advocating terrorism or violence.

It doesn’t necessarily make them any less dangerous than Islamic terrorists. The difference is those Muslims wage a form of “soft” jihad.

They may not want to chop off your head now but they advocate the same objective as Islamic terrorists: to convert us, enslave us or kill us if we refuse.

This makes them moderate how? If they don’t subscribe to our infidel values, they are not with us. For Muslims, our values, our sovereignty, our flags, our borders, our cultures, our faiths and our way of lives carry no inherent meaning for them. Their first loyalty is always to Dar Islam.

This is true no matter where they live. Even the Muslim state is foreign to them as can be seen in Muslims in Muslim countries declaring their first loyalty is to Islamic terrorists’ concept of an Islamic caliphate. They’re not going to be any less disloyal in infidel countries. That is exactly what is happening.

And idiots like our Prez, Ben Affleck and Michael Steele prefer to close their eyes to reality and pretend Islam has nothing to do with it. If Islam wasn’t the problem, Muslims would be good national citizens. Their behavior reveals the opposite. But apologists for Islam want to ignore all the evidence because the mythical “moderate” Muslim does not exist.

They can’t cite one. Not my problem. But then I have intelligence and common sense enough to know we face a great danger and while Islam must be fought, we can’t defeat it so long as there are those in our societies who act as its fellow travelers.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 10:56 am

The questions is why do we bother listening to these Hollywood idiots like Affleck in the first place? They may be wonderful singers, dancers. comedians, even directors. What other credentials have they entitling them to pontificate on important matters? If people didn’t listen to them they would shut up and go back to doing what they know.

Jerry G on October 6, 2014 at 11:22 am

I did not know that Michael Steele was a Islamic apologist. I had thought he was simply a liberal, beltway Republican. This is good to know.

bobguzzardi on October 6, 2014 at 11:27 am

Stick to acting you moron!

Hillel on October 6, 2014 at 11:38 am

Shut up and act!

I get annoyed by celebrities who venture to show us their ignorance.

Some people have a vacant space where their brains are and its a complete waste of time educating them on the facts of life.

Oh and for Affleck’s edification, the latest Western beheadee, Peter Kassig, converted to Islam. It didn’t save his life.

Any one who defends Islam is a frickin’ moron.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 11:46 am

For the life of me I can’t understand why all of these liberal actors believe that they carry with them the knowledge to understand and explain to us everything that goes on in the world. Because they can remember & pronounce their lines (after 50 takes)from a script they have a special understanding of all things. Ben, Matt, George, Sean, Janeane, Susan, etc., think they possess some special wisdom and they feel compelled to offer their opinions on to us unknowing, unsophisticated, “regular” people. We need another, but must larger, 911 type attack on CA.

MuzzCrusher on October 6, 2014 at 12:05 pm

Ben, has always been an idiot, and an opportunist! He went from one actress to another sleeping his way to the top. Gwyneth Paltrow said he had major mental issues, way back when!
He lacks sophistication and in my opinion is a lousy actor. His friend Matt Damon, has way more talent than he does.
He finally ended up with his bimbo wife, who also is a lousy actress.
Whats that saying, ” Water seeks it own level”

Ben is a total loser. He always has been! Nothing surprising to me, how he exposed his stupidity on the Bill Maur show!

Debra Jackson on October 9, 2014 at 4:00 am

What a pity. A big, empty bouf-head the size of Russia AND Texas yet as empty as a Hobo’s liquor bottle!

Can you imagine how dumb his ditzy wife is? Married to that? Watch him ditch the annoying and dumb wife and do a George Clooney and marry a Mooooooooooslim.

DS was right to bring up Boston (#BostonWrong!). This place is full of annoying and clueless Moonbats and you had best believe loaded to the gills with Jihadi cells. Not that anyone cares, not that anyone notices. From 9/11, Summer and Waverley Steets, Tariq Mehana and the Boston Marathon Jihadi Bombing.

Because I come here, when I heard the nonsense on the show DS’ column is aboutthis AM (local radio) I was NOT even impressed with those NOT siding with BigHead Affleck. I lament that I had not known about Islam as DS has for so long. But I get it now!

I just heard Charlie Sennett on a Moonbat station bloviate about Israel and his hope for a 2 Stated Israel. Such a fan of the Fakestinians. I hope he is hoping for the REAL Santa and the Tooth Fairy too because his “hope” is as fruitful as hope for both those 2 fictional characters.

In 2014 you don’t need to know ALL the facts and stats on Islam (it sure does help thou’). You just need to get the bottom line. THAT is the problem with Dhimmis and Islamopanderers! All they have is fake “feel good” PC bullsh that they don’t even adhere to in their daily lives. If you fall for their bullsh you deserve to be taken out by a Jihadi!

I like to credit him because I remember his post years ago but ZZMike (or MikeZZ) said there are the Jihadis in Islam and then the other Moooooooslims who won’t bomb you but want the Jihadis to bomb you. That bottom lines it PERFECTLY. That is what one must know about Islam!

12Skunky on October 6, 2014 at 12:06 pm

Actually Skunky, Affleck’s wife is reported to be considering divorce because he is addicted to gambling and is throwing away all of their money in Vegas. He is a narcissistic bum who treats his family like crap.

I suspect Affleck, along with the other Islamopandering celebs, is on the payroll of some Arab sheiks. Honestly. It is the only reason I can think of that so many celebrities and politicians can look at a camera with a straight face and claim that – all evidence to the contrary notwithstanding – Islam means peace. We little people out here in the real world can see Islam for what it is. It seems that only in the leftist utopias of New York, Hollywood, San Fran, Washington, et al, do people act like 9/11 was just some random act, not part of an evil pattern, and the murdering Muslims who were behind it were just random guys who woke up one morning and thought they’d fly planes into buildings. Wonder if we’d be hearing the same song and dance if UA Flight 93 had succeeded in crashing into the Capitol building. Let’s put THEIR butts on the line and see if they still l-u-u-u-v them some Muslims.

MIGirl on October 6, 2014 at 1:55 pm

I was, frankly, impressed by Maher and the other guy (Harris?). Both were very clear that the problem is not just the “extremist.” Maher, in particular, made clear that the problem was the vast majority. The other guy was less clear, as he didn’t quantify the “conservatives,” whe happen to be the majority in themselves.

Maher also made the point–absolutely clearly–that liberals MUST oppose Islam as doctrine, and therefore must oppose the views of MOST Muslims now living, as they accept the key points of this doctrine.

I can’t stand leftists, but I think we have to be fair when one of them is actually ideologically consistent. When he said that there was no racism “when we say this,” he was asserting that whatever the conservative motives, his were pure liberal ones.

skzion on October 6, 2014 at 12:26 pm

    Sam Harris is an atheist.

You know how Islam regards non-believers.

What he and Bill Maher pointed out is Islam is an ideology, not a race.

Its not racist to be an Islamophobe. And you can criticize – even ostracize people from polite company for holding abhorrent beliefs.

And Islam is abhorrent – its opposed to the Enlightenment and the basic founding ideas of the West and as a result we have the right and the duty to say “NO” to it.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 1:31 pm

“What he and Bill Maher pointed out is Islam is an ideology, not a race.

Its not racist to be an Islamophobe. And you can criticize – even ostracize people from polite company for holding abhorrent beliefs.”

      Exactly, Norman.

skzion on October 6, 2014 at 3:02 pm

These morons are as wrong as anyone can possibly be. This despite the fact that the truth is starring them right in the face.

However their arguments would make no sense even if they were correct. There are so many Muslims in the world that if even only 1% of all Muslims were willing to engage in violent Jihad (And the percentage is a “ton” higher than that) there number of jihadists would still be an existential threat to all of us.

Unfortunately our leaders who have the responsibility of protecting us are with the Ben Afflecks of the world.

I_AM_ME on October 6, 2014 at 12:30 pm

Affleck was his typical libtard self.

The Steele stuff was illuminating. I loathed the guy when he had power, but his view is consistent with that of Republican biggies. Truly disgusting.

skzion on October 6, 2014 at 12:32 pm

    Note to present company:

Its not just liberals and leftists who are in denial about Islam. Parts of the Right are also Islamo-panderers.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 1:33 pm

And don’t get me started on that NYT moron Little Niki Kristof.

SKZ: Kristof–lover of Islamic Jihad founder Sami Al-Arian. Oh, and the guy who said the Muslim Brohood takeover of Egypt would be just fab. ‘Nuff said. DS

skzion on October 6, 2014 at 12:38 pm

That cretin cheered the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood on back in the day when it seemed certain to take over the country.

And you wonder why the Egyptians hate us – not just for being infidels but for being clueless fools as well.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 1:35 pm

Skzion, Kristof, that Commie Creep, is looking more and more like a “Kitchen Witch” everyday!

I heard a lot of equivocation on this show. At this point in the game, it’s not only a waste of time (like those annoyingly inarticulate talk-show callers who ask the host “How are you?” all effing day long!) but if that is the state of affairs in 2014 (and it is) we are NOT winning.

I’m tired of the time wasters and the equivocators. “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That!” Even Sweet Brown knows that! As the Jihadis gain more ground, the so-called “good people” are wasting time being PC and looking for the love of Islam that just doesn’t exist! They don’t want to see the truth. I’m so tired of it. You can tell it makes me totally agro!

Bill Maher has always been heinous but now he looks even more fugly (which is why I believe he hates God. God made him ugly and he don’t like that…). His profoundly un-handsome face looks like an unruly mountain of rotting Idaho potatoes. YUCK!

    14Skunky on October 6, 2014 at 1:45 pm

Skunky, while I always prefer to think ill of Maher, what did he say that was equivocal?

Certainly he did not say that Islam is inherently more murderous doctrinally. He probably thinks that all religions were as bad as Islam at some point in their history–and I disagree. He probably does not know that Islamic doctrine is unique in prohibiting the kind of interpretive change that is found in other religions. But then he is anti-religion.

skzion on October 6, 2014 at 3:00 pm

Exactly, Skzion. You answered your own question. He’s an atheist and religion hater, so that alone mitigates his belief. Many low-infos (and more dumber…) will think more about how religions are all evil as opposed to the inherent evil of Islam. That hurts the cause.

And he doesn’t say the Islam in itself is the problem. He’ll equivocate and say there are some “good ones”. The “good ones” are as rare as rocking horse sh**. One has to ask the “good ones” if they believe Israel has a right to exist and if they condemn Hamas & Hezbollah and any other Islamo nutters. I don’t know any like that. Many Jews themselves don’t even pass that test!

I think the ‘Kitchen Witch’ mentions Malala or however you spell her name. What good does she do? She still wears the hijab. She’s still Moooooooslim. That alone makes me very suspicious of her. She’s young, but the litmus test still applies. I’d take her more seriously if she was NOT Moooooslim anymore.

All I see is bending over for Islam and PC equivocation. I’m sick of it. I don’t know many who see it as I do. I bet the “Loverboy” fan club has more members in 2014 than people who see Islam realistically.

        15Skunky on October 6, 2014 at 4:25 pm

Skunky, I don’t see why being an atheist and a religion hater invalidates an especially vehement anti-Islam perspective. The key words are “especially vehement.” Maher said that other religions, as actually implemented, don’t compare to Islam in terms of violence and brutality. He did NOT say that “all religions are bad.” He pointed out that the periodic reference to the Christian who bombed that abortion clinic in ’84 is still in the liberal talking points but Islam isn’t.

I think that it is ESSENTIAL to ally with the Maher types on this one issue. Otherwise, it’s too easy to dismiss opposition to Islam as partisanship and racism.

skzion on October 6, 2014 at 7:38 pm

I think we mostly agree Skzion. But I don’t put much credence in allying with Potato-Faced Mountain. What he is spewing now should have been elementary years ago. He’s a “Johnny Come Lately”. When I stated he hates all religions I was using his long past saying so, not quoting directly from this round table of retards. He even has a documentary on it. We mostly agree, I just don’t care he’s finally saying MOSTLY the right things.

But I will admit, Skzion, it may be due to my bias to him. I really more than detest him and I love to loathe him. I may agree with you more if he was someone else, but also maybe not. I am very resolute on Islam and meant it when I stated I have NO patience with peeps not seeing the truth. (Not saying you don’t see it, you clearly do, I just get straight to the bone…). I am truly troubled by the pass Islam gets.

I really need to look up DS’ posts on the Malaysian airliner. I was not here during that strange time and will put it on the line that from the get-go I KNEW it was Islam. And when the plane was not found (remains) I knew even MORE. It’s that simple to me. I could be wrong, but I think it NEVER crashed and is hidden somewhere by Jihadis. As I stated long ago, airline crashes are EXTREMELY rare. That is why I believe that the plane that went down in East Rockaway was taken down by a Jihadi and NOT mechanical error alllllll the way back in Nov 2001. Where is the tin-foil hat crowd on THAT one? Those idiots chase foolish sh** & NOT facts and common sense.

          17Skunky on October 7, 2014 at 12:18 pm

Some people have left religion because they see it as irrational, dogmatic and inhumane.

And given the way leaders of various religions have historically behaved, they have a point. People have twisted religion for their own ends – not always to bringing out the best in the world.

That was true of Judaism and Christianity at various points in history and its true of Islam since it was born 1400 years ago. Its hard to view religious believers as pillars of the community when they are hypocrites.

I’m not making an argument against religion per se but its hard not to see it needs to undergo a change for people to take it seriously again.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 4:30 pm

I agree Norman. But that goes without saying.

I’m into religious freedom and I can’t stand Libtards who blame religion (yet all the while looooove Communism, which is even deadlier and more horrid) yet, still some of the most people I mistrust are Holy Rollers. I love the authentic kind but I can’t stand the frauds.

When I was Liberal (and not very anti-religion, actually) it was standard for other Libtards to knee-jerk hate religion. I can’t stand that kind of anti-religion.

But phony Holy Rollers are the WORST.

My point I guess is that frauds and anti-religion YET Islam lovers are retarded. And fake Holy Rollers are more than annoying and hurt the cause.

          16Skunky on October 6, 2014 at 5:27 pm

You can take the threats of death seriously if you leave. That’s been true 1400 years ago and the day it changes Islam will dissolve Norman.
Do you want to wait around and see if it’s you or them that dissolves first before they get the chance to be taken seriously?

japple on October 6, 2014 at 5:27 pm

Islam is a religion of force, it’s a religion of conquest.
Christians and Jews had better wake up to the fact that Islam is the religion of the sword.

Islam can’t exist without suppression and more importantly Islamic scholars know this. Muhammad knew it for Pete’s sakes.

japple on October 6, 2014 at 5:33 pm

I’m not dim-witted enough to even try to stoop so low that I might be able to grasp what these two brain-tumors are babbling about, but I trust Debbie, so fark these two infections on the ass of humanity ..

Jack on October 6, 2014 at 12:51 pm

Guys and DS, what Ben Affleck did the other day was spewed out the typical left wing relativist rubbish, of making such claims as, “just about all cultures, laws, ways-of-life and religions are the same no matter what”, that relativism statement couldn’t be any fallacious than ever.

What Bill Maher and Sam Harris did the other day was used “moral/ethical-realism” of pointing out dogmatic, philosophical tenets in the faith of Islam, in which yes, Islam has TONS of teachings that are radical, violent, hateful, etc., it’s clearly no secret about this faith.

And I’m a little disappointed in Michael Steele for to sounding like a relativist of making excuses in the book for Islam, I don’t know if Mr. Steele is ignorant or knows the fact that Islam views folks of our ethnicity (he and I are both black males) as “abeed” or “abed”, which are derogatory terminologies in the Arab dialect? I’m sorry, but scrutinizing a faith, philosophy or ideology does NOT compute to racism or bigotry, it’s using “skepticism” and seeing reality for what it really is, remember, Islam is NOT an ethnicity or a racial group(s) of folks, and the term “Islamophobia” is made up and invented by the Arabs more likely in Qatar in order to silence critiques on Islam?!?!

Sean R. on October 6, 2014 at 3:29 pm

Very annoying that Ben Afflicted remains clueless. Doubly annoying is that Afflicted will be getting very rich playing Batman in the next installment of the franchise, given that Batman is a character created by two Jews, Bob Kane (Kahn) and Milton “Bill” Finger.

Ralph Adamo on October 6, 2014 at 3:33 pm

It is fitting that Affleck plays Batman. Although Batman has Jewish origins, DC Comics has always been left wing. Even during the 50s, they consistently took potshots at Eisenhower, and Debbie has written about the leftism of DC Comics multiple times.

Little Al on October 6, 2014 at 4:18 pm

Al, I was not aware that DC comics has “always” been left wing. In recent years, certainly–both DC and Marvel have indulged in deep leftist politics. I had attributed this to the change of ownership to big media. (I think today Warner owns DC and Disney owns Marvel–but not certain.)

As for the Golden and Silver age of comics, I haven’t sensed that to be the case, but I’m not a first-hand expert and am currently reading a book on the history of comics called “From Krakow to Krypton,” by Arie Kaplin, who interviewed all of the living writers and artists that he could for his book. If you have some references on the politics of the comics from the earlier days, I’d be interested in following up. (I’m aware of Debbie’s articles, but–with reference to the politics–I only recall seeing them in connection with DC/Marvel in more recent years. Certainly “Captain America vs. The Red Skull” (Marvel) would not seem to reflect a pro-leftist stance, but that’s Marvel.

Ralph Adamo on October 6, 2014 at 7:16 pm

Look at the early issues of Superman. He battles evil coal barons, and other evil rich people. Wonder Woman was an early feminist model — the comics had shorts about ‘notable’ women, issue after issue. In the 60s, we saw things like Jimmy Olsen, Superman’s pal, battling slumlords.

Khrushchev and the Russians were ridiculed occasionally at the height of the Cold War, but it was nothing like the battle they waged against fascism — of course I supported DC’s campaigns against fascism, but there should have been equal campaigns against the Communists during at least the height of the Cold War. Other publishers like Gleason, Fox, etc., were much more conservative.

Although DC comics (like Street and Smith who published The Shadow, and like Archie comics) are copyrighted for the most part, many of the other golden and silver age publishers were not, and sites like Comic Books Plus have tens of thousands of issues from that time period publicly displayed, They are in the public domain for the most part and available for free once you register.

Back to DC, they went wild when Kennedy was elected. Superman in one story promoted Kennedy’s physical fitness program, for example. Supporters of Eisenhower during the 50s were portrayed as stodgy and unattractive people.

I’m not aware of any books which really go into this, but it is easy to obtain DVDs of Golden & Silver age DC comics, on sites like eBay, IOffer, etc. You can get dozens of Golden and/or Silver Age comics on one DVD for about $10. Virtually all are available, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, World’s Finest, etc.

Incidentally, you may be aware that Frederic Wertham, the German psychiatrist who was in large part responsible for the Comics Code in 1954 was a lefty. He was associated with the Frankfurt School in Germany during the 20s, and in the early 50s was a character witness for Ethel Rosenberg during her trial. He sponsored educational projects in Harlem during the 40s, and used these as a rationale for ‘cleaning up’ the comics. Portrayals of him as a right-winger are inaccurate.

Little Al on October 6, 2014 at 8:45 pm

Argo was over-rated juvenile crap just like the films its director starred in.
The way critics went on about it I thought it was not totally going to not be some silly Hollywood fairytale. The first 5 minutes set me straight on that score.
People said Oh, it gets better after the animated sequence. Note to self. Never listen to such people.

Before I didn’t really think much or care about Ben Afleck and after watching his idiotic performance on this show that won’t change any time soon. At least the other apologists know they’re liars. Afleck is a dud. His academy award was a dud too.

japple on October 6, 2014 at 4:27 pm

People make can great movies and have still repulsive opinions. One has nothing necessarily to do with the other.

Richard Wagner was a talented composer who fervently hated Jews.

One should not make the mistake of believing that artistic talent somehow ennobles people and makes them more enlightened than the rest of us mortals.

Intellectuals, in my opinion, are highly overrated.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 8:29 pm

Steele is trying to not offend voters.

Afleck is trying to not offend movie goers.

Maher and Harris know what is going on.

This is not a debate.

Steele and the actor got skunked.

No one noticed he shifted the whole conversation from liberal double-standards over liberal values, to what percent of Muslims are terrorists. They should have asked him what percent of Muslims support killing gays and oppressing women, and what percent are anti-semitic and anti-christian bigots, to which the answer would be basically all of them.

I shouldn’t have played that video of big head affleck so soon after dinner Debbie. Instead of Gone Girl it was more like Gone To Go Hurl. This moron has no freaking clue about Islam and the danger that it poses. It really does get on my nerves when numbskulled Hollyweirdo leftists spew their crap about things they no nothing about. And what was funny is the I agree with the little sawed off runt Maher. I guess that in his case even a troll can find the underside of a bridge. As for Michael Steele this guy was a huge disappointment when he had Rinsed Pubics job as RNC Chairman. Spent lavishly and did bupkis. And if there was a person that I detest more than BigHead Ben is that crapweasel Nicholos Kristoff. Under leftist gas bag in the dictionary you will find his ugly mug. Back to big head. Not only did this clown screw up one of my favor Marvel superheroes in Daredevil now he’s going to screw up Batman. We can only hope that he doesn’t wreck The Dark Knight like that other Islamic loving idiot George Looney Clooney. And could someone please call Capitol One and tell them to put the Vikings back in their commercials. Jennifer Garner makes me want to you guessed it hurl.

It should be no surprise that Affleck is such a moron on this issue – after all, he’s been best buds with fellow lefty Matt Damon who considered as a good friend (and, I.I.N.M., neighbor) the late, unlamented Howard Zinn (R.I.H.). But as for Steele, his Islamo-apologism shouldn’t really be a surprise; if you get close enough to a liberal Beltway Republican, that is one of their characteristics – unfortunately.

But why so many young people take the uninformed opinions of Hollywood dodos like Affleck so seriously, is a product of their being indoctrinated into a total PC environment, as well as to the cult of personality. G-d forbid if a drive to lower the voting age even further to 16 – where their judgment on anything is, if possible, even more shallow and superficial than 18-year-olds (whose own participation in the voting process has helped facilitate the damage to this country as what Debbie over time has opined about the women’s vote) – should take hold and succeed, it will end up creating yet another monolithic Democrat voting bloc. Especially with such factors as peer pressure and the issue of “coolness.”

Deb:

I’d like to think that your acquaintance with Bill Maher had some positive impact.

“Its not racist to be an Islamophobe” Now that is deep. People need to take this quote in, this is right on.

@MIGirl, this isn’t a US Weekly Blog.

Im not a repub, but Michael Steel never did impress me. See I personally would not have taken the job, because it was obvious Repubs put him there to counter Prez, racially in appearance. That was weak.

MrBigBrain on October 6, 2014 at 10:58 pm

Maher still isn’t connecting all the dots. But at least he is in the right playpen on this one. Whenever I hear people attacking anti-sharia advocates as racists, I know that they don’t have a clue. As the Great Tom Kratman put it, “Since when is Islam a religion?”

Affleck=Damon=Damon’s puppet on “Team America.”

Occam's Tool on October 7, 2014 at 4:39 pm

Actually, Tom said, “since when is Islam a race?” But he has also noted that Islam is not primarily a religion but a totalitarian ideology.

But as they say in my profession, “the unconscious makes no mistakes.”

Who cares what either of them thinks or says.

JoeG629 on October 7, 2014 at 9:00 pm

Under Steele, the GOP got pounded.

Useless idiot.

Hopefully, Steele and Affleck will soon get their “Lunch in Tul Karem.”

@ Lil Al- Good stuff. Never even paid attention that comics have agendas. Just shows me, we are constantly bombarded. Sometimes I read Debbie’s movie reviews and she’ll point something out, where
I think, “now why would they do that, or come on, she’s reaching” but she probably is right to be suspicious.

There’s been some decent banter the last couple of days. Its not taking my post, so I’ll just keep Addimg stuff till it does. Let’s try again.

And again.

MrBigBrain on October 8, 2014 at 2:17 am

Good stuff Lil Al. Never thought comics had an agenda. Just shows us all that we are constantly bombarded.

MrBigBrain on October 8, 2014 at 2:19 am

Some decent banter the last few days. I just caught myself up on last week, in regards to the post about but he missing girl dressed quite suggestively, I never seen so many posts or seen people dogpile the author so. The responses were entertaining yet foolish, they missed the point of the article entirely.

MrBigBrain on October 8, 2014 at 2:32 am

Beheading Affleck would have no effect on him – he’s already dead from the neck up. Better to use him as a Mooslim parrot.

Concerned Citizen on October 8, 2014 at 1:08 pm

    *stupid.

Ben Affleck is a stupid idiot.

Truth on October 9, 2014 at 9:31 am

You you feel so angry because his daughters will wear the scarf??? Is it because they will do it as a response to God’s laws which drives you crazy! Or because you want all other parents’ daughters to dress like sluts like your daughters!?!?!?

Ahmed khalaf on October 13, 2014 at 12:59 pm

You sound just as stupids as he does.
