Everytime any of the practitioners of the Religion of Peace express themselves as they are taught from the Qur’ an, they just prove my point that these “people” are nothing but 7th century barbarians living in the 21st century using technology they couldn’t even conceive of – let alone inventing it.
And, just as the Qur’ an is obsessed with sex and the brutalization of women, these savages also have the same obsession. In fact, that’s all they think of.
As for the double standard about perpetrator and victim types, and how they are treated by law enforcement, you are unfortunately correct. Proof of that lies in the coverage of every day newspapers for even lesser crimes. And that is why these barbarians are so emboldened to send you threatening e-mails with impunity.

Debbie – My heart goes out to you. On my podcast and website we regularly hold Muslims accountable and we have found that anyone who questions Muslims are often threatened in some manner. One of our favorite listeners from mosquewatch.com reports he receives threats often. I hope this is just someone shooting off their mouth and peace and safety finds you.

Geez, I am shocked, just SHOCKED, that inside the pristine, sanctimonious, ivied walls of the University of Michigan discrimination of any kind goes untrampled by the university’s PC police. Does this mean that anti-Semitism is allowed? Condoned? Are the Regents aware of this? If not, make them aware!
Debbie, I’ll bet I know the only way to get the university involved. Tell them the nutcase kooks are Ohio State grads.
As for the FBI, this further reinforces my belief that it, the CIA and Homeland Security need cleaned out top to bottom.
If you don’t have a Concealed Carry Permit, get one and pack heat.

I don’t believe that the FBI would act in the way you portray. Here are some questions for Debbie:
1. Why do you say that the message to the imam which was prosecuted was less threatening? There is a clear death threat indicated.
2. Are you saying that the FBI conducted no investigation on your complaint? It seems that you had many phone calls with SA Oulett. Is it possible the investigation was unsuccesful or did not find evidence of a prosecutable crime?
3. If federal law enforcement opens an investigation or decides not to pursue a signifigant matter the case is usually presented to the US Attorney for an opinion and declination. Are you aware of any USAO contact in this matter?
4. I find it hard to belive that an experienced FBI agent would blurt out the types of comments regarding Jews which you indicate. What was the context of the conversation?
5. If you feel you have been ill served by FBI did you ursue the matter by requesting meetings in the company of your attorney with the SAC and US Attorney? Did you complain in writing to FBIHQ, FBI Civil Rights Unit, DOJ, FBI Office of Professional Responsibility or DOJ Inspector General? Please post your letters and any response.
6. Did you pursue the matter with your local police?
7. Did you consult with an independent expert (for example a former prosecutor who is now a law school instructor) for an outside opinion as to whether the horrible email you received is prosecutable?
8. Did you try to shop this story to local
Detroit media?
I don’t want to discount the distress you experienced, but this account does not add up for me.
