Casey Kasem, Anti-American, Anti-Israel Creep, Buh-Bye – RIH

By Debbie Schlussel

**** UPDATE: Casey Kasem Hosted Anti-Semitic Palestinian Event Featuring Jew-Hater, Holocaust Denier ****

So, radio disc jockey Casey Kasem is dead at 82. No tears from me. As recent readers will note, I pointed out that Kasem has a long history of anti-American, Israel-hating activism, which includes support for HAMAS and its terrorist activity against Israel.

caseykasemadc

Karma is a Bitch for Israel-Hater Casey Kasem (Pictured at Openly Pro-HAMAS/Hezbo ADC Fundraising Dinner)

Kasem supported Islamic terrorists and publicly opposed Israel’s efforts to fight them, every step of the way. Kemal Amin Kasem (his real name) was a Druze Arab who was a constant presence at Arab and Muslim rallies and events against Israel. He was also a frequent participant in anti-American protests. He was a darling of the left. Read all the details here.

It is fitting that Kasem–who was suffering from Parkinson’s and dementia–spent his last months being dragged back and forth in a traumatic family feud between his children from his first marriage and his second wife. I am glad that he experienced even a fraction of a fraction of a tiny modicum of the trauma and terror he wished upon Jews and Israelis. What goes around comes around.

Casey Kasem, get ready for the hot climate where you are headed. Rot in hell, voice of Shaggy.

Reader Lisa:

Thank you for the truth. While everyone is “mourning” this creep, you spoke the truth!

Yup, as with Maya Angelou and all the other harmful lefty celebs the media mourns and gushes over, truth is a rare commodity.

Casey Kasem shouldn’t be mourned. Not for a single second.

The suffering this guy got before dying might be something he will be expecting in the afterlife? Too bad the real bastards that did a lot worse do not suffer a fate similar to Casey.

Mario on June 15, 2014 at 8:00 pm

And, as always, the Druze Arab just had to have a blonde ‘ho as his main squeeze. A sandshark.

D. Delaney on June 15, 2014 at 8:08 pm

Reports I’ve seen indicate he’d actually suffered in his last few years from Lewy body dementia – which is similar to both Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. Still, with such an anti-American, Israel-hating, Islamo-terror supporting creep, same difference.

ConcernedPatriot on June 15, 2014 at 8:20 pm

Not all Druze are pro-Israel. Something to keep in mind.

They’re not Muslim but some of them are spear carriers for Islam, like Casey Kasem.

Good riddance!

NormanF on June 15, 2014 at 9:21 pm

My husband and I interviewed one of the Druze Knesset members about 22 years ago and he told us that the Druze are loyal to the country that takes them in and it has caused problems between the Israeli Druze and the ones in Syria and Lebanon. So, with Kasem’s family being from Lebanon, there’s no surprise there.

M: One other thing I would add to my response to Esser Agaroth, below, is that Nada Nadim Prouty, the Hezbollah spy who infiltrated the FBI and CIA when she was in fact and illegal alien, was Druze. America embraced and took her in, and she spied for Hezbos anyway. DS

Meira on June 16, 2014 at 12:28 pm

Praying that Casey heard the truth about Jesus Christ before he met his maker, although I’m not holding my breath on that. He has already found out that he was deceived all his life and that his “moon god” Allah was nothing but the devil in disguise.

Rapture Forums on June 15, 2014 at 9:42 pm

His end: he was a burden to wifey, and she had him cared for poorly. He got bed sores (poor treatment nearly 100% of the time) and developed a serious infection, which got into his bloodstream, I suppose. Kiddikins tried to kill him off by starving/dehydrating. Wifey must have benefitted more from keeping him alive–barely.

Medical profession, which tries to kill off the elderly by sending to hospice (so death does not count against hospital) was happy to advise that killing patient was nicer to him, even though there was no evidence of his pain that we know of. We also don’t know of the extent of his dementia.

To be clear: this guy deserved no sympathy. I’m glad he is dead. Alas, the same means are used to kill the elderly very often, especially when they are on Medicare.

skzion on June 15, 2014 at 9:56 pm

SK, thanks for confirming what I suspected about Hospice. I had no doubts about Medicare. My mother in law should be alive because she was strong and otherwise healthy when she was diagnosed with Leukemia, or euphemistically, Multiple Dysplastic Syndrome. She should have been considered for a marrow transplant, despite her age. They chose, instead, to transfuse her rare blood type “palliatively.” She lived several years with those transfusions and to me, the proof she could still be alive is that she survived a hip fracture, actually the crown of the femur, which they repaired and then a bowel prolapse which they didn’t want to repair. OOOH nooooo! “You can’t withstand that surgery!” Well, she wasn’t going to take that. It was painful and embarrassing and stripped her of her dignity when she was still capable of rational thought and mobility. She demanded and got the repair surgery and came thru that with flying colors. This was not a woman to be on palliative care but that’s what they did. When the transfusions got too expensive, they said, “they’re not working anymore” and stopped. When she grew too weak, she went to hospice where she lived about a week. That was after a couple days “in home” hospice care didn’t kill her. (WTH is “in home” hospice? She didn’t even have round the clock nurse or aids.)

Meira on June 16, 2014 at 12:37 pm

Yes, Meira, your story sounds familiar.

skzion on June 16, 2014 at 1:49 pm

So, now maybe you have a better understanding of why I prefer to live in Israel. I’m healthy but I’m getting on. I was on Medicaid briefly. Scary. At the moment, I have a very good doctor who seems to really care about quality of life for older people. He suggested something for my emotional well being, a way to get more social interaction and it looks like it will work out. I went there today. It’s a senior “day care” but not like any I saw in the US. There was a spirit of LIFE not DEATH. There was an amazing Rebbitzen who came to give a shiur (lesson). She must be close to 90. She walks with a walker but totally bent double at the waist. When she sat, however, she was able to stay straight and look at people directly. The amazing part was her mind and voice. If you only heard an audio tape, you’d think it was a woman half her age. I didn’t understand a lot of it but her words went into my spirit and she spoke life into me and everyone else. And guess what, SK, she was Ashkie. haha. I love this place and hope I can arrange to pay. It isn’t cheap. I have had uncaring doctors here and there’s a bit too much emphasis on pharmacology and tests but I find the European trained docs to be way better in wanting to help the patient. I will disagree with mine and bring him research on why I won’t take statins but I’m willing to meet him half way because I trust him to listen to me.

Meira on June 16, 2014 at 4:24 pm

Meira, Medicaid is not Medicare, of course.

British doctors kill off patients at the drop of a hat–the NHS is notorious for it–so I’d be careful about preferring “European doctors.” Wherever there is socialized medicine, there will be the equivalent of death panels. Israel may well be an exception in this regard. Of course, the gubmint wants you dead, so I’m still not too excited by the exception, if there is one.

skzion on June 16, 2014 at 6:29 pm

I’m not too familiar with the NHS, but good point. I have not been impressed with the Brit doctors here. I was thinking the Continent. You’d be surprised at how good the Russians can be. I think Israel has a better track record. I’ve never been in an Israeli hospital and have no intention of going unless I’m bleeding profusely and/or there are bones protruding from my flesh.
Medicare and Medicaid are two sides of the same coin, sk. Both administered by SSA although Medicaid is funded by individual states and they make the rules. It’s important to inform oneself about medical care and be willing to say NO to a doctor. Mine has been pushing statin drugs but even Mayo Clinic says if high LDL is the only risk factor, and it is in my case, they may not be necessary. So he refused to give me prescription niacin and he noted that I refused medical advice so his young tush is covered if I kick off in a massive coronary event. But I won’t. At least not for many years. I prefer to do it with an intact liver and 25 years of statins make that highly unlikely. Then I’ll be too old for the transplant list so it would be an ugly death for Meira instead of a fast and almost painless one.

Meira on June 17, 2014 at 5:47 pm

Written by a Zionist anti-arab bigot who’s too blinded by her Zionism to recognize israel is an illegally formed nation that actively practices Apartheid because around half of the people who live within its borders are non-Jews who get no representation in government, and live under martial law in a military police state. Just because one side uses tanks and gunships and the other uses suicide bombings and beheadings doesn’t mean they aren’t both terrorists. Israel as the world knows it is on the clock..they don’t last another 100 years, maybe less..depends on whether they have the hutzpah do use the bomb.

Dolomite Johnson on June 15, 2014 at 10:08 pm

First off, Debbie, thanks for the article to yet again enlighten us who the real Casey Kasem really is and his eyesore worldly views, that are totally “cognitive dissonant”.

And secondly to you Dolomite Johnson, I think you need some old fashion history lesson, because your comment is completely full of fallacies, contradictories and horrible credibility with sensationalism. You also do realize that “Israel” was an anquity of a region before that area was changed to “Palestine” by the Roman Empire government (and the word Palestine is a Latin word BTW).

Here goes: The word Peleshet actually derived off a name that appears frequently in the Bible and has come into English as philistine. The naming began to being used in the 13th Century BCE, for a wave of migrant “Sea Peoples” who came from the area of Aegean Sea and the Greek Islands and settled on the southern coast of the land of Canaan. In the 1st Century BCE the Romans crushed the independent kingdom of Judea, after the failed rebellion of Bar Kokhba in the 2nd BCE, the Roman Emperor Hadrian determined to wipe out the identity of Israel-Judah-Judea. Therefore, Emperor Hadrian took the name Palastina and imposed it on all the Land of Israel. At the sametime, he changed the name of Jerusalem to Aelia-Capitolina. And also, the Romans killed a handful of Jews and sold many of them in slavery and so forth! So there’s some historical facts for you and you’re ilk Dolomite Johnson to grasp and learn from!

Thank you Rockhead for the ISM perspective. However, you certainly must approve of apartheid if you support Mooooslims. You must also approve of bigotry and illegality.

Even if I were not a Zionist, and even if the Fakestinians really had a land that included Eretz Israel, I’d STILL support kicking these Fakes out because I always support shrinking the Dar al-Islam.

Don’t forget to claim your 10%-off coupon for Kleenex on the way out.

skzion on June 15, 2014 at 11:49 pm

What apartheid state has Arabs and Druze serving openly in its army?

That would be Israel and that is furthest thing removed from apartheid.

Anti-Semites and Israel haters like you are so blinded that they can’t see Israel is the freest, most prosperous and tolerant country in the entire Middle East.

Take your hate and shove it where the sun don’t shine.

NormanF on June 15, 2014 at 11:55 pm

There are Arab MKs. Jews have a THREE Millenia plus connection with Israel, you mook.

Kasem sucked in many ways. But Debbie fails to list his worst crime against humanity: voicing Shaggy in Scooby Doo!

    Burn in Hades, vermin.

    Occam's Tool on June 16, 2014 at 12:10 am

Debbie had mentioned his voicing Shaggy in her previous article about him to which she’d linked in this one. I do wonder, though, given Kasem’s Druze Arab (Lebanese, actually, per ‘Esser Agaroth’s’ question below) ancestry, from what language was Shaggy’s famous “Zoinks!” cry derived?

ConcernedPatriot on June 16, 2014 at 6:02 am

You’re an idiot. Google “Arab Members of Knesset” It looks like my link sent my reply to “Moderation.”
Then there’s this “apartheid” story, from a LIberal source, no less. Think I’d get the same chance in a Saudi University. Do Saudis even have Universties? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/diana-bletter/guess-whos-valedictorian_b_3602610.html

JeffE on June 15, 2014 at 10:23 pm

I am not surprised. He was a “Palestinian” Druze who cheated on his first wife for his second. The guy had no integrity personally or politically. Nonetheless, keep in mind that even HaShem does not delight in the death of the wicked.

Nicole Czarnecki on June 15, 2014 at 10:32 pm

Dolomite,

Tell your sob story to the women of Saudi Arabia, the “guest workers” of Dubai, and the 3rd generation “refugees” living in their UN-sponsored hell holes in Lebanon and “Jordan”, all illegitimate countries by the way. Ask them about apartheid. My money is on Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon disintegrating quite soon. Israel will be around long after Dolomite Johnson spews his last Jew-hatred.

Hassan BenSobar on June 15, 2014 at 10:33 pm

So how did this ass-clown manage to land a high-profile radio slot and keep it for more than three decades?

Debbie, I thought of you and your previous writing on Kasem as soon as I heard of his death.

Bravo on telling the truth as always.

Jeff_W on June 15, 2014 at 11:34 pm

He was a jerk who finally got a small dose of what he dished out in the end. From what we have seen, he was unloved by his second wife as well as his children. Casey Kasem was an anti-American thug and virulently anti-Israel. He can now take up his new residence in Hell.

@Dolomite….just got kicked in your johnson,eh…now go away

HK on June 16, 2014 at 12:15 am

Druze, huh?

Interesting. Wonder where his line was from.

As you know, Druze tend to be loyal the the gov’t which has control over where they live. Although I do not consider myself a Druze cheerleader, Druze in Israel have been serving in the IDF since the 1950’s, since the Israeli gov’t accepted the Druze leadership’s request to allow their enlistment. They are considered good soldiers, have excellent Hebrew, and some Druze officers have been known to encourage their Jewish soldiers to study more about Judaism.

Druze are also security guards and (I have heard) a trusted force at Ben Gurion Airport, especially replacing Jewish workers on Shabbath.

So, you see why I asked where he was from. Syria? Lebanon?

The other thing is that as far as I know, Druze are MUCH stricter that Jews regarding marrying out. They do not accept converts, and if a Druze marries, man or woman, s/he’s out, and the children are no included in the Druze fold as it were. They’re done.

To the best of my knowledge, Jean was not a Druze.

Yep, he sounds like a nasty piece of work. No brainer as to why he was able to rise the Hollywood and radio ladders of fame.

EA: He was Lebanese Druze and his parents left British Mandate Palestine, where they were living, to come here to the U.S. And while it is true that most Druze are loyal to the country they are in, even some Israeli Druze are not so loyal. There was the case of a Druze cab driver, who knew about an impending homicide bombing in Israel, and he said nothing. Then some of this relatives were killed in the bombing, and suddenly he was upset. And, as I’ve noted on this site, several Lebanese Druze were terrorists in the Syrian National Socialist Party and set up car bombs and roadside bombs to blow up their fellow Lebanese.

Also, what you noted about Druze intermarrying, that is no longer the case. They aren’t so strict anymore. Not even close. Take George Clooney’s fiancee. Her father was Druze–from a prominent, important family of Druze elders/leaders–and he married a Sunni, her mother. And I know of several Druze who intermarried. It’s more common now. One of my friends married a Druze, and they both attended the annual Druze convention in Dearbornistan together. There isn’t the excommunication there once was, that you describe. DS

Esser Agaroth on June 16, 2014 at 1:41 am

DS, Thanks for the updated and corrected information.

There was also the Druze riots in Peqi’in in 2007.

Esser Agaroth on June 16, 2014 at 9:50 am

As I noted in the prior article Debbie wrote on Kasem when his illness was first revealed, like so many anti-American lefties he was a vegan, and he allowed that aspect of his life to seep into some of his professional commitments. On Scooby-Doo, for example, he decreed that Shaggy never eat meat if he ever got the “munchies” (which he did, on so many episodes).

And the link to that ‘R.I.H.’ article on George McGovern’s death was particularly apropos, because Kasem was one in a long line of anti-American lefties in the “entertainment” industry (besides “Hanoi” Jane Fonda who’d posed with him in that pic) who supported that pro-Communist, anti-American, Jew-hating creep who deservedly lost the 1972 Presidential bid.

ConcernedPatriot on June 16, 2014 at 6:13 am

Thanks Debbie for informing us of Casey Kasem’s anti-Jew and anti-Israel rhetoric. We weren’t aware of his hateful activities because of the worthless leftist propaganda news media.

Samantha on June 16, 2014 at 10:09 am

Yes, thanks Debbie. I knew this but some of my friends didn’t and posted condolences on FB. This gave me a handy link to post on my wall where they can see it.

    Debbie,

Apparently you were raised poorly, with a lot of hate and bigotry. Why do you think all Arabs (Muslim & Christian), are Anti-American, terror funding, Jew haters?Do you realize how crazy you sound? If your going to live in Metro Detroit, you need let go of some of these prejudice. You aren’t living in Israel, you’re in America. This was a mean, cruel, and false blog. I hope people have enough sense to check your facts. Shame on you, Debbie.

a strange paradox that he was anti-american yet made himself a household name, an american institution, with his radio show over decades…

no matter how rotten kasem truly was, i just can’t celebrate an old man with dementia suffering at the hands of his family. it’s nauseating. we should leave his judgement where it belongs, with G-d.

As with your last article about Casey Kasem I thank you again Debbie for telling the truth about this bum. Even though I liked Shaggy on Scooby Doo and Robin on Superfriends it still does NOT excuse him from siding with the sworn enemies of the Jewish people and Israel. I also remember listening to Americas Top 40 countdown as a kid not knowing of his slobbering love affair with dirtbags like Hamas. What’s up with creeps and their anti-Jew and anti-Israel hatred? Liberalism is truly a mental disorder and sadly it was mental disease that did Kasem in. Now get ready for the wifey and the kiddies to fight like rabid dogs to see who will get his reported 80 million dollar estate. I’m not a superstitious man but I do believe in karma and that she is the biggest b-witch on the planet. If you’re a jerk or jerkette she will catch up with you sooner or later. Also Dolomite Johnson you’re an idiot who really should brush up on Israeli history before you come here and spout stupid nonsense. Your Jew hating slip is showing big time. Just go back to the Daily Kooks or the Huffinggaspost where they’re probably crying over Kasem’s death.

In addition to hating Isreal while loving Muslim terrorists , he was no fan of the American economic system under which he prospered. I would hear him on radio talk shows, the obscure ones to which few listened. I would hear him attack free enterprise and advocate the redistribution of wealth-your wealth and my wealth, not his wealth…..

Mr. Kasem was a class act. He was a true professional through and through, and his legacy doesn’t deserve to be mired with inane comments and vulgar quips emanating from IGNORANT people! What Mr. Kasem believed in politically was HIS business. He felt what he believed in was right. And that is all that really matters! Mr. Kasem was NOT a pretentious man. He was intelligent, articulate and matter of fact and stood his ground for what he thought was right. I also find it sickening that some shallow-minded folks will say that Mr. Kasem is being “punished” in some afterlife for what he believed in and spoke of publicly. Well, news to ALL of you zany religious zealots out there: there is NO afterlife; there is NO God; there’s not a damn thing except for one’s legacy that should be respected. At least for decent personalities like Casey Kasem.
