DESPICABLE: While US Jewish Contractor Rots in Cuban Gulag, Obama Yuks It Up w Castro @ Mandelastock

By Debbie Schlussel

For years, I’ve been lamenting the outrageous Cuban prison sentence for Alan Gross, the American contractor who was put in a Cuban gulag for installing internet service for the Cuban Jewish Community at the behest of the US Agency for International Development. And while he rots in captivity in Cuba, Barack Obama yuks it up with his prisonmaster. Despicable.

Obama & New BFF Raul Castro . . .

Alan Gross Then & Now, After Four Years in a Cuban Gulag . . .

alangrossalangrossthin

I had a trial scheduled for today (thus, my absence here for the last 1.5 days–sorry), so I was up all night, last night, preparing. And while I was organizing and reviewing my exhibits, I watched in disgust as the Woodstock II for aging hippies, Marxists, and terrorists was taking place: Nelson Mandela Gushfest, or as I call it, “Mandelastock.” Back in the day, they and their contemporaries did drugs and had random sex in the mud at Woodstock. Today, they party in the name of a super-cretin at Mandelastock. I was sickened when in the middle of the early morning, at around 5:00 a.m. Eastern, all the broadcast channels on my cable-free TV broke into a live broadcast of this unearned tribute to a racist, America-hating, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic terrorist-cum-wormfood. And when I returned home from court, I learned that Barack Obama shook hands and yukked it up with Cuban dictator Raul Castro, a total travesty. And it wasn’t just a handshake. It was a handshake and a bow. Check the photos and video.

While Barack Obama is taking selfies with blondes at Mandelastock after slobbering over Castro, Alan Gross is serving a 15 year sentence in Cuba. Gross lost half his weight and is very sick–he’s been in the Cuban jails for over four years. On top of that, both his wife and daughter have cancer, and he hasn’t seen them since they were diagnosed. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama bear responsibility for the fate of Alan Gross because they sent him to Cuba. Yet, each time they had an opportunity to demand Gross’ release, they did nothing. Instead, they pursued opening U.S. trade and travel with Cuba. Yup, that’s the ticket: reward those who imprison Americans who are imprisoned for their service at America’s behest.

It should be a cause for outrage. But as the world is silent over Alan Gross, the mainstream media has multiple orgasms over Obama’s friendly Castro encounter. One wonders if he’d engage in the same behavior (or if the mainstream media would) if Beyonce and Jay-Z, given permission by the Obama government to travel to Cuba on a fake “educational” mission, were put in prison for 15 years. We know the answer. Hmmm . . . while Obama wants America to get involved in the Syrian Muslim civil war and take out Assad, but has no probs palling around with a Castro.

So while Alan Gross continues to sit in a sickly state in a brutal Cuban prison for going on an official U.S. mission–and while his wife and daughter remain seriously ill–America saw on the Mandelastock TV broadcast not a new Bay of Pigs with Cuba.

Instead, there were just two pigs whose egos could fill an entire bay–Obama and Raul Castro. Well, maybe three pigs, if you count the First Ms. Thang, Michelle.

You get the idea that if this were 1943, these pigs would be just as happy exchanging pleasantries with Hitler.

Yes, this is a repeat of Durban. Netanyahu, for all his shortcomings did have the presence of mind to stay away. I guess Obama has Gross’s back the same as he does that of Israel and the other ‘allies’ of the United States. Another litmus test for conservatives (sic) both officeholders and non-officeholders.

And the march towards Dark Ages II continues on.

Amd, with all the gushing over Mandela, we should not forget that the worst anti-Semitic gathering since Hitler took place in Mandela’s South Africa in 2001.

At this point in the USA takedown, these things must be looked at collectively. Add this to the roster of fundamental changes Obama-Putin promised to USA (he didn’t lie about that one…). If you’re eyes are open you should be able to see the picture clearly. The naysayers are on crack and they can’t break the argument so at this point you’re gonna have to flick ’em off like a summer insect on you. It’s a waste of time to give those useful idiots any credibility. These are the sorts I wanna see be turned down for big-time, life-saving medical treatment because of ObamaCare. I’m unforgiving so the just desserts will be wickedly sweet to me. I can’t wait.

This is what the idle and overfed (on junk) American idiot brought on themselves. The ability of Obama-Putin to dismantle USA all the while only a few are alarmed at the red lights and warning signs. It is truly disgusting to behold.

Those of like mind KNOW what they are seeing and you SHOULD be very afraid. This twice elected beast has shown his true colours even though he’s been a raging liar all these years. Who he snubs, who he bows to, who he props up and what the media hides for him. It’s all there to see.

You gotta start prepping. You gotta know what you see IS the truth. You gotta wake up to A-B-C-D.

I don’t think it’ll be that much help in the end but at least you’ll not be one of the snookered sorts.

Despotism and Communism is just settling in now. If you don’t think it can’t get worse here, you have not been watching Venezuela.

And when the truth of ObamaCare is open in all it’s canny glory, you’ll see why the Gubmint has been arming itself for years. Something will have to keep the REAL revolutionaries at bay. (One should also notice the up-tick of strong-arm police tactics used (on criminals and NON-criminals) the past few years…I am alarmed by it).

Wake up. It’s right before your eyes. Even though America is acting as it isn’t.

Obama’s bowing….AGAIN!

Michelle on December 10, 2013 at 6:11 pm

“And it wasn’t just a handshake. It was a handshake and a bow.”

Obama patented that – the “bowshake.”

And because the Journ-o-list keeps his secrets and covers up his foibles, the prince-idiot-in-chief was never rightfully mocked and ridiculed for this cringeworthy habit of his.

The funny part is that it’s soft racism – the extra gentle coddling, praise for minimal feats and the motherly, softly looking-on when the first black president throws a tantrum. It’s the same thing that many whites do in real life.

DS_ROCKS! on December 10, 2013 at 6:20 pm

First, as to Alan Gross.

I blame Obama’s Hollywood supporters, and particularly asswipes like Steven Spielberg, who could pick up the phone and get Obama to do something, yet who does nothing. Same with his partners. I guess being Jewish to Spielberg and the rest of his buddies is only important if you can make a buck or millions off of Holocaust movies.

As to Mandela.

Mandela was also a homophobe. He let AIDS fester in South Africa because he looked upon it as a “gay” disease, yet not a single person has mentioned this. Where are all of the gay activists? Their liberal friends? They blamed Ronald Reagan for the spread of AIDS as if he was personally f–king everyone in the ass, yet there is silence when it comes to Mandela.

Where is the outrage over the innocent White people killed thanks to the terrorism brought about by Mandela? Oh right, only white people being killed.

Jonathan E. Grant on December 10, 2013 at 6:21 pm

JEG, absolutely right regarding AIDS. Not only this, but in Africa, AIDS was not, and is not, mainly a gay disease. (The reason there was such fear in the US regarding AIDS spreading “into the general population” was precisely because of the African example.)

skzion on December 10, 2013 at 8:45 pm

“…in Africa, AIDS was not, and is not, mainly a gay disease.”

Maybe a little editorializing with that statement, skzion.

The disease most assuredly originated in Africa where, how precisely it crossed species remains unknown, whereupon it was then carried extensively and predominantly by gay males in first-world societies.

The subsequent explosion in Africa is squarely the result of the popular African folk-notion that AIDS can be cured in males by having sex with a virgin female resulting in the rampant, widespread rape of girls, extending even to infants.

Infected girls, thanks to the growing availability of AIDS treatments, allows these infected girls to reach child-bearing age where they then cross-infect some of their own children and/or give birth to females who will be raped thus creating the upward spiral of AIDS cases.

It’s noteworthy to also understand that AIDS could be cured in one generation, forever, if infected people would simply use condoms and/or abstain until they died. The disease would be eradicated.

This is interesting because the dollars spent on AIDS research now outpaces monies spent on other diseases such as on heart, kidney and a plethora of other diseases simply because the gay political voice overwhelms policy and perception.

Tens or hundreds of billions spent regularly not to cure Africans so much, but rather to allow gay males to have unhindered and unprotected sex at their whim.

Lastly, while on the subject, I’m reminded about a news item a few years back about a team of healthcare volunteers who traveled to Africa to dispense and teach about condoms. They demonstrated how to use the condoms by unrolling them over a banana or a broomstick. When the researches did their follow-up one year later, they found not only was there no decrease in births, but there had been a population explosion. Only after the befuddled researchers learned that the women had dutifully placed a condom on their broom or banana before sex did the researchers learn exactly why.

“Only after the befuddled researchers learned that the women had dutifully placed a condom on their broom or banana before sex did the researchers learn exactly why.”

WELL, THEN!!! I thought it was only us conservatives who had our cultural compass skewed. You mean Third World nations really ARE full of people who need someone to take them by the hand, . . .

AND EXPLAIN THAT THE CONDOM GOES ON THE PENIS, THE BANANA IS ONLY A DEMONSTRATION?!?!?!?!!!!!!??????!

And the liberals are always telling us it is our elite manner and condescending, sneering attitude toward anyone “different” from us that is the real problem.

My cousin was a physician specializing in pediatric AIDS and I don’t quite believe the story about the woman putting the condom on the broom. The spread of AIDS has been controlled in some countries in Africa, but not South Africa.

It is actually now harder to control AIDS in America because so many ignorant people feel that if they get the AIDS virus, they will just take the AIDS drugs and just live with the virus. People hear look at how long Magic Johnson has lived by using the latest drugs and they think they can outlive the virus. It is stupid and irresponsible (and on a side note, I guess Magic Johnson’s Johnson wasn’t so magic after all).

Jonathan E. Grant on December 10, 2013 at 11:48 pm

Mr. Grant, I understand your suspicions, but in cultures who are used to having gods of the sun, gods of the moon, gods of hippos, gods of flies and rats, as well as ancient tribal feuds, and lives filled with chants and rituals, it’s not farfetched. I’m referring to the story about women, not a woman, multiple women putting condoms on broomsticks and bananas.

Americans actually indulge in similar practices, masked by the more modern and seemingly more sophisticated nature of our culture.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 10, 2013 at 11:58 pm

For those interested, the CDC has just released a finding that over 60% of HIV infected gay men don’t use a condom when having sex with other gay men.

That shocked me quite a bit and as I have stated, no right-wing holy-roller ever made me re-look at behaviours of gay men. It’s the irresponsible gay men who did that. It’s a sad truth there are more sorts like that than the ones who control themselves.

Skunky on December 11, 2013 at 12:35 am

“People hear look at how long Magic Johnson has lived…”

          Magic Johnson never had AIDS.

He was an activist/investor for the black community (which turned out to be quite profitable for him) and he pretended to have AIDS because he thought his profile would be an effective role model for the black community where AIDS has been especially pervasive and one demo that has had steady growth. Aside from being successful, his stupid scheme also featured that he got AIDS from sex with too many women – thus giving an “out” to infected black men who might otherwise be ashamed of seeking treatment.

Unfortunately, the ruse backfired – as was pointed out in JEG’s post – because idiots believe that Magic’s “treatments” are startlingly effective and also because it legitimizes Magic’s boast/claim that he contracted it from profuse and unprotected sexual conquests numbering in the thousands.

Magic is a moron and a liar.

          DS_ROCKS! on December 11, 2013 at 12:55 am

“I don’t quite believe the story about the woman putting the condom on the broom…”

It was legitimate- maybe an AP article or the like. I’m pretty much a stickler on source and used to have a very large, bindered collection of clippings (that was destroyed by a bottle of Windex) of inane and incredible foibles, but it was obviously a while ago when stories that demonstrated the stupidity of someone other than whites’ would even be reported.

Other ones that I recall were the regular reports of medical and other mishaps from the 3rd world. Multiple ones of patient’s having the good eye or limb removed in surgery and one from India, I think, where an entire bus full of passengers were electrocuted when one passenger tried to load his bike on the roof and it touched the live wire.

          DS_ROCKS! on December 11, 2013 at 1:03 am

The anti-AIDS drugs seem to be stopping the disease now, although you are right that stupid to take a chance. I have a customer (hair salon) with multiple infected males who’ve been HIV-positive for upwards of ten plus years, and seem to have no ill effects as they continue the Rx regimens.

DSR, what an intriguing post. I never heard that about “Magic” Johnson.

But all these years I could never reconcile how he got it from all the woman he slept with. I just assumed some were junkies and “bisexuals”.

One time, he was a big hero of mine. How I loved the Lakers and Magic Johnson was my second favourite (I adored Kareem Abdul Jabbar…) and I hated the Celtics. I was so disappointed when it was learned he had AIDS.

But your post has me quite curious now. I don’t know what to think. It’s not implausible but what a pyrrhic victory to take that stance since we know people rightly feel about AIDS.

“For those interested, the CDC has just released a finding that over 60% of HIV infected gay men don’t use a condom when having sex with other gay men.”

Skunky, does this include situations where both men are infected? I’m having trouble believing in the CDC’s methodology here. The CDC’s area of expertise is based on epidemiology, not on survey methods.

skzion on December 11, 2013 at 1:36 pm

Magic Johnson did not have AIDS, he became HIV positive. There are others who have also never actually experienced any of the diseases required for an AIDS diagnosis. Larry Kramer–probably the most important gay activist in modern times–has also been HIV+, and this is fully validated.

skzion on December 11, 2013 at 1:43 pm

skunky: “DSR, what an intriguing post. I never heard that about “Magic” Johnson.”

Thanks, skunky. I can clearly remember him in those early press conferences when he “came out” with his startling news. I turned to my (then) wife and I said I knew he was lying. Mind you that at the time, HIV-fighting drugs were no where as sophisticated as they are now, yet Magic “magically” never lost his robustness and in fact became stockier over the years. Plus, there was no mention about his still-attractive wife and whether they would have to use condoms within their matrimonial unions for evermore.

Even ten years after Magic’s fake confessional, my brother-in-law and his partner succumbed to AIDS and they were far from destitute and had access to the latest and most expensive drug regimes. Yet good old Magic, with those thousands of notches on his bedpost, who tragically contracted HIV from one dirty hoe too many, well, he lives on brimming in health and vigor so he can spread the word in the hood. Ya, right.

          DS_ROCKS! on December 11, 2013 at 5:59 pm

DSR, I’m not sure why you think I’m editorializing. Regardless of why AIDS is a hetero disease in Africa, the fact remains that it is one. SO, for someone like Mandela to pretend otherwise was particularly pernicious. Then, for Mr. Human Rights to be so anti-gay is itself telling.

As for money on AIDS research … I think waaaay too much money has been spent on women’s health problems, to the extent that women now live substantially longer than men (the opposite was true at the beginning of the 20th century). Anyway, a communicable or infectious disease of such virulence as AIDS has traditionally been a high priority because of the costs if not contained. That it hit the US as mainly a gay disease was part of the reason that it was ignored for so long and was not contained. The cost of that early mishandling of the disease was immense. (However, there was plenty of blame to go around–including gay activists and gay establishment types who fought efforts to shut down bathhouses. The fact that dealing with this disease has been so time consuming and expensive reflects its novel (not in a good way) approach to attacking the body. Many of the innovations developed from AIDS research have been applied to other diseases–and DSR, I fully expect there to be an equivalent to AIDS that hits heteros in the US, if not naturally, then via biological warfare.

One of the legitimate purposes of government (it doesn’t have that many) is public health. Be glad that this particular disease is low-risk for you. One rarely gets such an early warning.

skzion on December 11, 2013 at 1:24 pm

skzion: “That it hit the US as mainly a gay disease was part of the reason that it was ignored for so long and was not contained.”

While I agree that Mandela’s anti-gay rhetoric was heinous and damaging, I don’t quite agree that it being branded as a “gay disease” is what hindered research or containment efforts.

Because of HIV’s unique nature and friability, it must be directly placed into porous tissue for it to be transmitted. Thus, the vector, a male, could only efficiently transmit it to a female or another male. Not vice-versa.

A female host is practically impossible to transmit HIV to a male because there are no exposed or open/mucosa membranes on the male (in hetero sex.) However, male-to-male transmission is a perfect condition for the HIV virus to be transmitted.

To suggest otherwise, i.e., that the virus can mysteriously “crawl” from the infected female into the male sex partner then suggests that the virus is hardy and can survive externally for periods of time and/or can be transmitted via closed surface-to-surface contact. But thi sis something that AIDS activists have successfully squashed and taken off the table.

“No need to worry about breathing the same air or drinking from the same cup as an HIV+ person since the HIV virus is so fragile!”

You can’t have it both ways. The virus has to be transmitted from DNA fluid from the carrier direct;y into the mucosa or bloodstream of the infectee: Either man to ma or man to woman. NEVER from woman to man. This is why is spread so quickly in the gay community: because gay sex is the ideal and most effective means of transmission.

          DS_ROCKS! on December 11, 2013 at 6:30 pm

DSR: “While I agree that Mandela’s anti-gay rhetoric was heinous and damaging, I don’t quite agree that it being branded as a “gay disease” is what hindered research or containment efforts.”

I’m confused. Clearly SA did zilch about AIDS until fairly recently–well after WHO and other organizations and countries were willing to provide information and help. I’m unaware of this inaction occurring in regard to other disease. If so, how does one explain the unusual response to AIDS help?

In the US–on the part of governments, the medical research community, the media, and organized waaay-left gay politicos–the issue of AIDS being a gay disease certainly seems to have been important in the early (lack of) response.
Frankly, there is no other obvious explanation for why some kept insisting that it was NOT primarily a gay disease, making it a general public danger and attempting to motivate major action against it.

I would consider reading Shilts’s And the Band Played On and Kramer’s Reports from the Holocaust, both apparently out of print but available from third parties on Amazon for a song. The key thing the latter demonstrates is the resistance by the so-called gay establishment, which was abysmal, and by supposedly liberal establishments like the New York Times. As a natural consequence, he was (and I expect still is) utterly despised by nearly all gay political “worthies.” Kramer is certainly a leftist, but he’s not a PC pussy (in passing, he praised the Irgun’s struggle against the Brits as an example of appropriate action).

(iii) The superior Cuban health care system will also cure his cancer. I know it’s superior because high ups in the Democrat Party and their Hollywood friends say so all the time. So do their friends on MSLSD.;
(iv) Mr. Grant, I am glad you answered your own question, because it saved me from telling you that there are NO innocent white people.;

I know, because people in NYC with high IQ’s and advanced degrees, who read a LOT of books and know LOTS about politics say so. So do people in Hollywood.;
(vi) Skunky, you are terrible to bring up Venezuela. Hugo Chavez brought that nation back from the depths of utter ruin. I know this because Sean Penn loved him and said he would punch anyone in the face who called Chavez an anti-Semite. For a fine, upstanding gentleman like Sean Penn to be so passionate about this great populist leader speaks volumes. Shame on you for bringing up Venezuela.;

For Obama, this is very much typical – bow down to brutal dictators and give the proverbial middle finger to loyal allies going back many decades. I too could believe he would’ve similarly brown-nosed Hitler (or Mussolini or even Tojo) had he been around in the middle of WWII.

But besides Mandela’s homophobia as ‘JEG’ mentioned, I read somewhere that he was also a pro-abortion extremist on the order of the NARAL / Planned Parenthood axis, supporting the murder of unborn children in the name of “a woman’s right to choose.” (The omitted part: “…just so long as the only choice they make is aborton.”) And naturally, these groups were among the first to spotlight his so-called “pro-choice” side on their respective websites after his status changed to worm food.

DS_ROCKS! on December 10, 2013 at 10:42 pm

Naturally, Obama bows to Raul Castro. He does what many Americans do, including many on this message board: he blindly obeys authority and authoritarianism. So that would certainly require that he bow not only to Castro but to Akihito, Saudi King Abdullah, and any other dictator-types.

Although the president is the highest political office in the USA, a president is still beholden to powerful special interests, such as big oil, the big banks, and the entire military-industrial complex. In fact, when CIA (in consultation with the business interests that it represents) determines that a certain policy must be followed, a US president must carry out its instructions to a “T.” In many ways, a US president is merely an errand boy, with no real power at all, compared with the power that those dictators that he bows before have over their own nations’ affairs.

Only one other president in the last 50 years stood up to CIA and the military-industrial special interests, when he fired three of the top CIA bosses and issued orders to cut CIA and its special interests down to size. But everyone knows what happened to that daring president one afternoon, and how those same authorities created a cover story and told you this fairy tale so absurd that only a fool could genuinely believe it. But many of you do, following the instructions you’ve been spoon fed about what to think and what to believe.

So don’t blame Obama. Bowing before authorities is a common human experience. And when you think about it, it’s a whole lot better than treasuring freedom. With freedom comes responsibility, decision making, and action. And that is a very frightening concept to even contemplate. Those things should best be left to authorities, right?

And at least in Obama’s case, there’s also a strong element of fantasy in bowing before authority figures. In doing so, he imagines or wishes that he could hold such power as those that he bows before.

I have never had to make like The Hunchback of Notre Dame in order to even shake hands with someone five feet tall. The Muslim In-Chief is listed at the same height as I. Raul Castro is not so short that you need to have a pronounced hump in your back in order to shake his hand. I found speculation that he is 5’4″. I have both hugged and shaken hands with people that height and shorter. Unless I’m hugging them, shaking hands with someone that height does not require The Golfer In-Chief’s humping of the back. I submit that Mr. Adamo’s analysis at the end of his post is all too correct. We KNOW that The Community Organizer In-Chief has “rule the world” fantasies.

And after Obama’s previous episodes of bowing to tyrants, don’t you think he would have wanted to be especially careful not to bow if he wanted to avoid obsequious behavior? Clearly the fact that he bowed, after everything that has happened in the past indicates that this behavior was conscious.

Little Al on December 11, 2013 at 9:32 am

      YES, SIR, L.A.!!!

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 11, 2013 at 9:35 am

Libtard Lee, there is NOTHING you won’t be an implacable contrarian about. Nothing. Those here who know you’re a nutter at least disagree plenty with the ideology we embrace. Something that is foreign to you because when you’re bought and sold, YOU’RE bought and sold.

I’m just pointing it out so those less fortunate can know you’re stupid and not to be given credibility. And you never break the argument you hate. Making excuses is NOT the same thing.

Skunky on December 11, 2013 at 9:35 am

If Fidel had been there, the two would have been smoking cigars at the “afterparty.”

Mr. Adamo, what about the Government Media Complex, and all the bowing that just about everyone in the media does to cover for this administration’s strong arm tactics on everything from health care to trans fats, and the decimating cuts to NASA and the military?

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 11, 2013 at 8:42 am

Disgusting, despicable, nauseating..and I probably missed a few. Going to share. Thanks Debbie.

Naomi R. on December 11, 2013 at 9:10 am

What’s also interesting about the handshake is that the gesture can be viewed as both condescending and polite at the same time. There are a couple times in life when I have shaken hands with very old women who were extremely short. On those occasions I have made it a point to bow to them in order to show them deference, face them squarely and greet them in a polite, conversational fashion. I did so because I figured it would be trite of me to shake hands with them in an everyday fashion.

People can be extremely critical of certain gestures, and I wanted to make sure at those times that these women knew I was giving them the respect and attention I felt they deserved. However, there is also a way to look at the gesture I used as being extremely condescending and disrespectful.

How many times do I have to say it – Obama is disgusting!

David on December 11, 2013 at 9:43 am

David, it CANNOT be said enough, which is why I live every day cringing in fear, . . .

inside me. I do not walk around bawling like a baby clutching a blanket to its face for security.

As long as Magic Johnson and AIDS have been brought up, let’s not forget that Magic Johnson . . .

(i) said at the famous press conference that he had “attained” the AIDS virus, and;
(ii) was made The Secretary Of AIDS by Progressive President George H.W. “Do Nothing George” Bush, and;
(iii) on another occasion referred to AIDS as “a serious academic.” Yes, he did. I did NOT mis-hear him, he SAID it!!!

As for what Skunky said about gay men not using condoms, that has unfortunately been going on for quite a while. My own gay friends have expressed dismay that so many men who came in to the country in recent times, particularly from Pacific island nations, have chosen to do so. As a matter of fact, the NYC subway system actually has a poster campaign aimed at Pacific island gay men to educate them about unprotected sex.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 11, 2013 at 9:50 am

They cheered for Obama when he spoke. Bush received boos. Some thanks considering he gave Africa including SA billions of our dollars to fight AIDS.

Glen benjamin on December 11, 2013 at 10:56 am

Yes Mr. Benjamin, and especially considering one of the left’s darlings, none other than SIR Elton John, recently said that George W. Bush has done more for the AIDS cause than anyone. And yesterday Rush played a clip of Bono speaking at a university about a year ago, . . .

GASP!!! . . .

extolling the VIRTUES of CAPITALISM!!!

The long playing narrative of the American left is crumbling. The problem is that while many in America are waking up to the hustle that has been taking place for the past century, . . .

many in the world at large are beginning to embrace it. This helps to prop up The Crease In His Pants In Chief and the hundreds of thousands of government employees who work to implement the agenda.

And as for TRUE free market capitalism, it is like the rising tide that lifts all boats. The left is only interested in sinking the ship and drowning everyone on it. They all think they’re going to escape to Mars with Richard Branson and “start over.”

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 11, 2013 at 11:15 am

I was wondering if Obama bowing also told Cuba, how sorry he is
Dennis Rodman, did not make the trip, but Obama bowed for him as well… BFF’S

Steve on December 11, 2013 at 11:22 am

DS Rocks … I couldn’t find where Magic Johnson actually said he HAS Aids. Do you have a link to the information?

The headline of an article telling about it said
“BASKETBALL; Magic Johnson Ends His Career, Saying He Has AIDS Infection” … but Johnson said only that he has the virus that causes aids. http://www.nytimes.com/1991/11/08/sports/basketball-magic-johnson-ends-his-career-saying-he-has-aids-infection.html

Amethyst on December 11, 2013 at 11:40 am

Amethyst: Right, my mistake. I type very fast – stream-of-consciousness-type stuff – and was interchanging HIV (human immune-defiiciency virus) with AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) which is the full manifestation thereof.

The point remains unchanged, though. I never believed that magic Johnson had at any point ever been infected with HIV at all: period. He said he did as a ruse to gain popularity and stature as a (in his mind) “humanitarian” gesture in an attempt to encourage young black males – a notoriously overrepresented group and notoriously underrepresented group of tested, reported and treated AIDS victims, to get tested. The black community is especially harsh toward its gay members and the stigma associated with being branded a homosexual in the black community is responsible for much of the disproportional growth therein.

Magic embellished and made it seem that there was a “macho” method to contract AIDS (or HIV) because, as he purports, he got it from tapping so many hoes that he lost count. Supposedly this would de-stigmatize a black male from getting the test and treatment. It is about as likely for a man to contract HIV from a hetero female as it is to catch it from a mosquito – both are possible, but nearly impossible.

Anyone who tells otherwise, is usually a shill for the gay community to de-stigmatize *their* embarrassment for their almost-exclusively gay transmission of the disease because of the mechanics of gay sex, namely, anal copulation. The HIV virus is injected into mucosa tissue, causing the transmission to for all practical purposes, guaranteed.

OTOH, for a woman to infect a man during sex, well, there’s just no openly viable way for the woman’s DNA to gain entry into the man’s body.

Also, any HIV man who truly is infected and swears he got it from hetero sex is lying about some people that he’d been having sex with.

    DS_ROCKS! on December 11, 2013 at 5:49 pm

Amethyst, it may be that the virus later was reported to have appeared in Mr. Johnson. I remember the press conference well. He did not say that he had AIDS, but first you get HIV, then many get AIDS. What DS_ROCKS! is referring to might not be the original press conference wherein Johnson said he “attained” (I guess he made the shot) the virus.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 11, 2013 at 12:05 pm

Skunky, the actual CDC report can be found in the following tinurl that I made:

    http://tinyurl.com/kgf9z5y

    Some key language:

“Unprotected anal sex at least once in the past 12 months increased from 48% in 2005 to 57% in 2011 (p<0.001). The percentage engaging in unprotected discordant anal sex was 13% in 2008 and 2011 [italics mine].”

So, the situation, while unacceptable, is more in line with what I thought. While I don’t have much faith in these behavioral surveys, I do have some faith in changes over time in these results. So, if the discordant percentage had changed, that would be very telling.

Anyway, we’re straying far off track here.

skzion on December 11, 2013 at 5:41 pm

I dunno Skzion. It’s hard to trust anything these days. It’s almost like bizarro world.

But if taken on face value, the article and finding (if accurate, and who knows in 2013…) are indeed troubling. People shouldn’t risk other’s lives like that no matter what orientation they are.

      *****************************************
“A new report from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) shows approximately 62 percent of gay men who know they have HIV/AIDS continue to engage in sexual relations without using a prophylactic, a behavior that can spread AIDS.”

“According to the report, the percentage of men with HIV/AIDS having sex with other men without a condom had increased from 55 percent in 2005, to 57 percent in 2008, to 62 percent today.”

“The surveys cited in the report examine men having sex with men (MSM) for a period of 12 months.”

“In the report, many MSM said they tried to reduce their risk of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections by only having sex with other men who are HIV-positive.”

“However, the CDC noted this is still risky, because sexual partners may be unaware of their status, or may mislead about their health.”

“Trying to get HIV-positive gay men to use condoms may prove difficult, as their use has plummeted among homosexuals. Anal sex without condoms increased by 20 percent among homosexual men between 2005 and 2011.”

“As a result, the rate of AIDS infection among homosexual males has remained an epidemic. Between 2008 and 2010, the number of homosexuals with HIV/AIDS rose by 12 percent, with an especially large increase among young men having sex with other males.”

“Men who have sex with men, which the CDC estimates at four percent of the American population, are more than 44 times more likely to be diagnosed with HIV/AIDS than heterosexual men. MSM make up 52 percent of the American population with HIV/AIDS, and account for about 63 percent of all new HIV/AIDS cases.”

“The report notes two caveats: First, the surveys were primarily done in cities, meaning the results may be limited because of behavioral patterns that differ between rural and urban gay men. Second, the report bases its statistics on self-reporting, which has accuracy factors the report calls “social desirability and recall bias.”
      *****************************************

That said, I am still very interested in DSR’s theory on “Magic” Johnson. I never suspected but he could be right….

Skunky on December 11, 2013 at 9:09 pm

Skunky, to clarify, I was just taking issue with the particular figure that you originally posted, where you implied that high rate of non-use of condoms occurred between so-called “discordant” pairs. Men who know they are positive are not often having unprotected sex with others who are most likely or known to be negative.

Hey, but 13%, even if it seems stable, is a a huge problem. Furthermore, those who are not sure of their status playing around unprotected is a disaster, and this is waaay too high. Even if the survey methodology is decent for particular sectors of gays, it might be that the reason condom use has gone down is that more gay men are in HIV+ relationships.

But look, I am fully willing to believe the worst.

skzion on December 12, 2013 at 8:55 pm

Yes, despicable in the extreme, . . . except, there weren’t enough decent USA citizens to have kept that despicable bunch out of office, . . . and the same for many other of our elected birds.

Phillip Galey on December 11, 2013 at 7:08 pm

Mr. Galey, we will never really know whether there were enough decent American citizens to keep The Crease In His Pants In Chief etal out of the White House. That’s because so many of the others were obviously voting multiple times!!!

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on December 11, 2013 at 9:28 pm

“… if this were 1943, these pigs would be just as happy exchanging pleasantries with Hitler.” Well, actually they did. The same Wall Street bankers and oil magnates who put puppet Obama in the White House were the ones who put puppet Hitler in power in Germany. History repeats itself!
