“District 9”: Alien “Prawns” Acting Like Palestinians

I went to a screening of “District 9,” last week. The movie–about giant aliens who come to South Africa–was pretty decent, and I’m surprised they saved it for an August release, since August is usually the cemetery for bad movies. This one was much better than I expected and far better than a typical August movie (though I didn’t agree with its message). I like the sci-fi, aliens from outer space movies, like this one.

My full review will be posted on Friday. But, for now, I’ll say this: it’s smartly shot in a documentary style, and the typical liberal activist and government fawning over the violent alien “prawns” and much else in the movie reminded me of the Palestinians and our uber-tolerance of them.

Because, with your logic, you have just excused me from slavery. I would’ve thought Obama’s election would’ve gone a long way toward that end, but your argument is the topper. THANKS!

Also, I–as have all Christians–have been pardoned from the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition! I haven’t followed your posts long enough to know your position on these events, but it is now irrelevant. IT’S NOT MY PROBLEM!! Ergo, whatever problem you have with Christians is based on your own prejudice, and not a campaign of violence waged against you in your lifetime (like, say, a jihad. AHEM).

Finally…I used to hate how people bring politics into everything…until I met people who make the media. And THEY…bring politics…into everything. A story meeting, an afternoon seminar, a lunch meeting—everything. I wish I was exaggerating.

God is NO FOOL. Judgment is coming on those responsible for the Crusades and the Inquisitions (convert at the point of a sword – sounds a lot like Muzzies). No one gets away with anything. God has a very good memory. God being just, punishment will come on those earning it (just rewards).

Debbie manages to take “anything” and create a reference to Islam and Muslims in a deragatory way.

It also reminds me of “uber-tolerance” for Jews, after all everyone feels “guilty” for the Holocaust. But how can you feel guilty even if you’re GERMAN if you’re born after 1945? You can’t feel guilty for crimes commited by your ancestors.

The result of this uber-tolerance is, that Jews can do whatever they like, kill whoever they like and NO ONE dares to criticize or oppose them, since they’re the “victims” of Holocaust.

I’m not a fan of Hitler, and his holocaust was a shame to history, but Debbie’s hate-speech is like Goebbles. He made Jews responsible for everything bad, Debbie does the same to Muslims. Even a movie is used for this purpose, how low.

Sounds about right to me. Muslims are not welcome here, and to a large and accurate account they are not human(that is posessing anything related to being connected to humanity.) Everything connected to their religion is baqsed is death, and violence. They havn’t contributed anything to the advancement of humanity. They are simply a plague upon creation.

I came to this conclusion myself. I watch the beheadings, the stonings, honor killings, child rape, the acid injuries, and I ask myself, “How can a person inflict such pain and harm on another human?” At this point, I realized I was assuming “facts not in evidence”, that muzzies are savages and barbarians taking the form of a human and all other similarities to humanity end at that point.

I watched the 12 year old boy proudly behead a man, it took several minutes and was especially grusome. Killer children? What kind of mother would want that for her child?

Only a savage could engage in this activity.

This movie is based on a short film about apartheid in South Africa. It has nothing to do with whats going on in Israel.
And stop calling them muzzies, you do remember the crusades, the inquisition? Every religion has people like this. Dont forget Hitler was a christian.

Christianity almost as much as he hated the Jews, blamed Christians for ending paganism in Germany and sought to bring the old pagan beliefs back. He was into the occult, big time.

You can thank Islam for advances in astronomy, medicine, chemistry, mathematics (the father of algebra was a Muslim), natural science, even physics. A lot of this was a round the time Christians were too busy going after anything that offended the church.

During the middle ages, while the society was still controlled by Islam, other religions were welcome to contribute including Jews and Christians.
You cant thank Islam for introducing to the world the concept of cash cropping and crop rotation.

The father of Algebra was not a Muslim, the man accredited with the formulations of algebraic equations was in fact Diophantus of Alexandria, sometimes called “the father of algebra”, was an Alexandrian mathematician and the author of a series of books called Arithmetica. He was greek, born 500 years before your Muslim friend. The man you are refering too was also not a Muslim, he was Persian, and he was an adherent of the old Zoroastrian religion.

The trouble with Muslims is they steal from other cultures and religions then claim it to be their own.

As far as astronomy, the Myan’s who were not Muslims or Arabs had the most sophisticated system for astronomy, calendars, keepers of time than any other culture in the world.

As far as hospitals, medicine, and medical treatment, the earlist examples of those systems are from the Egyptians, again, who were NOT muslims.

Exactly! I’ve been to Turkey and had the pleasure of seeing all the great examples of Christian architecture there. What is most interesting about the Hagia Sophia is when they painted(defaced) over all the Christian relifs, they left the ones of the Virgin Mary. I always found that odd.

I did say earlier that they made advancements in those fields. Just like we can thank many races and cultures for advancing several ideas. But are you actually saying that not one single Muslim ever contributed to society?

The algebra guy was a Muslim persian, and shares the title of founder of algebra with Diophantus. Either way modern algebra would not be what it is without his work.

And what do you mean steal? Its true that alot of things were first discovered or created by the Greeks, or other very ancient civilizations, and then throughout history they have been studied and made better by different cultures.

The Book of Optics made great strides in physics and helped introduce the scientific method.

Though raised Catholic, Hitler was a hardcore atheist by the time he became dictator of Nazi Germany. To the Germans, he once said:

“Let’s be the only people who are immunized against this disease [of Christianity].”

Hitler’s hatred of Christianity make sense because the faith includes such values as compassion and equality. It’s hard to march Jews into gas chambers when you view them as humans worthy of sympathy.

This also explains why Hitler began a campaign to silence and even murder pastors as well as destroy churches. There was also a bit of jealousy to his actions. In terms of worship in Germany, Hitler felt there wasn’t room for himself and God. (That’s typical of dictators.)

So, let’s squash this “Hitler was Christian” lie.

These posts are disgusting. As one who’s been all over the world, I can say that people are people wherever they are.

Go back deep into the Talmud and you’ll come across all sorts of vile stuff Jews wrote about Christians, stuff that’s not mentioned in today’s politically correct synagogues.

Those countries that are the most advanced are those where Christianity came latest implying the longer Christianity has been around in a country, the less advanced – economically, socially, etc. – it is.

That’s how history is. A conquers B, C conquers A, etc. The U.S. was certainly a conquering nation. We didn’t go from sea to shining sea by being Mr. Nice Guy.

This is ignorance on display …. It was not muslims that smashed the nose of the Sphinx , but Napoleon’s artillery battalion in Egypt using the Sphinx for target practice, during his Egyptian campaign in the first decade of the 1800’s.
