UPDATE – Shooter Not TSA; LAX Shooting: TSA Agent Killed, Other Shot in Leg; FLASHBACK: Homeland Security Trained TSA Agents for Mass Shootings

By Debbie Schlussel

**** UPDATE: We now know that the LAX Shooter is NOT connected to the TSA, as media reports had previously reported. We know he’s a 23-year-old. So, why did he do it? Just another “crazy”? Remember that the Al-Qaeda handbook instructs jihadists to recruit crazies and other mental defectives so that their acts can be pawned off as “just the acts of another crazy person.” Was that the case here? Seems like an awful lotta “crazy” people shooting up Naval bases, major airports, and the White House area, recently. ****

As you probably know, there was a shooting at LAX–the Los Angeles International Airport–in the area ahead of screening. This has always been a vulnerable spot, as numbers of people are there waiting in line, and there are a lot of sitting duck targets (many without their shoes and belts, in the interest of theater). So, who did it, and why?

shootingatlax

A TSA Agent was killed, reportedly, BY AN OFF-DUTY TSA AGENT (according to “officials”). Hmmm . . . time to change the “going Postal” phrase to “going TSA,” as in Tough S–t America! Say a prayer for the murdered TSA Agent, and remember that Homeland Security was prepared for this type of shooting and trained TSA agents how to deal with it. Sadly, I doubt the training included a scenario with a fellow agent as the perpetrator. Homeland Security and other law enforcement authorities have long feared someone setting off a bomb or engaged in mass shooting at airports in the areas before the security screening line. But not this way. And if this were a Muslim TSA agent (there are plenty of those), this would be the perfect way to carry out jihad. He was off-duty, but had the ID and credentials to get past everyone and everything.

From Alan Jones in The Washington Times, earlier this year:

January 26, 2013 ? Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint screeners are receiving training to prepare them for the possibility of a mass shooting at one of the agency’s airport checkpoints, and those TSA personnel are being instructed to “save themselves” should a shooting occur.

It is unclear whether the TSA is conducting the reported mass shooting scenario training at airports around the nation or only at the airport where our source, a veteran of the TSA, is assigned. The TSA source claims with obvious concern that his own life, along with the lives of other unarmed TSA personnel, would be in grave danger were an airport checkpoint shooting to unfold.

The TSA screener, who claims to have recently undergone agency training during which TSA personnel were confronted with a chilling checkpoint shooting scenario, now tries to remain aware of how to get out alive were such a shooting to unfold. “Every day when I arrive for work, I look for an escape route in case someone opens fire,” said the TSA worker. “We have been told to save ourselves.”

Does the TSA already have intelligence about a possible future checkpoint shooting?

It is unclear whether the alleged training is simply a prudent attempt by the agency to protect its own employees from every imaginable contingency. Fears are that the Department of Homeland Security has detected a threat and is already moving to prepare staff to either handle it or get out of the way.

Considering the full range of possible reasons for the alleged TSA training, it would be hard to say whether the agency actually expects a checkpoint shooting.

Well, today, they got one (and it’s not the first such shooting at LAX–remember the Muslim attack on the El-Al ticket counter?). Anywhere in an airport prior to the security checkpoint is a vulnerable spot. And, sadly, as we all know, the checkpoint in and of itself is mostly useless, too.

Tonight you celebrate the day of the dead, with or without pampkins. In honor of that day, 1 man took a decision to kill his colleague & make him an angel.
May the USA shoot itself to oblivion.

Simon, dearie, that wasn’t very nice.

skzion on November 1, 2013 at 4:05 pm

Simon or whatever your name is….”pampkins”? Really?

Go back to where you came from, please!

patriausa on November 1, 2013 at 4:41 pm

“Tonight you celebrate the day of the dead, with our without pampkins.”

WTF? May I ask you a question Simon, are you retarded or trying so hard to be a retard? I don’t quite follow your comment at all buddy. If you’re being sarcastic, I’m laughing with you, but, if you’re serious with a straight-face in this comment, then I’m laughing my buttocks at you. And BTW, could you show me anywhere in this link where Debbie celebrated this shooting? She’s only doing what she’s suppose to do, give out information, her analytical thesis, on what’s going in todays world by her being pragmatic by using her brain-cells and intelligence of evolution!

One an only conclude that ABU SIMON is yet another DUNE COON in need of killing. I am guessing this dune coon is implying that Holloween (one day late) is are Holiday of the dead, and this most likely MUSLIM killer somehow chose to actually celebrate OUR evil holiday correctly. YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP PEOPLE!!!

dunecoonkiller on November 1, 2013 at 8:37 pm

Perhaps someone need to smash ABU SIMON BIN SHAWRMOOTA COS COS ‘s head like an f..ng PAMPKIN (of course the dune coon means PUMPKIN)!

dunecoonkiller on November 1, 2013 at 8:42 pm

Mulsims would have jihaded themselves into oblivion centuries ago if they weren’t all married to their cousins with 15 kids, “Slime-on”. Sound familiar? Go polish your payer bump Freddy.

Worked at LAX for years. TSA pinheads were haphazardly & expeditiously created in the panic of post 9-11. The thought that some are armed is frightening. In my opinion, the ONLY folks who had a realistic perception of security were El Al.

I reckon “Simon” is Samir and he tippy-tapped out “Pamkins” on his silly keyboard because he wears Pampers and got them mixed up. Islam is like that.

If not a Mooooooslim I believe this will be another mentally ill nutter…but if he was off-duty TSA then the finger I’m pointing is more towards a Mooooslim than nut-nut.

The math of late says either Islam or psycho. Who will it be?

(Was there a recent shooting in Tenn? I just heard about that today…what was that all about if anyone knows…?)

I watched a TSA agent at Colorado Springs fall on his ass after trying to get to and through a locked door to stop a couple who had accidentally walked through a do not enter area. It was quite comical.

How could this happen? Isn’t the airport a “gun free zone”? Can’t believe a sign didn’t stop this guy.

ender on November 1, 2013 at 8:47 pm

Don’t be thinking about Obamacare, or the rampant NSA spying, or the economy, or the Iran nukes, or the Syrian civil war foreign policy disaster, or the useless Middle East peace negotiations, or the growing Muslim problems we have here…..No, no, no, guns are the problem. We gotta take away the guns.

Red Randy on November 1, 2013 at 9:52 pm

BTW Muslims like the Nazis do not have a lot of sympathy for anybody they consider to be mentally defective. Since they are generally at risk of slipping over the line bordering on insanity themselves simply by following the dictates of their religion this aversion to mental instability is in a sense understandable.
Just saying, I have noticed.

It’s not easy following the teachings of a barking mad at the crescent moon lunatic prophet everyday.

Frankz on November 1, 2013 at 11:39 pm

I will bet $$$$$ that FEDGOV will want to arm these clowns just like the cops! Anyone want to take that bet? Of course not, because I’m right. Just wait and see. They gave them badges, now it’s time for guns too. It’ll happen. It will.

I think Debbie’s point about Muslim cultivation of crazies is spot on. Not only do we “suddenly” have a upswing in crazies, but they seem to be directed to targets that are suspiciously consistent with jihad.

There’s an additional possibility that the very attempts of politicians to have massive Muslim inflows and simultaneously to try to avoid the usual consequences has created a situation that encourages crazies.

Indeed, it’s possible that even without explicit recruitment crazies form agendas based on Muslim-attacks.

So many possibilities, all of which could be working simultaneously

‘Navy Yard murderer Aaron Alexis created webpage with name “Mohammed Salem”‘

Frankz on November 3, 2013 at 3:06 pm

Frankz, could you substantiate this claim (warning: the first hit was on Scamela’s web site, so skip that one).

If true, this is quite interesting.

skzion on November 3, 2013 at 4:42 pm

Actually, I just found the evidence reported at CNN.

skzion on November 3, 2013 at 4:47 pm

This TSA shooter is a windfall for the administration. Now they can shout the dangers of “homegrown” terrorism while looking the other way at foreign terrorists whose supporters they have become so close to.

Every choke-point becomes the “target,” no matter the stand-off distance to the “protected” zone/point. This was an issue addressed, at least where I was concerned, as far back as 2006/2007. Ticket counters, entry control points and access control points, drop-off/load zones etc.
The way the flow chart was proposed was that there woulld [will] be staging of “security” beginning at the property line, continuing onto/into vehicle parking, pedestrian paths (to include tramways etc.), ticket counters and TSA checkpoints…
It takes between 60 and 72 months for those “in the know” to implement procedures- RFI’s and RFP’s from/for consultants, training programs, and the contracting therein.
I agree that: 1) TSA will begin training programs to arm “officers,” 2) more overt screenings at increased stand-off distances will occur (vehicles, parking, trams, any long strait pedestrian paths ((easier for sensors and users to “detect” threats)), and if not already in use “FIDO” sensors), and 3) abolishment of curbside drop-off/pick-ups- except for “cleared” taxi’s (think think think).
This will be implemented over time- Why? …FAA, IRS, property taxes, land use initiatives etc…in other words federal/state intimidation.
The “behavioral profilers” are already in use no?
As an aside, I was listening to a late night program, and two sound clips were played; one from 9.11.01, and one from the LAX shooting last week. (KTLA and Fox). How could “two different” men sound amazingly similar in cadence, inflection, lexicon, tone (tip of the tongue and gutteral), and generally specific knoledge and NOT be the same guy? “Nick Pew” on the KTLA piece, and “Mark [forget name] (Harley dude/guy) from the Fox News piece on 9.11.01. It was just a bit weird. (Crazy? …I’ll put my credentials up against anybody.)

Debbie, you might have hit the nail on the head.

Don’t forget a lot of unexplained fires, explosions, tire slashings, murders of teachers, and simultaneous attacks on 8 power substations in Mexico and terrorist attacks in China, Nigeria, South Thailand, South Philippines, Burma, Kenya, UK, France, Mali…. Of course there is no common agenda between any of these incidents.

The system was designed around keeping weapons off of airplanes, it does not protect against attacks on the airport itself. The dry ice bombs, the fake Bosnian florida bomb, and airport boy are all working for the same people. They all share a common DNA in the design of their attacks.
