FREE Stuff: Get Your Free Macaroni & Cheese

By Debbie Schlussel

As longtime readers know, I love telling you how to get free stuff. Today, you can get a free box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese by going to this website (and clicking “PROVE IT”). You’ll need a Facebook account to do it. As readers know, I keep kosher, so I don’t eat the stuff (it’s not kosher, as far as I know). Plus, even if I could eat it, I don’t want to spend my time to save 79 cents (or whatever it costs) to get a free box.

But if you have the time and aren’t Jewish, it’s more free stuff for you. Check it out here. You’ll receive one coupon for a free box of Mac & Cheese, worth up to $1.65 (where on earth is a box of Mac & Cheese $1.65?!).

Enjoy.

“where on earth is a box of Mac & Cheese $1.65?”

When it’s not on sale, it costs about that here in Simi Valley, CA. But it regularly goes on sale for $1/box and that’s when I buy it.

People mock it, but my four kids all loved it (and still do) and when you’re on a grocery budget it’s a dependable, fast and tasty meal.

Betty Crocker (General Foods, I think?) recently came out with a competing Mac-N-Cheese and were giving away sample boxes but the stuff was terrible.

Betty Crocker used to make very good noodle packages in different flavors: Romanoff, Almondine and Stroganoff. (Had the second-named without the almond package that came with it.) Unfortunately, some time in the 1980’s they abandoned that whole line. (Noodle Roni’s – now Pasta Roni – Noodles Romanoff was not nearly as good, and in any event they abandoned that flavor about a decade or two ago. Their own version of mac & cheese isn’t all that great, either.)
