Tonight at sundown is the last of the Jewish holidays for a while (while Chanukah is upcoming, I don’t take off for that, as it is not that kind of Jewish holiday). The holidays that begin tonight, Shemini Atzeret (which means the “8th Day of the Assembly” and always comes right after the Jewish holiday of Sukkot) and Simchat Torah (which means “Happiness for the–-or of the–-Torah”) end on Friday Night. I’ll be out of live online commission but have stuff (including my Friday movie reviews) that I’ve written in advance for publication here on Thursday and Friday, which I think you’ll find of interest and which are newsworthy. And I’ll likely be putting one or two more things up, today.
