Debbie I think it is wonderful how you have recognized J. He is my favorite blogger and read – next to you and Michelle Malkin. LOL!
You are a great person. You once personally answered my email and had a going conversation with me for awhile about my previous experience living in the Mideast and my children from my previous marriage whom are Muslim. You having done that does not surprise me that you would recognize J – that is just the kind of person you are. Kind and thoughtful.
I like so many others admire and respect you. Thank you for all you do and btw – J is just great! But I know you know that!

Wow! I’m touched. And many thanks to my “top-shelf” online daily read, Ms. Debbie Schlussel, for blazing a trail.
Our work, as I see it, kind of boils down to this:
Create an American cultural consensus so that
a) Congressman Keith Ellison swearing into office on a Koran is instinctively and viscerally understood as an immoral, crude, rude provocation demanding censure or worse; and
b) Ann Coulter using linguistic sleight of hand to crack a joke about John Edwards, rehab, and also the word “faggot” is understood as making history.
When that day arrives, I’ll sell my laptop, buy a farm and then *really* earn my daily bread. But until then, I — and we — have to haul virtual a**.
Thanks again, Debbie. G-d bless.
