Well, I was wrong about whether or not we’d learn who did the bombings today at the Boston Marathon and the JFK Library, but not wrong about who did it. A “Saudi national” (translation: MUSLIM) has been ID’d as a suspect and is under guard at a hospital, according to the New York Post. Shocker. You know he had accomplices. And question: wouldn’t he qualify for amnesty under the Marco Rubio Senate Gangbang of Eight Immigration Amnesty Bill (until today)? Don’t bet against that. Investigators have a suspect — a Saudi Arabian national — in the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, The Post has learned. Law enforcement sources said the 20-year-old suspect was under guard at an undisclosed Boston hospital. It was not immediately clear why the man was hospitalized and whether he was injured in the attack or in his apprehension. The man was caught less than two hours after the 2:50 p.m. bombing on the finish line of the race, in the heart of Boston.

In addition, Boston police have has surveillance video of someone bringing multiple backpacks to blast site, according to CBS News. Police also confirmed that there was a third explosion, at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. It was not immediately clear how much damage was done or whether it was related to the bombings at the marathon finish line. The library bombing occurred about 4:30 p.m. and more than a mile from the marathon. A law enforcement source confirmed to The Post that 12 people were killed and nearly 50 were injured in today’s blast.

Television news outlets have been reporting for more than 30 minutes about the Saudi national in custody. No one’s “jumping the gun” except CNN who, as expected, tried to pin this on conservatives almost immediately after it happened.

I do not want to speculate politics should stay out of this for now. Lets worry about the injured and the people who died instead of rooting for a particular Terrorist to have committed this horrific crime.
On a side note what great example of the goodness people are capable of. Scores of runners who just finished a harrowing 26.2 mile race turned around and helped people who were injured.
Plus how the Boston officers as well as officials reacted is quite commendable. Within minutes the City was practically shut down. From the Subway to air space as well as major highways leaving Boston.
We may never know ..I pa=ray that the bastards get caught but my thought are with the people affected by this tragedy..

They’re talking about a yellow Penske rental truck which tried to enter the blast zone after the attack. The driver claimed to be carrying medical supplies. When he was refused entry, he speed off. Likely an attempted follow-on attack.

Obama was really sad he had to make such a blanket statement. They bombed the JFK library too. This was possibly retaliation for the sequester, or even a concerted action with the timing of the sequester to maximize impact. A whole country on the edge because all the federal security apparatus is suffering from the budget cuts, now it’s much easier to increase the military budget again. Whose failure was it?

This was NOT DONE by a single person, nor a small organization. This was a very PRECISE attack. It was not RANDOM.

Don’t forget the JFK Library was targeted by a device that produced a fire, according to the Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis. It is important to find out exactly what was targeted by this attack, namely the books and records that were damaged inside the JFK Library.

Striking similarity to London tube bombings: backpack bombs loaded with ball bearings, multiple bombs in different locations (one was in Newtown, which is up the marathon route).

Looking more and more like Al Qaeda operation. My bet is there will be more suspects, some foreign, some local, all Muslim, all tied to a local mosque but directed from abroad.

I do want to give my condolences to the families of the victims of the Boston bombing, (though I suspect none of them are on this site), but this is a tragedy that we as Americans, despite one’s political beliefs, should face together.

I don’t mean to be offensive (to the well-meaning peeps) but merely stating “condolences” to those hurt and their families just makes me sick. Please, either REALLY do some heavy-duty praying and help the families first-hand OR STOP that stupid, lip-service line. I hear it all the time and I wonder if most people say it to make themselves LOOK like they care? If THAT is the case, I am tired of hearing that. Being sorry means more than just being a fake and just saying that and nothing else.

It is ironic that this person is being treated in a Boston hospital for his injuries. how many more vicious attacks do we have to endure from extremists? Innocent people in America have had enough. Our president would not refer to this incident as a terrorist act during his first news conference. What else would you call exploding a bomb and killing or maiming innocent bystanders?

As for the bombing, when I was sitting in the waiting room at the local VA hospital this morning, I saw the news on TV announcing the Boston Marathon would be run today, and the thought immediately went through my mind, “Wouldn’t that make a great target?”

Previously on this thread, “SANJAY” commented that this is close to the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.

I would like to remind everyone that there would have been NO bombing in Oklahoma City if the federal agents who perpetrated the Waco Massacre had been arrested and prosecuted, instead of being rewarded with promotions.

Actually, this coming Friday 19 April 2013 is the true “Patriot’s Day”, commemorating the anniversary of “the shot heard ’round the World”, in 1775, when just seventy-seven (77) men and boys, mostly farmers, stood on the village green at Lexington to defy the World’s largest, best equipped, and best trained army.

And the reason they chose to do that – – – ?

GUN CONTROL ! ! !

The British regulars were enroute to disarm the Colonial militia, i.e., your ordinary, common, everyday, average citizens.

Because of that, the Nineteenth of April SHOULD be declared a National Holiday for the United States of America.

Friday 19 April 2013 is the anniversary of the illegal raid on the Branch Davidian church in Waco, Texas by publicity seeking agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Friday 19 April 2013 is also the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.

This is precisely why private citizens must be armed with military styled weapons that are equivalent to those used by the Armed Forces and the local police agencies.
